Strikes me I have heard this done elsewhere as well. Hope people are keeping notes on what our government is doing to us. We're becoming a good little totalitarian society. All in the name of public safety.

I know it’s unpopular, but I’ve been saying Trump got played from the beginning. This is on him, now. He has to call for the American people to rise in the face of Democrat, totalitarian rule that is unconstitutional. It’s looking like America died without so much as a single shot being fired (other than those from the criminals who were just let out of jail).

The impossibility of enforcing this notwithstanding, especially among the Mensa candidates in Baltimore . . .
The conversation at the local lockup would be enlightening.
"What are you in for?" "Arson and armed robbery."
"How about you?" "Murder. How about you?"
"I bought bread on a day ending in 3."

So when are they going to order us to wear yellow stars with our last name initial embroidered on it? This is just getting creepy. I cannot imagine showing up at Meijer and being asked, "Do you have your papers"?

Sounds like the old joke about the Soviet Union in the 70s..
Russian guy finally saves up enough money to buy one of the Russian lawn mower/cars. He goes to the car seller and buys the car. The seller tells him, okay, your car will be delivered on June 28th in 1984 (about eight years away).
The buyer asks, "Is that going to be in the morning or afternoon?" and the seller says, "Hey, that's eight years away. I don't know. Why do you need to know/"
"Well," says the buyer, "the plumber is coming in that morning."

This is clearly unfair. February has less days ending in 0 or 1; and months like March have an extra “1” and it’s immediately followed by the first of the next month which also ends in 1. They have to find a way so that D-G can’t shop two days in a row.

The authority to do this is in The First Amendment, which concludes: "All rights guaranteed by this Constitution may be abrogated at any time, for any reason, by any political hack with a D or an Rino after his/her/its name."

I s'pose that would work if there are no plans to let anyone go back to work.
Stimulus checks come the day before your shopping day. What a plan.

Not going to work. One day the markets will be choked up with the people having names beginning with the letters A-C, the next day swarmed by people having names beginning with the letters D-G, and so on.

Maryland has the I-95 road signs saying, "Stay at Home, Saves lives. Essential Travel Only". First time I saw these signs I said to myself, F you Hogan. This is the U.S., and I'll drive when I want and where I want anytime I want. Hogan claims he's a Republican, but he's a never Trumper who is more inclined to act like the Michigan governor then someone with any knowledge of the Constitution.

Accuse them of hoarding, then limit their shopping trips. That way the people get whacked no matter. The left likes to whack people, herd them into line.

In the 70's when gasoline went out of control, Washington State would only allow you to buy 5 gallons of gas and if your license plate number ended with an even number, you could buy on even number days. Same with odd numbers. I don't recall how long that lasted.
