Lawyers for the Democratic National Committee claimed in court filings this week that the Steele dossier’s statements regarding Trump campaign aide Carter Page were “substantially true,” a defense that is at odds with the findings of the Justice Department’s inspector general. “Here, the ‘gist’ of the complained-of statements — that Page coordinated with Russian government contacts as an adviser to the Trump campaign — aligns with Page’s own description of his conduct,” the DNC lawyers asserted in a court filing on Monday. The filing was the DNC’s first in response to a defamation lawsuit that Page filed on Jan. 30 accusing the DNC and two lawyers

It's great when the Left lies in court. We then have documented proof that they are liars. Of course, the only time the Left is "guilty" is when one of them is sitting in a jail cell for a mandatory sentence. Even then they will try to argue the point. As a contrast, Republicans are deemed "guilty" just because they woke up in the morning; sometimes even when they don't. The amazing thing is, the Left continually gets away with it and the lies get bigger and bigger.

Bingo, #4! The truth is not in the democrat party. It is always about feelings. Nevertheless, it seems to work for them. We must fix our broken justice system or the American people will lose all trust in the ability for justice to be served in this country. This is one of the cases that is pivotal. Democrats will want to obfuscate and delay, but that tactic will not work this time. Americans are fed up with this rotten two-tiered system.

OK, let me see if I get this straight... The DNC is saying that the fictitious, bought-and-paid-for-through-foreign-election-interference is 'substantially' true. While, at the same time, the mountains of REAL evidence against the Clintons is all the work of some vast right wing conspiracy.

Undoubtedly the DNC argument at least implies that Steele was a reliable man would could be counted on for gathering and assembling truthful, factual intel, and that they relied on him to have vetted his product, of which they were a duped consumer if this proves to be false.

As every 77 year old in the country should be doing, Joe Biden is staying home. Since he all but clinched the Democratic presidential nomination, the country's economy has crumbled thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, effectively shuttering political campaigning alongside every other industry in the country. This shouldn't be a problem for Biden. Even since his necessary pivot to treat the coronavirus with the seriousness it deserves, President Trump still can't stop stoking the ire of the media and publishing tirades on Twitter. The chaos of the Trump administration in the coronavirus panic justifies the entire ethos of the Biden campaign, with the former vice president issuing

The word "diversity" appears 32 times in the coronavirus relief bill House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) unveiled on Monday. Pelosi released her plan as critics questioned the priorities of Democratic lawmakers facing the China-caused pandemic. Senate Democrats voted Sunday to block a coronavirus stimulus package worth up to $1.8 trillion, and continued voting down procedural motions on the bill Monday. Democrats in the upper chamber were reportedly upset that the legislation does not do enough to increase fuel-emissions standards for the airline industry or to provide additional tax credits to promote wind and solar energy.

Those of us trying to predict what direction the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic will take in the United States have been paying close attention to reports from Italy. And until Sunday, the outlook there kept going from bad to worse. For nearly two weeks after the Italian government imposed a nationwide lockdown on March 9, the daily number of coronavirus deaths mounted rapidly. On Friday, it was reported that 627 Italians died from the disease, as the country’s cumulative death toll passed 4,000. This was shocking, but then on Saturday, Italy reported that 793 more people had died from the virus.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi introduced her own emergency coronavirus stimulus bill on Monday, leading furious Republicans to argue that much of the proposal contained a progressive wishlist seemingly unrelated to the crisis -- including several provisions that amount to a resurrection of the notorious "Obamaphone" program, GOP officials said. The bill proposed by Pelosi, D-Calif., additionally seeks to eliminate debt held by the U.S. Postal Service, require same-day voter registration, pay off $10,000 in student debt per person, mandate that airlines reduce their overall carbon emissions by 50 percent by 2050, and force federal agencies to explain to Congress how they are increasing their usage of "minority banks."

Instead, for the past decade, insurance premiums have skyrocketed while coverage options have declined. Clearly, this anniversary is no cause for celebration. Proponents of Obamacare point to increased rates of insurance coverage as proof the law achieved its goals. They also leave out the fact that Medicaid expansion initially cost more than $6,300 per enrollee — and that the program
