Brooklyn—A Brooklyn man accused of selling medical supplies to doctors at massive markups allegedly intentionally coughed on FBI agents and told them he had COVID-19, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said Monday. Baruch Feldheim, 43, was arrested on charges of assaulting a federal officer and with making false statements to law enforcement. On March 18, a New Jersey doctor contacted Feldheim via a WhatsApp chat group labeled “Virus2020!" Feldheim allegedly agreed to sell the doctor masks and other materials for $12,000, an approximately 700 percent markup. The doctor was told to go to an auto repair shop to pick up the order, Carpenito said.

“The doctor was told to go to an auto repair shop to pick up the order, Carpenito said. The doctor found enough "materials, including hand sanitizers, Clorox wipes, chemical cleaning supply agents, and surgical supplies, to outfit an entire hospital."
Is this an example of what President Trump described yesterday, that of a NYC hospital suddenly going from needing 10,000 masks a week to 300,000. Surely a hospital staffer following the Obama doctrine of not letting a crisis go to waste but rather to one’s pockets.

I guess people have different ways to survive at these times. I have faith that a new normal will happen at the appropriate time.
Meanwhile, I making face masks for the medical community in my corner of the world.

Send him to Riker's Island. Send the NYC health commissioner who recommended that everyone party there too.

If a person claims to have a possible deadly disease and coughs on someone else intentionally, isn't that assault with a deadly weapon?

Intentionally coughing on a police officer these days rightfully should result in accidentally......somehow getting a broken nose. By accident, of course.

Perhaps this is where those 300K masks from the hospital in NYC went? Call me crazy but I think maybe the Jersey mob just might have been as busy as the hospital workers. Trump as right again. Any takers on how much of the MSM is going to cover this story?

Knowing what we know now, and even more so in respect to the overblown hysteria...shouldn't this type of action be considered bio-terrorism? This zero belong at GTMO. Let him pal around with experienced terrorists.

The arresting agents should have used a 9/40/45 projectile (whatever was available on hand) to do a quick visual check of his lungs on the spot....just to be sure.

Somebody might want to check on his relationship to the Coumo crime family. The families godfather keeps crying on TV for more supplies, I presume to be sold to the highest bidder.

Governor Cuomo likes blame president Trump for the medical supply shortages in the state of New York when it's actually his constituency that's taking advantage of the situation and price gouging. Baruch Feldheim, isn't that an Irish name?

My son and I go to a supermarket in a small town in Oklahoma. It's open 24 hours so we go between midnight and 3:00 a.m. Less than 10 other shoppers, lots of stockers and tons of boxes being emptied to shelves. We even found lots of toilet paper. We went again last night and just as I got to the eggs, son came up to me and said "the man coming down this aisle towards us is sneezing all over the place with lots of snot everywhere." I grabbed one carton of eggs, didn't even open to check it, and we got out of there. I wonder if this is going on elsewhere?

Unfortunately, his surname will feed the Antisemitic hysteria even more. Most likely a JINO.
