CNN anchor John King snapped on air Friday over a testy exchange President Donald Trump had with NBC White House Correspondent Peter Alexander during a White House press briefing. The president told Alexander that he was a “terrible reporter” after Alexander asked what Trump would tell Americans who are scared about the coronavirus pandemic. “It was a perfectly valid question and what the president did to Peter Alexander is reprehensible,” King said. Real journalism is dead. Media wants to create news rather than reporting news. Trump was correct in saying that media wants to be sensational, probably in order to attract readers or viewers who want sensationalism and react to it. I chose to ignore the media's narrative and respond to FACTS from credible sources.

I wholly agree with the commentator who advised the President to eliminate the fulminators and haters from the daily Chinese virus updates. That means, of course, no so-called press. Deliver the necessary messages from team without the gratuitous nonsense from that peanut gallery. This goes double for the ChiCom News Network.

Do reporters take notes, or is there something in the water that is causing them a short-term memory problem? After days of Trump speaking to the American, including a two-hour press conference yesterday, the question "what would you tell the American people?" was either intended to be insulting, or more likely, an imbecilic query by a reporter who has done no reading or research, and is less prepared than a third-grader to be asking questions. In a courtroom, the question would be followed by the following: "Objection, Your Honor. Asked and answered. About a hundred times now." To which the Court would respond, "Sustained. Counsel, please move on to a new subject."

I'd say if CNN doesn't fire John King from the network - completely - this would cement what most people know: It is CNN that operates within the rubric of that remark and CNN is grossly unprofessional. My comment here isn't about Trump; it's about King and the fact that he had no reason to speak that way on-air - his characterization, and his choice of word is, even today, so far out of bounds for the decorum his profession demands that he should be gone. No apologies accepted, either. Those are phony. Fire him, please.

The only thing that NBC wants is more panic and people watching their stupid 24/7 bull. President Trump is telling everyone that there is light at the end of this tunnel. There is a very good chance of a possible cure and prevention. Then the munchkin Dr. Fauci gets up and puts a dark cloud on it. This man is really crazy and President Trump, if you hear me. Please put this clown in a closet now. Let Dr. Brix speak for him. She provides a clear understanding of what is really going on. Dr. Fauci throws water on any idea. He is getting his 15 minutes of fame and he know once this is over he will have to go back into his closet at NIH.

The reporter was told to ask that trite question and they ask it when there is nothing more to say, but have to keep the conversation going. It's a touchy-feely one, something Barbara Walters would ask in all seriousness like... "What's your favorite tree?" How many times have you watched a ballplayer being asked, "Tell us your feelings when you hit that walk-off home run?" What do you think he's going to say... "I felt like crap!" So this reporter, thinking that a busy and P.O.'ed Trump is going to say something comforting, walks right into it. Beautiful! Here's another example. I remember Bill Parcells, one time coach of the NY Giants and a no nonsense guy got a post- game question from some sports reporter. Coach replied, "That's a stupid question! Next!" Loved it!

#7, Dr. Birx would have said exactly what Dr. Fauci said - in fact, she said the same thing yesterday - that it was necessary to establish protocols to evaluate the medication- that there was limited anecdotal evidence about the medication's effectiveness against the (chinese) virus, and it had to be tested. Dr. Fauci is not a clinician - he is a pure research kind of guy, and they tend to be different. The reporter, Peter, was not looking for clarification. He was trying to insult the President.

It was a legitimate question. Like it or not, people are scared. Businesses are closing, the stock market is tanking, people with pre-existing conditions don't understand how vulnerable they may be. This was Trump's opportunity to do a "We have nothing to fear but fear itself" moment. He blew it. Why couldn't he have taken the chance to speak directly to the American people and tell them that he and the task force are working to minimize the damage and inconvenience, and if they follow suggestions to self-isolate this can be over in a matter of weeks?

John King is your typical elitist fool posing as a reputable journalist on arguably the most bias news agency in this country. CNN along with other corrupt news agencies have propagated fear and misinformation related to the COVID-19 virus in order to create panic among the population. Been to the grocery store lately? They don't want to bring Americans together during this crisis, it their mission to destroy President Trump no matter what the cost. To them President Trump and his task force can doing nothing right. Remember when the media referred to President Trump as a racist for forbidding flights from China into our country weeks before other countries took action. Oh, and how it's racist for him to refer to COVID-19 as the "Chinese Virus". The reporter that asked this question at today's new briefing had a motive, and it was to sensationalize in order to criticize the administrations response to the virus. Certain media outlets in this county are truly the enemy and CNN is at the top of the list!

It’s not that the question was out of bounds, it was that President Trump has repeatedly been answering it for weeks saying that the health and safety of the American people is his first priority and is the first priority of his team of medical scientists. Every time Trump answers such a question his answer in human terms is a little bit different as the daily situation evolves, which gives the media a basis to create fear mongering controversy. The liberal media is out of touch with reality if they really believe that the US Government could stockpile 350 million diagnostic medical tests to immediately distribute across the country and test every American at a moment’s notice for diseases that have not yet been discovered. Remember with such a contagious virus, a person could test negative today, and then test positive a few days later for the virus. To get such varied results from all Americans, governments at all levels would have to have in stock about 700 million tests and an army of people trained to give and accurately read the test result. The Trump team is doing it right leaving the decision to test individual Americans in the hands of their doctors.

That’s going to get worse. But the president of the United States is from New York City, and he will not lift a finger

Anthony Fauci, M.D., the 79-year old head of the National Institute of Allegy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), has become the #1 point man on the government’s role in the coronavirus crisis. Fauci has worked for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) his entire professional life. In the past, for more than two decades starting in the mid-1980s, he was the medical establishment’s face of HIV-AIDS – omnipresent on television when AIDS was hot and ever present at international AIDS conferences well into the 21st century. Always, he was an enthusiastic advocate of throwing more federal money at the problem of AIDS. He's widely praised in the press.

Our concern about Donald Trump in the campaign of 2016 was not about his personal morals. ... It feels increasingly like Americans are watching execution of a plan to take down America as a constitutional republic, and Trump as president, fed by a CIA-type psychological assessment of Trump that bet on his ‘go big’ instincts that are untethered by a deep ideological understanding and appreciation for what truly makes America exceptional and great.

Joe Biden reached a new and heady milestone when he shellacked Bernie Sanders in Florida, Illinois and Arizona to become the de facto Democratic nominee for president. But there was no soaring speech to acknowledge the moment. He never took the stage amid a sea of Biden signs or before an adoring crowd on national television. Biden was instead stuck in a makeshift studio in his Delaware home, webcasting his remarks with a low-quality personal computer camera against a straight-out-of-YouTube black backdrop and two American flags. He warned about the coronavirus contagion. He offered an olive branch to Bernie Sanders. Then, despite two consecutive weeks of smashing victories,

Homeowners who have lost income or their jobs because of the coronavirus outbreak are getting some relief. Depending on their situation, they should be eligible to have their mortgage payments reduced or suspended for up to 12 months. Federal regulators, through the mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, are ordering lenders to offer homeowners flexibility. The move covers about half of all home loans in the U.S. — those guaranteed by Fannie and Freddie. But regulators expect that the entire mortgage industry will quickly adopt a similar policy. Under the plan, people who have suffered a loss of income can qualify

Calls are increasing for cable networks to stop airing President Donald Trump’s press conferences live as critics believe Trump is turning White House news briefings into virtual campaign rallies that can “get people killed” with lies about the Coronavirus crisis. The pressure only increased after Trump’s Friday briefing. The Atlantic’s James Fallows believes the attention-starved Trump is turning the press conferences into “virtual campaign” rallies and Trump would actually lose interest in showing up if the media did not cover the briefings live.“Also, as a practical matter, if the briefings were no longer covered live, Trump would lose interest in attending himself,” Fallows argues.

As the novel coronavirus works it way through the United States, many Americans have seen their savings dwindle as the stock market continues its unprecedented free fall. But for a handful US senators, the crisis was cause for a windfall. That’s because Richard Burr and Kelly Loeffler, both of whom were briefed for weeks as the coronavirus approached America, decided it was a good idea to use their inside information to dump over a million dollar in stocks. Sens. Diane Feinstein and Jim Inhofe also sold significant amounts of stock.

Joe Biden is planning a regular shadow briefing on coronavirus to start as early as Monday to show how he would handle the crisis and address what he calls the lies and failures of President Trump. Biden gave a preview of what’s to come in a conference call with reporters Friday, where he listed a litany of false and misleading statements from Trump, who has been holding regular White House press conferences concerning coronavirus preparedness and response that have been broadcast live on all major networks. “President Trump stop saying false things, will ya?” Biden said. “People are worried they are really frightened,
