Donald Trump goes to political war on
Andrew Cuomo accusing him of turning down
16,000 ventilators five years ago after NY
governor slammed lack of federal supplies

President Trump waged a full-scale political attack on New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, complete with opposition research, as he pointed out that Cuomo could have bought more ventilators five years ago to protect his state against a pandemic. Trump appeared on Fox News Channel Tuesday from the White House Rose Garden and handed anchor Bill Hemmer an article, 'It says New York Gov. Cuomo rejected buying recommended 16,000 ventilators in 2015 for the pandemic, for a pandemic, establish death panels and lotteries instead,' Trump said. 'So he had a chance to buy in 2015, 16,000 ventilators at a very low price and he turned it down

Why should Cuomo buy his own ventilators when he has illegal aliens to support? Liberal women will defend their new MSM-defined heartthrob.

I just have to know... Are those boxes for ventilators behind the governor empty? Or is he hoarding the devices and using them for photo ops?

New York recognized a need of some 16,000 ventilators that would be necessary for New York to deal with a pandemic. The cost of the ventilators was about $450-million New York ultimately decided not to buy the ventilators and to use the 450-million saved on ventilators to pay for their state funding of Medicare for illegal aliens. The ventilators? The state decided to adopt a procedure for deciding who gets the ventilators....death panels.

Yesterday the NY governor was saying that no-one is "disposable". I guess he forgot the celebrations over abortion up to --through-- birth. I guess babies are still disposable! the irony is grotesque. When one generation is fading and dying in the natural course of life, where disease takes the highest toll, the newborn generation takes their place. Not in the death cult age of the dominant Left. No. babies are quite disposable in their nihilistic minds.

This could be the opening volley in the 2020 campaign. Wouldn't surprise me to see Cuomo emerge as the "savior" when Goofy Ol' Joe has to bow out. Looks as if the campaign bots are already hard at it, swooning on line and generally extolling "Heartthrob" Andy for his brilliant leadership. So he may not be the female candidate they wanted, exactly, but he is the next best thing--the highest high priest in the abortion cult. Gag.

Each and every governor or every state should have been readied every year for a pandemic with gloves, beds, ventilators, etc. That is THEIR job!!!!! Just as a reminder, our country lost many hospitals during the omaba reign. And BTW, all that TAX PAYER money that was spent on the IMPEACHMENT of TRUMP should would come in handy now!!!!!

#2, Cuomo made a very poor decision not to spend $450 million on ventilators, particularly when you consider that New York State spent $63 BILLION in fiscal year 2016 on Medicaid alone (fiscal year spending in 2018 was nearly $75 billion). That is the second highest amount spent by any state, exceeded only by California, which has more than twice NY's population. Put in that perspective, the cost of the ventilators seems doable.

Cuomo wants to hog all goobermint resources for himself so he looks like a savior while other states can whistle Dixie. All he cares about is not spending state money so he can hand out billions of free money to wind and solar companies courtesy of NY tax payers for his utopia of no electricity or fossil fuels for anyone. He's a putz, always has been, always will be, and he's attempting to become a savior to position himself for the demonrat convention hoping he'll be the final nominee.

It's been a few years since I worked in Hospital Mgt, but in many States (NY is one of them), there is Governmental authority over adding equipment, hospital beds, hospitals, etc. STATE AUTHORITY! It is called a Certificate of Need. Look it up! Cuomo is trying to deflect blame because he doesn't want to be left holding the bag for choosing to fund other things. The reader can come to their own conclusions as to why that is the case.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) certainly has a way of rewriting history. Pelosi appeared on MSNBC with Andrea Mitchell today with Mitchell about a Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) that impeachment may have slowed down the federal response to the Wuhan coronavirus. While Trump responded immediately in January, Democrats were completely focused on their continuing narrative against Trump. The virus to them was just another avenue to try to attack Trump,
