How many people does Cuomo deem to be an acceptable number to die before he approves that hydroxychloroquine/Z-Pak treatment? Is he hoarding the drug for his deranged brother? How about his mother? Is she getting the drug? Is your name on his Death Panel list?

Good story. And nary a word about zinc, thank goodness. I would certainly want chloroquine and a Z-pack to be my treatment. I suppose that the hate will flow when I point out that this is what is known officially as an anecdote.

I am a physician who has taken Hydroxychloroquine for many years and has prescribed it as well. Extremely safe drug or I would not take it. The medical bureocrats like the tv munchkin make tons of money from research grants and are freaking out that a safe and a cheap treatment has been found. They are probably pressuring ingnorant Cuomo to not have it available for pharmacists and doctors to dispense. He will have the blood of New Yorkers on his hands. This needs more exposure to make this drug available for regular people without having to go to the hospital!!!

It's a well known, generally safe drug. It's cheap. It's available. The issue is, when only 3 of 100 sick actually die and you test it on 30 people, maybe no one was going to die anyway. There is a good amount of anecdotal evidence like this to suggest there is some benefit. So why not use it? If coronavirus kills 200 of 10,000, who cares if it saves 40 or 199. It is still lives saved with little cost and low risk. Plus, there is no other alternative. It's not like there is a known cure that is being set aside to try this out. Also note that the recommendation is that it be given at onset of proven illness. That means that Andy Cuomo is risking people's live by restricting it's use. The right thing to do is to leave the decision in the doctor's hands with informed approval by the patient.

I am in the ten ring for death if I get this thing. I am 75, have diabetes, (according to the VA I need to say thank you, Agent Orange), type A blood and a number of other problems. If I get this thing my doctor will give me hydroxychloroquine and antibiotics or I will find a doctor that will.

So how is CNN approaching the two most important elected officials in the country in these days of crisis? At Elected Official One, CNN directs a nonstop barrage of antagonistic questions, along with hostile commentary disguised as questions, plus additional hostile commentary not disguised as questions, for the sole purpose of creating gotcha moments that serve no public-information purpose whatsoever. It’s dog meets fire hydrant. When dealing with Elected Official Two, CNN brings in . . . his brother. For a nonstop massage of gentle questioning, family banter and general fawning. Rome - Pope Francis has said the coronavirus pandemic is one of "nature's responses" to humans ignoring the current ecological crisis. In an email interview published Wednesday in The Tablet and Commonwealth magazines, the pontiff said the outbreak offered an opportunity to slow down the rate of production and consumption and to learn to understand and contemplate the natural world. "We did not respond to the partial catastrophes. Who now speaks of the fires in Australia, or remembers that 18 months ago a boat could cross the North Pole because the glaciers had all melted? Who speaks now of the floods?"

Dr. Zeke Emanuel — the architect of the bloated Obamacare legislation — essentially called for an 18-month national lockdown to stem the coronavirus outbreak. Ezekiel Emanuel was the former health-policy adviser under Barack Obama. He’s also the brother of former Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel, who was Obama’s White House chief of staff. Zeke Emanuel has been spent his entire medical career in academia or government, so it’s safe to say that he doesn’t have to worry about missing a paycheck during a nationwide shutdown. Like fellow government bureaucrat Dr. Anthony Fauci, Emanuel offered a bleak picture of America’s future. “Realistically, COVID-19 will be here for the next 18 months or more,” Emanuel told MSNBC.
