In a recent interview with 60 Minutes, former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg tried to describe the political scene:
A few years ago, there was a revolution against the intelligentsia. People said, “You know, those people, particularly on the coasts, are trying to tell us what to do.” They wanted a change. That explains Donald Trump. Now, people seem to have changed. This cycle, people want stability.
Have they changed so much? Bloomberg thinks the tides are turning in his direction. I’m not so sure on either count. If people wanted the intelligentsia, if they wanted someone on the coasts telling them what to do, Elizabeth Warren

Isn't that how NR went full Never-Trump and became irrelevant?

Great summation of Fauxchahontas. Nothing about her was real. Except her eternally back outfits with colored sweaters. (Who dresses like that!?)

With her gone there will be a bit of an anger and indignation gap in the Dem candidate ranks. However, it's quite likely that Bernie can fill that void!

I will miss the long flaying arms and all the lies. It seems as though the only policy for the future the democrats have is free stuff. They have no ideas on how to solve problems other than to buy votes by giving things away. And none of them have a way to pay for it. Good riddance.

She always reminds me of one of those giant, inflatable and scary looking balloon monsters -waving and bowing at a used car lot.

The confusion of the left is that they equate intelligence to university affiliation. The truth, however, is that college degrees are no longer earned, they are purchased or "awarded" and are not worth what they were forty years ago. Lizzy was hired by Harvard on a big lie and everybody knows it. Journalists, of course, are clueless to the difference. Barack Obama slithered into the White House on similar promises because people were not conditioned to look for such blatant lies. He made huge promises and was not even asked about the cost. Heads were filled with the prospect of great health care and $2.5K a year in savings. He lied on both counts when Zerocare flunked both the quality test and the cost test. Instead of a President they got a golf and vacation specialist. Even democrats are not dumb enough to fall for that twice. Lizzy and Bernie are using an old strategy in a new environment and only the extremely gullible would fall for it again.

It's true the Dems are using an old tactic to lure voters, but the followers of Bernie and Liz are for the most part younger voters who don't have the decades old experience of hearing the same lies over and over again. To them, it's new. Even Obozo is old news.

Today, the race for the VP slot begins.
Without a clear favorite, the has beens will have to pick sides to help take out one or two of the top three candidates. I personally feel that Bloomberg is the strongest candidate to win the moderate vote. I just don't see Biden as viable and Sanders only appeals to the extreme left.

Her dreadful commercials began to show in Southern California a few days ago. We will probably have to suffer through them until Tuesday. Garish colors, her at her shrieking, gesticulating, hectoring worse. Invoking Obama. A mess.

Hmmm, I wonder if the 'Woman With A Million Plans' had a plan for this circumstance? Probably, like badgering Goofy Biden or Comrade Bernie for the VP slot.

Goodbye, Lizard. Goodbye, PeteButt too.
So many of the Democratic candidates for President seem to be emulating Bolshevik Bernie Sanders. That's not going to work. Why vote for the lookalike when they can get the real thing? The Fake Injun and Mrs. PeteButt found that out the hard way. Both are imploding. The only Democratic candidate that stands out, but not in a good way, is Bernie Sanders. The rest have nothing new to offer. Why vote for them? The only real alternatives for Democrats that don't want Sanders are Befuddled Biden or President Trump. Biden is a really lame choice that probably attracts lifelong Democrats that don't want anything new. Have to imagine President Trump is picking up many Democrat voters.

Remember the intrigue 4-5 years ago wondering if she'd challenge Hillary for the nomination? There was a time when I though she could be a real threat to a Republican candidate.....but once I paid attention.....I became nauseous.

Even before Warren entered the race there were a few articles on her by actual reporters.
Discussions with her ex-colleagues revealed that she was hardly the socialist kleptocrat she pretended to be. Why she adopted this persona is a mystery except that like most persons of weak character and morals she concluded she could not be herself and must be someone else. It wouldn't be the first time.
Her personality was, unfortunately, more consistent at home and at work ie she was a condescending bwitch. She fired a long string of house cleaners and no doubt referred to them as 'the help.'
She was/is apparently famous for leaving Post-It Notes to herself everywhere. We all need the occasional reminder but do we want someone this forgetful dealing with nuclear codes and such?
Finally, the most inscrutable mystery: why Warren and the media believed she had any prayer of becoming president. The look. The clothes. The personality. And that horrible voice. Warren was the equivalent of sliding a can of Alpo onto a plate and serving it as the Thanksgiving entree. The media actually pretended it was worthwhile to discuss who would get which part of the can of Alpo was most appealing ie they treated her as if she wasn't annoying quivering-voiced harridan. Yankees are a tough sell nationwide (which is why the Bushes pretended to be from the South), female Yankees even more so.
Note that none of this mentions her Indian misadventures. She was a horrible candidate and is a horrible person with or without her high cheekbones and fatuous claims.
