It’s a strange time.
And, to me, it’s an interesting time. We’re living in a situation we’ve never before seen, one we likely (or, hopefully) will never see again.
The world’s operating differently, and with that change comes opportunity — to live differently, and also, in some ways, to do better.
Amid the challenges — as in times past — if you want to see the heart of America, look at her in moments of crisis.
When there’s a need, we come together. And some people are using the current state of quarantine, social distancing, and closures to help others.

Philippians 3: 18 For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things.

In my opinion, I think it's safe to exclude the vast majority of the so-called media from this article. They and most democrats are doing everything in their dwindling power to bring this country and president down. A China Pox on all of them.

Clearly, the left has not been able to crush the American spirit as much as they have tried. Americans all over the country are going the second mile because it is who we are as a people. It is in our DNA and shows itself anytime there is a pressing need. We will not deny who we are, how we have been taught to be kind and care for each other, and we know we must pull together during tough times. I am so proud to be an American. In my little town and around the country we are doing what is asked of us and more. There will always be those who are selfish, rude and defiant but they are in the minority. This is the time for America to shine and it is despite the political left and media who would rather continue to grouse and complain and attack than to come together for the good of the country. Well done, Americans! Let’s fly our flag in solidarity like after 9/11. We can beat this together!

We live in a smaller town in western Colorado having moved from Denver last year to our retirement home. The folks here are great. Yes, we have our share of leaf-leaning folks, but, they still have to put their pants on one leg at a time same as the rest of us. And they are very ok with the President's war on the virus. Our medical system in Mesa County is over all it. The schools are functioning as well as they can with huge parental support. Only two confirmed cases of the virus here and those individuals are recovering. And the Trump/Pence 2020 banners are going up everywhere and along I-70.
After this is all over, hug a trucker or two who have kept the supply chain moving during this terrible crisis.

God bless the truckers who are the silent soldiers of this pandemic battlefield. They are engine of this nation that is keeping us alive and together.

And the churches across our great Nation, are reaching out to members and others, to meet prayer, financial, and emotional needs of its Flock, as Jesus has called us, “Come unto me...”

I live in the middle of Silicon Valley. My daughter and I were noticing people are being more polite, (she held the door open for someone and they said thank you!). Sadly that is often not the case. People in the stores are smiling at each other and seem to have a "we are all in this together" spirit. People walking are waving to me when I am driving. This is unusual. We were talking about it, and thinking maybe everyone not being in a hurry is causing them to be more polite. Whatever is the reason, it is a good thing.

I imagine that the media is very dismayed that even with their frantic attempts to pass their own personal fears off as reality, they are not happy that the American people are pulling together even in the face of the media onslaught. I loathe the media and what they are attempting to do to Trump with the heat of 10K suns. They have done nothing but call for this nation's destruction, and by that is the only thing they will accept now.

Called the WH switchboard this week, left a message with the polite Marine who answered, to please give my message to VP Pence and his task force to please consider changing the the word social, in ‘Social Distancing,’ to “Physical Distancing.”
Americans need to continue being social... like here!

It's interesting that those people that are legends in their own minds, like Hollywoodites, sports folks, media personalities and most of the politicians are really not as important as the regular old working deplorables in this country that are keeping things running.

When you're anxious, read the Psalms and John 14 & 16.
When you're weak, sing the "Rock of Ages".
When you' re downcast, dance like King David and worship the Lord.
When dealing with fear, "Trust in the Lord with all your ❤, & lean not on your own understanding...."--Proverbs 3:5-6.
