President Donald Trump officially earned the delegates required to be the Republican nominee on Tuesday. After winning the primaries in both Florida and Illinois on Tuesday night, the president passed the delegate threshold of 1,276 required to win the nomination.The president has dominated Republican primaries in 2020, earning more votes in many states than previous presidential incumbents. The Republican convention begins on Monday, August 24 in Charlotte, North Carolina, which will officially make Trump the 2020 Republican presidential nominee.

Oops...#1, I voted here in FL today (closed primary) and there were four names on the ballot. One of the three cranks was Weld, the others two guys I had never heard of.

I just loved the opportunity to vote for President Trump again in the CA primary. I wanted to go vote harvesting so I could do it some more, but TK wouldn't let me. I never thought there would be a downside to him being our precinct's election inspector.

On Monday Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, announced that the first trial vaccine for the coronavirus is now being tested. The trial taking place in Seattle, which has been a hotbed for COVID-19. The test includes 45 people age 18-55 and they are receiving two injections, one at zero days, one at 28 days. The individuals will then be followed for one year. The trial results is still months away.
