You would have thought that the vibe at CPAC this year would involve stressing about our November election prospects, but even as the market dipped over the coronavirus scare the general consensus was that whether we face Vermont Stalin or that miserable monied midget, we got this.
The common image of conservatives is one of dour pessimism, but that is less due to some inherent doom-mongering on the right than to the decades of failure by Conservative Inc. Under the wise, steady guidance of our establishment betters, all we did was lose, but Donald Trump gave the cons a taste of winning, and they like it.

Great attitude, be confident but keep working hard to make it happen. We don't want to just win. We want to win YUGE.
The dems are showing weakness in almost all their identity groups. The result will be depressed turnout and defections to Trump. The dem leadership panic isn't coming out of thin air. Their internal polls show Trump winning big. They know if they cheat Bernie again, they will detonate his followers. Even if they follow that path, the other candidates aren't winners either.
However, when you are dealing with people willing to do anything to win, you have to expect it and be ready for it. Trump has shown amazing readiness and resilience and that is very encouraging.

Republicans don't always lose, but even when they win they refuse to govern. They don't make anything better. They just maintain the staus quo set up by the democrats. They increase spending and eliminate freedoms just like the democrats. I hope I don't live long enough to see this once great country fail, but both parties seem totally focused on making that happen. President Trump is a brief reprieve, but he will be replaced in five years and it will probably be with a business as usual corruptocrat.

I think it depends on the Dem candidate. I believe that the dems will not go "all in" for Bernie. They know it would be the demise of their party. However, I think they would go "all in" for Biden because he is a puppet and easily controlled - enter Deep State.
By "all in" I mean cheat, steal the election.

Even after Trump won fair and square they refused to accept it and tried to make up seven ways till Sunday why he couldn't govern. Remember, just a little more vote fraud in Cleveland, Milwaukee, Detroit and Philadelphia and we would be under President Hillary! Loss of freedom is but an election away.

The Dems realized long ago that winning elections fair-and-square was not going to propel them down the Shining Path. They're taking the long way - adding bits and pieces to insure the proper results - opposing voter ID (which is raaaacist!), over-registering in critical counties, ballot harvesting, motor voter registration and early voting. Not to mention the more blatant "Oh, I just discovered sacks of uncounted ballots in my trunk!" approach. They have demonstrated a blatant disregard of moral behavior in every area, believing that the means justify the ends. We must beware - they will do what they feel they must to win.

I really cannot stand the Republican Party. It is ninety nine percent fake, phony, power hungry. It is Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnell and the embedded deep state. They had a chance to clean house and for two years, they "investigated" then watched like cows watching a passing train, watched the innocent lives that they helped ruin remain destroyed (Rio Lindans, that would be Carter Page, et al). Now, they act as if following the Constitution was their idea and if it weren't for them, Trump would have never won, all the while their actions do nothing but betray Trump and the Constitution. But their words titillate, or at least attempt to. They still ignore the will of the the voters while claiming "concern." I'm going to gladly vote for Trump THEN don my bright fluorescent green plastic clothespin and vote GOP down ballot, knowing, expecting that they will continue to do everything they can to keep the deep state and its criminals rewarded. "At least they're not Marxists" is the ONLY campaign slogan that is true and why I'll clothespin my nose to vote for them down ballot. Yes, Rio Lindans, I am thoroughly disgusted with the Republican Party.

In my three-quarter of a century visit to this world, I have recall of 13 US presidents. I even remember a long time ago when some of the democrat presidents actually loved our country (Truman, Kennedy). I recall the beating the democrats took with McGovern in 1972 when he managed 37% of the popular vote, and won 17 electoral votes from DC and Massachusetts. But I do not recall a time when the democrats were as emotionally defeated as they seem to be this year. Still, we need to approach this election like Trump is five down in the polls, and show up in force for our president and all republicans down the ballot.

Ballot harvesting scares the stuffing out of me. It ain't won till it's won. There is a very healthy I Hate Trump mentality out there that will do anything to win. Conservatives will have to come out bigger than we ever have before.

Politics always has been and always will be a filthy dirty business. Both sides are stinky but the left is a cesspool. The Trump campaign knows this better than anyone else. Who better than President Trump to have as our leader in chief.

They have no guilt about nor remorse for cheating they have reconciled it with being for the greater good, to them they are saving those that just don't know any better, in fact they consider it a noble endeavor.
They also know no matter how red handed they get caught, or how egregious the cheating is nothing will be done about it and the results of the election will not be changed.

In the immortal words of Yogi Berra, "It ain't over, until it's OVER".
Overconfidence is our worst enemy. The SWAMP will do everything it can to overturn Mr. Trump's efforts to root them out. The media will drum up some new charge to run ad infinitum using "anonymous" (read: WE MADE IT UP) sources with no merit, and the fraud of "harvested" mail-in absentee ballots is still out there.
Ballot integrity, voter intimidation, paying of "walking around money" and the like are STILL out there and will be played out with a vengeance, so "it ain't over yet"!!! Far from it....
Only a LANDSLIDE re-election of Mr. Trump and a turnaround in the US Congress, State Governorships, State Legislatures, and the national Judiciary, TERM LIMITS and wins of LOCAL candidates will have the strength of the National WILL can turn things around, and that is monumental effort.
Christians voting their values would make a HUGE difference-- otherwise, that values of those who would create chaos and anarchy will prevail.

Boy, I’m with you, #14. We all know the who, when, where and how of dem vote fraud, and yet no one does anything about it. It’s become a joke, a meme, a tshirt and bumper sticker. Where are Republican poll watchers? Where are our version of the Black Panthers? Where’s the legislation? Where’s the national campaign from the RNC? It’s all done in the wink-wink, nudge-nudge fashion, and then it’s laid in OUR laps to “vote like your life depends upon it!” We’ll, we do that, and they still cheat and win, so now what?

I'm most afraid of Bloomberg's money. He already financed the Dems' 2018 take back of the House (100 million dollar donation) and the Dems in Trump areas supporting impeachment (another 100 million dollar donation). The problems are, in many areas, a million dollar campaign fund in a House race almost guarantees a win and, in the actual presidential election, the hundreds of millions in ads, convince many people that whatever the ads claim, is true. We are in for one heck of a fight.

Vote harvesting; allowing felons to vote; motor voter. These have done wonders for democrats where they've been used so far - see Orange County, California in the 2018 mid terms, or California (motor voter), or Virginia (felons voting). Florida is going to have 1.5 million felon votes to harvest and have legalizing pot on the ballot (to bring out the youngsters).

Like the others, Schlichter fails to see the potential of a "moderate" third-party, offering a middle lane for those who detest extremism and conflict, providing "moderates" who long for tranquility and "good government" an easy choice between a crazy, a coot or a communist. And the perfect man for the job would be Mitt Romney...the principled Republican, a man of conscience, a family man, a man who saved the Olympics and all that. He was even a gentlemanly candidate once vetted by those who would now scorn him for acting honorably in prayerfully weighing the evidence and rendering a verdict.
Neither the GOPe or DEMe, aka the UNIPARTY, would mind a Romney administration. Mitt's a profiteer just like them, a member of all the right clubs. Once elected, banishing the extremists, calm would prevail across the land...and wonderful bi-partisan things would get done.
Stand by for August and September. Dump Trump is far, far from over.

The "moderates" think good government is good government OF THEM. I think conservatives should understand it as good government BY themselves - an informed electorate selecting leaders carefully, and resisting those who seek to set parts of society against other parts. An informed electorate needs sources of information that offer diverse viewpoints that compete for legitimacy in the marketplace.

The cons?? This writer knows nothing about the power of the pen and how to use it.
Anyway, the DemonRats will definitely cheat. They spend all of their effort and time planning, scheming, coordinating and implementing ways to manipulate the system, change the rules/laws, commit fraud on every level, and use major areas of influence to control the outcome of the elections. We need to organize OUR efforts to oversee every area of the election process to ensure the Democrats do NOT get away with their usual cheating.

People that care truly care about the future of our nation must overwhelmingly come out to vote this November. Not only must President Trump be reelected, but Republicans must to take back the House and increase the majority in the Senate. GET OUT AND VOTE!

#14, because WTP do not get off our proverbial butts and take action. We sit on our couches and complain about the corruption but do nothing ourselves to stop it. We don't organize. We don't personally get involved. We keep hoping or expecting someone else to save us--which will NEVER happen. Only We The People can save ourselves. Unfortunately, too many of us are complacent, lazy, or self-absorbed and won't get out there are work on this. We make excuses...we are too busy...or we don't know what to do...or it's too big of a problem...etc. What we forget is that one person CAN make a big difference!! If each of us did something, anything, no matter how small, we could turn the tides in our favor. But all of us must act. We cannot look for a savior. They do not exist. The left all get involved. Why don't we? Let's all DO IT!!!
