Europe’s five largest nations have suffered more than three times the coronavirus deaths as the United States, though collectively they have about the same population. The United States had recorded 20,614 deaths as of Sunday morning, while the five European countries (324 million people, compared with 330 million in the U.S.) tallied 63,054, according to a Washington Times analysis. New confirmed COVID-19 cases from Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Spain also exceeded the number of U.S. infected, 654,357 versus 530,200, according to the Johns Hopkins University global coronavirus tracker.(Snip) The 27-country European Union is showing signs of unhappiness with its strategies

All of them nations with nationalized healthcare, while we struggle to save ourselves from the same mediocrity.

Even after being repeatedly corrected, the enemedia continue to spew out the BS line that the U.S. leads the world in Coronavirus deaths.
Which means it's gone from being a plausibly-excusable error to an obstinate and egregious lie. Apparently it's just business as usual for the fake news industry during the lockdown.

This is the first article that I've seen that compares apples to apples.
They have 3+ the number of deaths and 20% more infected. Any question as to who has the better healthcare system?
And the enemedia won't touch these statistics.

The keep mentioning that we aren't testing as much as some countries. You only need testing if you present with symptoms. 39 counties in KS, 5 counties in California, I lost count of the counties in Texas with no cases at about 40, and untold dozens and dozens of other counties across the USA have NO cases....so no need at all for testing in those places.
Tests per capita is a bogus statistic, totally bogus.

You're right #3. We also have something those five countries don't have. It's called President Trump.

It is not the number of deaths but death rate (That too honestly reported) is the critical issue. Don't the Media know this? Of course they do. But you cannot help Trump Derangement Syndrome!

The U.S. does not have a healthcare "crisis" we had an insurance affordability crisis. We have the best care in the world. That is why modeling what might happen here by what happened "over there" was always flawed.
Forget China because they always lie, but Italy? The cities hit the worst have hundreds of thousand of Chinese nationals who made regular trips from the epicenter of the epidemic for weeks, those very town have a very large population of elderly. Italians social customs are much more "huggy/kissy" than the average American, and, a big one, they have socialized medicine. How long did it take to recognized and treat most patients?
Here, most of us have had pretty good healthcare for most of our lives, and of course we had the advantage to see this coming. Trump took measures quickly, and thank God he know show to put a team together and, while a couple make object, I believe he has the smarts to get us back up and running sooner rather than later and will be able to rally all Americans to participate.
This article puts the numbers into perspective puts the lie to all the MSM "reporting." I also think it tells the world that there is NO country on Earth like The United States. Were good, generous, many are heroic, and we love our freedom. We must protect those freedoms in November, the loss of our capitalist systems will be far more deadly than the virus.

Darn, darn, darn.
If we only had those EU leaders in charge of America we could be Number One in the world.
Except for China as there are inside China reports that over 20 Million people have died in China of COVID-19.

Thousand died from the flu last year. 20,000 are claimed to have died from Corona.
How many of these were actually Corona and not the influenza we always get, but have been claimed to be Corona.
Did they test each dead person or just count the dead?
How many would have died anyway? Since most of those dying had one foot in the grave already.
