FTA: Biden will be the nominee, and if there is some party-wide panic between now and November, Democrats are more likely to turn to someone whose upside comes with no real downside. Who has more upside than downside? The HildeBeast?

Back to "pick your poison" time. Yes, I'd prefer Cuomo (least progressive of all) to Biden because I'm afraid of who Biden will pick for his VP. That's critical, since that ridiculous option of the 25th amendment for Trump is certainly a possibility for Biden. It's all meaningless if Trump can defeat the MSM and the Dem vote finagling.

This is a disappointing, flimsy essay. It pokes at speculation such as John Fund, but never acknowledges the central problem: Joe Biden's obvious and perhaps accelerating mental deterioration. Kilgore writes, "Barring something bizarre happening, Biden will be the nominee. . . ." In the chronicle of American electoral politics, something bizarre (and sad) is happening. Joe Biden isn't even the man he was 6 months ago. What are the Democrats going to do about it?

Many of these governors such as Cuomo like all the attention. Just like the TV doctors. The reporters are terrible. Cavuto had Rubio on last night and I got nothing out of it. Cavuto didn't even ask about the pork in the bill. My brother in law in CT just got a 25% pay cut. He has two in college and it will hurt him. He won't get a dime in aid even though he has been a taxpayer for years. Much of the aid goes to the shiftless. Surprisingly, Graham has been good. Biden is becoming worse. He is almost getting sympathy now though I loathe him. I hate his tough guy image. I will never forgive him for his behavior during the Clarence Thomas hearings. Biden is a nasty thug.

I don't know that it is possible to predict what the dems will do because they are crazy and desperate. Nasty Pelousy just walked into an obvious buzzsaw with a smile by trying to hold up the recovery bill, turning it into the biggest dem pork sandwich ever envisioned. The dems couldn't have passed it when BO first stood in front of the Greek columns. Yet, they not only proposed it, they BRAGGED they were using the crisis to ram it down America's throat. Sure, they chortled in private when they passed BOCare about stupid Americans and lied about what was in it but they knew they had to bamboozle the People and some of the Congress. This week, they planned to ram this through like offering a $2 trillion bottle of polluted, toxic water to a man crawling through a desert. They even clearly labeled the bottle. With that kind of crazy, who knows what they will do? I suspect Cuomo, on the other hand, is not quite as foolish as to engage in the dem mud wrestling contest. He would be better served to use the opportunity for good exposure and wait for 4 years. Of course he does have an enormous ego. Ego is why the dem party has come down to Communism and Senility for their choice and they only recently have started to worry that the American People might decide on "none of the above".

The Demos don't need no stinking' flu d-Etat to accomplish their goal. You can bet their plans already are in place. The media will do their very best to keep blank Biden protected. Hilliary will be his choice for a female VP. She'll claim that together they can beat Trump because SHE already has, by 3 million votes. Joe will get "sick" at convenient times, but no worries---his "gutsy-gal" VP choice will step in to show she's got huevos. She'll become his voice. The Demos might even try to change the rules so SHE alone can debate Trump and Pence together---it's only fair you know. Dr Jill will prop up Old Blank Joe at the swearing-in ceremony. And then there'll be Arkancide.

What I believe is Cuomo is being road tested right now as the VP pick. They know Biden could keel over or simply drop out at any time so their hope is to run the real candidate as the VP, so they have the back up all ready to slide into the top position at a moment's notice. This is the king of all attempts at fraud IMO, and they just cannot let it slide by without trying it on.

Goodbye, Green New Deal 4 replies

What will happen next with the coronavirus epidemic is unknown, but it seems certain to claim one very high-profile victim: the so-called Green New Deal. Good riddance. The current crisis in the U.S. economy is, in miniature but concentrated form, precisely what the Left has in mind in response to climate change: shutting down large sectors of the domestic and global economies through official writ, social pressure, and indirect means, in response to a crisis with potentially devastating and wide-ranging consequences for human life and human flourishing. What is under way right now in response to the epidemic is in substance much like the Green New Deal

Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Renewable energy is getting so cheap that it doesn’t need subsidies anymore. Yes, well. Renewables live or die by subsidies, in fact. That was proved yet again this week, when Democrats tried (unsuccessfully) to stuff a panoply of Green New Deal measures into the corona-crisis relief bill — including extensions of the tax credits that have been driving the growth of solar and wind energy. That Congressional Democrats would push so hard for solar and wind subsidies at such a critical time for the US economy is particularly galling for two reasons. First, the wind industry already stands to collect some $33.75 billion in subsidies

Clinton took the latest developments as an opportunity to knock her former 2016 rival on Twitter. "He did promise 'America First,'" Clinton wrote, referring to one of the president's oft-repeated campaign slogans.

Whatever you think about President Trump and his response to this global pandemic that sparked from a Chinese “wet market” selling wildlife, you cannot exactly be heartened to behold the response offered by Democrats. The party’s presumed nominee, former Vice President Joseph R.
