‘There’s no playbook for this’:
Biden trapped in campaign limbo

Joe Biden reached a new and heady milestone when he shellacked Bernie Sanders in Florida, Illinois and Arizona to become the de facto Democratic nominee for president. But there was no soaring speech to acknowledge the moment. He never took the stage amid a sea of Biden signs or before an adoring crowd on national television. Biden was instead stuck in a makeshift studio in his Delaware home, webcasting his remarks with a low-quality personal computer camera against a straight-out-of-YouTube black backdrop and two American flags. He warned about the coronavirus contagion. He offered an olive branch to Bernie Sanders. Then, despite two consecutive weeks of smashing victories,

The reality of Uncle Joe's candidacy is that dems will vote for a pumpkin over Bernie; and they are. The Chinese virus emergency is sucking the remaining air out of the dead end dem campaign. In some ways that's good because Joe is embarrassing in public and it might save him some humiliation; although he seems somewhat clueless about his foolishness, making it even worse. "His momentum has effectively been stopped cold." "He’s only in a predicament to the degree he chooses to view himself in one,” “He needs to offer an alternative and offer a running play-by-play critique of the failings of this administration.” All this shows that many dem strategists don't "get it" and are trying to apply typical campaign strategy in an extremely abnormal situation. "The first step: installing a better video camera in Biden’s house" This is going to be hilarious. Biden, who is a fossilized dinosaur, learned how to run in personal appearance settings. We have clearly seen how unable he is to handle change. Uncle Joe is going to come off as a bad Max Headroom copy. The reality is, unless Trump does something monumentally horrible, he will be reelected. The situation will prevent the dems from moving forward and they are still fractured, short of cash, and many of their supporters are despondent. Even if things were normal, this would be very hard to get over. With a candidate like the malfunctioning Joebot, almost impossible. WIll they be able to have a convention safely? If not, it could be a lackluster finish to an painful primary season. The only silver lining for the delusional dems is that they will be able to blame their failure on the virus. That may allow them to drag their zombie party forward for a while rather then having it completely implode after the elections. The points they propose in this article show how delusional they are. Unfortunately, there is a chunk of the voters just as unbalanced.

It's delicious to consider that Biden has two kinds of people with him: old-time dead-enders who are trying to regain past glories and never-weres like Symone Sanders aka the Hungry Hungry Hippo. Both sets were relying strictly on pro forma politics. The podium shot, the ad with candidate in shirtsleeves, etc. Slogans and false accusations have absolutely no currency now. Their candidate can't think for himself and they have no substantive ideas whatsoever.

At a time when none of us knows what the next 24 hours will bring, when the kids can go back to school, whether we'll have enough food for the next month, much less whether we'll have a job, Politico focuses on the poisonous effort to put relevancy into an irrelevant El CID candidate. (After death, El Cid was arrayed in armor and placed on his horse to lead his troops into one last battle.) Right now, the only relevant Democrat is Cuomo, who gets along with Trump. for now anyway. The contrast won't be between Biden and Trump but between Biden and Cuomo. That can't be good for either Biden or rhe Democrats.

Right now Cuomo is doing a good job, especially in leashing De Blasio, who if he could would put NYC under martial law. But in his hour long Mussolini-like ramblings on the NY C19 situation, he shows how tiresome he is. Clearly he is angling, as he has all along, for a presidential nod from the Dem party bosses when Biden is forced to withdraw doe to his cognitive impairment. Saving grace? Cuomo on a national stage would even encourage Dems to get out the rusty razor blades.

Back when I was a karate instructor i had a student who would occasionally just stop and stare off into space for 30-40 seconds. I told his mother that I thought he might be having seizures and she should consult a doctor. Sure enough, he was. I think that’s what’s happening to OldJoe and is why he just stood there at the end of his little video speech. One more issue and one more reason he should be at the nursing home instead of campaigning for anything at all.

A playbook won’t help Biden much when he can’t even follow a teleprompter. Anytime Obama went off script he became stuttering and incoherent. Biden can’t remember which State he’s in. The fact that the DNC stuck themselves with an old white guy clearly suffering from either Alzheimers or dementia says a lot about their talent pool. Nice to know they have a ready excuse for why he went down in flames.

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news here but unfortunately nobody on the left has SEEN the videos of vacant, oblivious, blank Biden. The media and Demos are carefully protecting him. How do voters know about what they don't know about? Hillary is just salivating, thinking she'll rush in at the last minute to save the day. She's an opportunist, above all. And in HER mind, the stars seem to have aligned for her. Always, ALWAYS pay attention to where she is and what she's doing. When she's quiet, beware. .

politico seems to be desperate as they try to pimp out old Jo Biden. old Jo is politically irrelevant - sort of a modern day Wendell Wilkie, 1940 era republican nominee for President, running against FDR. Wilkie was nominated at the republican convention on the 6th ballot, I believe. He then disappeared, forever. So will Politico.

Smoke & mirrors. After the convention eliminates Bernie and then Joe becomes the standard bearer for his rotten party, he can be easily replaced between the convention and the election by party leaders for the 50 states meeting in a mini-convention. No delegates --- and the bigger states (NY, California, Illinois, etc) rule that roost. Thus, if Old Joe gets sick (?) or just needs to be replaced because he's dotty, anyone can be substituted. Yes, anyone. That means look for Andy Cuomo or Gavin Newsom to take a quick short-cut end run and come up as Trump's opponent. No fuss and plenty of Bloomberg money as long as he's promised Secretary of State or Treasury. Some people might say that this was the master plan all along!

Poor Joe. Pressing the flesh is now limited to touching the computer screen - somewhat a political equivalent to getting healed by a TV preacher offering his electronic audience the chance to 'hold your hand up to the TV screen'. Hey! Maybe Joe can sell 'holy' handkerchiefs that he's touched (and then sterilized) - for only a modest fee plus shipping and handling. Wear it on your head and imagine Uncle Joe sniffing your hair. It could work.

The leftist and liberal Democrats, and especially Joseph Biden, are limited now to Monday morning quarterbacking and plagiarizing Trump Administration Plans to manage the Chinese corona crisis, by falsely calling them the Democrat Plan, while adding on a lot of government “pork” spending to Democrat supporting entities and individuals. In those respects the Democrats are bound to go overboard on the crisis and even attempt to protect China using fraudulent racism and xenophobic claims as their basis. President Trump and the Republicans should keep following their plans and when appropriate hit back at Democrat propaganda as the crisis plays out. When the crisis is over the Democrats will have given Trump and the Republicans a huge amount of political ammunition.

If you wondered why Fox has given hours and hours for Cuomo to ramble on, my take is that Paul Ryan, now at the top of Fox News, is working to get Cuomo in as the replacement candidate for Biden. Biden will suddenly discover that he has 'health problems' and drop out, and the powers that be will pick Cuomo by acclimation. Just watch.

Can you even begin to imagine what would happen if Biden were president at this time? I can. He'd hand everything off to the 'experts' and 'scientists' and let them make the decisions. Since 'experts' and 'scientists' are not necessarily great leaders or great administrators we would have interagency battles and bureaucratic maneuvering. The problems would fester and be magnified. Many would lose their lives unnecessarily. The democrats are reaping the whirlwind. They are about to do one of two things--nominate a candidate who is clearly mentally impaired or steal the nomination from him. Grabbing Cuomo at the last minute is probably a fool's errand. Cuomo just may be smart enough to keep his powder dry, wait for better times and stomach the Trump landslide.

After this national crisis I don't think Biden will be the nominee. Democrats are giddy over Andy Cuomo whose staff even think he is a bad guy. But, if Andy keeps up his 11am DST briefings (auditions) I think he will emerge as their new saviour. Bloomberg will back him as will Soros. And Andy, he is tasting the power already. The NYS Legislature weeks ago passed legislation that gave him dictatorial powers which is the last thing a guy like him should be given, crisis or no crisis. He's made more of a shambles out of NY than it already was. He happily signed the infanticide bill as well as this awful get out of jail free card so called bail reform Act. He is surrounded by scandal and is a disaster. And he is Bernie Sanders with a better NY accent. But in these times, he certainly looks better than Biden. Just look at the picture of Biden in the article. He has a very disconcerting blank stare. Imagine him trying to give a daily briefing in a crisis? No Andrew is emerging and Trump will not so easily swat him away. After this crisis is over, the political scene is going to get even uglier. Hang on to your hats.

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

The Royal Family was left reeling this morning after Meghan Markle tearfully revealed that the stress of royal life made her suicidal when she was five months pregnant, claimed Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed-race and said Kate Middleton made her cry before she married Harry in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple also chose to reveal that they are having a baby girl to the tens of millions of people watching the CBS show broadcast in the US before accusing the Royal Family of racism and revealing the deep rift 'Megxit' has caused with Prince Charles and Prince William.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Without question, the vast majority of Americans who support former President Donald Trump were angry and frustrated throughout 2020 passed with barely a mention of then-U.S. Attorney John Durham’s criminal investigation into the FBI’s fraudulent “Russiagate” counterterrorism operation directed at his 2016 campaign. In the weeks before the November election, word got out that then-Attorney General William Barr wasn’t going to announce any indictments or even a report on Durham’s investigation because he did not want to influence the outcome. So far, in fact, the only indictment to come out of the Durham probe is that of former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who essentially got a slap on the wrist

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
