Stacey Abrams: ‘I Would Be an Excellent
Running Mate’ to Biden

Original Article

Failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams (D) once again wants former Vice President Joe Biden to know that she really wants to be his vice-presidential pick. Speaking to Elle, Abrams reaffirmed her interest in joining the Democrat Party’s White House ticket, stating she would be “honored,” to do so and “would be an excellent running mate.” “I have the capacity to attract voters by motivating typically ignored communities. I have a strong history of executive and management experience in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. I’ve spent 25 years in independent study of foreign policy,” the Georgia Democrat told the magazine.

Comments:

Oh, I agree wholeheartedly. She'd be an excellent choice for Biden!! And anyone sitting on the fence RE this election would immediately leap over into the Trump camp!!

Twenty-five years of independent study of foreign policy? Only a leftist believes that to be a qualification for high office. Get outta here, you clown! I have at least 25 years myself, and I've lived in foreign countries. I have management experience too. Can I be freakin' President? We don't need dumb and dumbest leading our country. There is nearly no chance that Joe Biden serves out even 1 year of any term should he become POTUS. Thus, the pick for VP will be considered THE most important pick since it's nearly 100% certainty that person takes over from Joe. And, they've already explored how to use the 25th amendment. Joe has now also talked openly of how they intends to fundamentally transform the United States of America, which does not include a better society for everyone either. Maybe the elites, sure, but even in North Korea the elites live well. With the current virus crisis, you see how many Democrats are using new executive powers to curtail the 1st and 2nd amendments, in particular too.

In mid-March, President Trump announced his 15-day plan to shut down the economy. His administration’s hope was that we could “flatten the curve” and “slow the spread” of COVID-19. Toward the end of that period, the situation was reassessed and the decision was made to extend the shutdown until the end of April. By now, most cities and regions of the US, including New York State, the epicenter of the pandemic, have managed to achieve this milestone and Americans, currently ending our fifth week of the quarantine, are growing restless. The Wall Street Journal’s Kimberley Strassel writes, “The goal of the shutdown was never to eradicate the disease—

Please note that description. “Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate.” Not “former governor,” not “former Representative” or “former Senator.” She is only known as a one-time failed gubernatorial candidate in Georgia. She has no other accomplishments to her name. She was a state legislator, so she was really only well-known in her state district before running for governor.

EAU CLAIRE, Wisconsin--There is a tense scene in the movie Act of Valor when Derrick Van Orden, an active duty Navy SEAL at the time of filming, is interrogating a hardcore bad guy. The grittiness and intensity of the scene would make even the hardest of cynics cave under the pressure. The moment was completely unscripted, Van Orden said he was just being himself, and the monologue went not from the hip, but from years of military service and experiences, mostly intense, he’d had since first enlisting in the Navy at 18 years of age. If you take anything from those 5 minutes, 19 seconds of interrogation,

I felt like doing a little blaming of my own this week and came up with a new theory: What if this is all karma for letting Nancy Pelosi stay in power for so long? The liberal media are urging Joe Biden to form a shadow government to upstage President Donald Trump's crisis response effort, which illustrates its consuming partisanship -- and its insufficient attention to the health and welfare of the American people. MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle floated the idea during an interview with former Barack Obama staffer Jim Messina. Referring to Trump's COVID-19 daily press briefing, Ruhle asked, "Should Joe Biden be counterprogramming that? Should he be creating his own shadow government, shadow Cabinet, shadow SWAT team, and getting up there at a podium every night, saying, 'Here's the crisis we're in. In a remote interview earlier today on MSNBC, Democratic presidential nominee-apparent Joe Biden had a sad anecdote to tell about the impact of the Wuhan-virus pandemic on one American dad. I'm pretty sure, anyway. [Tweet] In case you don't have all day to make sense of Biden's story, I made the effort to transcribe it for you. It was a time-consuming process, but I've done my best to make it error-free. Still, any mistakes in the transcription are my own. Lapses of logic, coherence, cogency, grammar, and the like all belong to Biden. One last thing before you read on. Biden was making odd slurping noises during his appearance,

U.S. intelligence has “increasing confidence” that the novel Wuhan coronavirus outbreak began in a lab that was researching bat-coronaviruses, contrary to China’s claim that the pandemic emerged from a Wuhan wet market, according to multiple sources that briefed Fox News. The sources told Fox News that the initial transmission of the virus looks to be bat-to-human, and that “patient zero” contracted the disease while working at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, before going into the general population. While the lab is China’s first to achieve the highest level of international bio-research safety, known as BSL-4, its work with bats had been conducted at the lower protection level of BSL-2.

Jay Inslee (D) on Friday accused President Donald Trump of encouraging “illegal and dangerous acts” that could lead to “violence” by calling on states to be liberated from stay-at-home orders implemented due to the Chinese coronavirus pandemic.“The president’s statements this morning encourage illegal and dangerous acts. He is putting millions of people in danger of contracting COVID-19. His unhinged rantings and calls for people to “liberate” states could also lead to violence. We’ve seen it before,” Inslee said in a statement.“The president’s call to action today threatens to undermine his own goal of recovery by further delaying the ability of states to amend current interventions

Three armed robbers got the shock of their lives when they broke into a Florida apartment — and were shot at by the person inside, police said. Chilling surveillance video shows the trio walking up to a second-story Neptune Beach residence on Tuesday evening, as one of them uses his body to push in the door. Seconds later, about five gunshots ring out and the three men scurrying out, with one even leaping over the balcony to the ground. Police said one of the home invaders was shot in the chest and was being treated at a hospital, local outlet WJXT reported. The other two were still being sought on Wednesday.
