Royal enthusiasts have gone wild over a new clip of the Cambridge children - pointing out how similar they look to their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, and their great grandmother the Queen. Prince George, six, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, one, led millions of people across the UK in showing appreciation for NHS staff who are on the frontline of the fight against coronavirus. The youngsters were filmed laughing and clapping together in a garden - with the clip being shared yesterday on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Instagram account alongside the #ClapForOurCarers.

This is really pretty silly. Children’s appearances change so much over time. No one knows whom they will resemble when they are adults.

Regardless of whom they resemble, little Prince Louis is now a very cute little boy and no longer a baby. He turns two years in about 3-4 weeks.

Dear Daily Mail (UK): There are far fewer fans of the royals out here than you realize. Charles began that downturn long ago and the team of Meghan and 'arry sealed the deal. Hint: Inbreeding does not pass on desireable traits, only the ears and the mental illness.

News flash: there is no shortage of cute kids in the world. Abolish the monarchy after Her Majesty passes. If her heirs the princelings want the celebrity/rock star lifestyle, let them pay for it out of their own purses. Not a one of them has the sense of duty that the Queen has.

Yes #9, and despite the massive fluff pieces flowing from Buckingham Palace PR offices, Wm and Kate haven’t exactly set hearts to racing either. Since Diana’s death, things have never been the same. The affection is there for the Queen. I can tell you in little hamlets all across England, more formerly solid monarchists feel as you do. They were beginning to well before Harry took a wife.

After passing the largest economic relief bill in history, Congress is now considering staying away from Washington for a month or more as the coronavirus makes even the routine act of legislating a dangerous risk for new transmissions. Officially, Congress is scheduled to come back on April 20 as lawmakers try to avoid traveling and congregating amid the raging crisis and as they plot a potential fourth phase of economic relief. Unofficially, it could take even longer for Congress to physically come back into session. And longer still for things to return to anywhere near normal on Capitol Hill, where

Earlier today, he gave an interview to MSNBC in which he pontificated about the coronavirus, or tried to. It was a sad spectacle. He apparently tried to read notes that he had before him, but was unable to do so, and lapsed into frustration and incoherence:

The start of the coronavirus has been traced back to a wet market in Wuhan, China, where patient zero purchased bat soup. Exotic mammals in unsanitary conditions flood the streets. And, despite what we know about the start of this virus, China has allowed wet markets to reopen, The Daily Mail reported. Even worse, there are no apparent attempts to raise hygiene standards to prevent another virus from emerging. From The Daily Mail: Terrified dogs and cats crammed into rusty cages. Bats and scorpions offered for sale as traditional medicine. Rabbits and ducks slaughtered and skinned side by side on a stone floor covered with blood, filth, and animal remains.

Tens of millions of Americans will likely lose their jobs as the coronavirus pandemic sends the U.S. economy into a free fall, causing the unemployment rate to surge to levels not seen since the Great Depression, according to a St. Louis Federal Reserve estimate. The analysis, posted by St. Louis Fed economist Miguel Faria-e-Castro, projected that unemployment could hit 32 percent in the second quarter as more than 47 million workers are laid off as a result of the pandemic, which has forced swaths of the economy to shut down. That would exceed the 24.9 percent peak during the Great Depression.(Snip)The picture already looks grim: Jobless claims
