Far too many voices on both the right and left are arguing that Joe Biden's recent success is a repudiation of Marxism.
This is so fantastically wrong that it is a little surprising how often we're seeing and hearing it this week. (Snip) These views that Marxism was somehow repudiated are dangerously naïve, misread what happened, and underestimate just how much that radical Marxist philosophy has already shaped the Democrat party.

Here is the essay that brought down Soviet Communism, referenced by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn in his 1978 Harvard Commencement address: Written by the brilliant Russian mathematician Igor Shafarevich, posits that Socialism is an historic phenomenon, and always has had as its end the same goal: the death of the human race: https://www.robertlstephens.com/essays/shafarevich/001SocialistPhenomenon.html#pagestart_270

Biden has no political compass. he doesn't stand for anything. Biden has no moral compass. He is corrupt.
His policies will follow the money. Right now there are many big-money radicals out there that believe in Socialism. People like Bloomberg, Steyer, and Soros are far from finished, and somebody like Biden will only too happy to take their money and implement their wishes.

While Sanders is an obvious socialist/communist and makes no pretense of hiding his revolutionary desires for America, Biden and most of the other Dems are only barely less radical - they are just less honest than Sanders.

The democrats have always held a fascination and gaga-eyed envy of Old Europe. Look at the actions of Europeans since WW I (the big one) and you will see countries falling all over themselves trying to convince the people that if they just go along with their governments and trust that the rest of the world has their best interests at heart then everything will be grand. Embrace climate change, immigration, poor medical care, loads of benefits for all, nanny state supervision of your entire life, rejection of all religion and Utopia is right around the corner. The democrats have swallowed not only the hook, line and sinker of Socialism but the rod, reel and most of the fisherman's arm. To get an accurate glimpse of American twenty years into a future Socialist environment, just look at France, Germany, Spain or any once-former prosperous continental society. Oh, you can't, the media no longer covers their pain and suffering because it does not fit the narrative.

It is a victory for the swamp establishment.
That is why they are coalescing so beautifully....even across uniparty lines.

Thank you for that link, #2. Very eye-opening logic.
"The death of mankind is not only a conceivable result of the triumph of socialism--it constitutes the goal of socialism."
The essay illustrates nicely the complete lack of humanity and the insanity behind the idea of socialism - for those intelligent enough to even understand what is going on underneath the surface. First, the individual, beginning in childhood, must be broken down and convinced to become a cog in a machine, then the machine is easy to manipulate and destroy.

What we are seeing is the newest version of bait and switch from the democrats. They know that Biden is mentally feeble, but this gives them the chance to slip their real candidate into the WH as VP. We are witnessing the greatest and most brazen attempt at fraud they have ever tried. Gonna be an interesting convention in Wisconsin.

Keep your eye on who is selected as VP for both Biden and Sanders. Especially Biden, who will be used to try winning the election, but then soon forced to step down, due to his condition. In fact, for either case, they will be voting for the VP!

The dem party is constituted of about 35% hard core socialists and more that would be happy to follow socialism if it could win control. The later portion might prefer Bernie but don't believe he can win a general election. Therefore, they support Biden and plot how they can stealthily implement Socialism behind the scenes. The Socialist portion of the party has been growing and represents a significant influence on the party.
Unfortunately, voters form allegiances to parties and continue to follow them long after the party has morphed into something they don't like. They just can't believe it and don't look closely. The media has played a major role in quieting doubts, covering up and lying to calm concerns.
One good thing about the radical gulf between Trump and the dem Socialists is that the contrast is so great that some dems are now questioning WHAT the dem party is. The answers they are getting are not reassuring to them. There has been no victory over Socialism but there is an EXPOSURE of it's significant presence in the dem party and what that could mean to the Country. The infestation of the dem party may be terminal but not necessarily for the Country.

There isn't an eyelash of difference between Bernie and Biden.
