Coronavirus Will Sink the American Economy

If the economy were in the dumps before Coronavirus hit, I'd be concerned over the stock market recovery. As it is, Trump's economy is pumping along very nicely indeed and this dip will be a blip in history before long. On that note, it is a fantastic time to buy stocks, to look on the bright side, as the USA will easily recover from this slight knock. As for the American healthcare system, I can tell you that since I now reside in the UK I would feel a whole lot better about my healthcare during this time if I were back in the states. The lucky people over on this side of the pond will be the first patients to contract the virus as there will plenty of services available to them. The longer this goes on and the more people get sick I can see this going south very quickly over here. As an asthmatic, I'll knock on wood that I never have to find out for myself! Add to this our porous border situation and proximity to Europe...it really could reach pandemic levels here. Thankfully Trump had the foresight to shut down air travel from East Asia so early on. Not that it matters to the Dems, they'll crucify him regardless.

Hopefully everyone saw the correction coming for the last 3 weeks. When the Industrial Heartland of China shut down and stayed shut down, it became obvious that cell phone and automobile production would come to halt. And, hopefully you have stockpiled any medications that you are dependent on. I hope you will not require antibiotics for the next few months. And, my prayers are with all the insulin dependent Americans including my daughter. It will be 3 months before the Chinese get back to full production.Whether the Chinese will still be a united country in 2 years is now open to question. But, this is a SPUTNIK moment for Americans. We allowed a Production Gap in strategic. Particularly in the area of vital medicines, this must not be allowed to stand. The Collapse of Chinese Production is a Warning to US. I pray we learn from it.

The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), was formed from the "evolutionary socialism" remnants of the old SDS after the direct-action revolutionaries split off and formed the Weather Underground. The DSA used to have a white paper on their web sites proudly proclaiming their strategy for imposing socialism on the American people. They would run DSA members clandestinely in Democrat primaries until they reached a critical mass within the Democratic Party. Then they would get one or their secret members elected president as a Democrat. At that point, secretly in control of both the presidency and the Democratic Party, they would impose a Marxist socialist system in America. The DSA has succeeded in secretly taking over the Demccratic Party. Barack Hussein Obama was (is) a DSA member. And the only difference between Bernie Sanders and the rest of the Democrat candidates is that Bernie is open and honest about his Marxist ideology, whereas the rest of them lie about it and keep it hidden. Think of socialism as the "commievirus". It has definitely become pandemic in our universities and is actively being spread now by the Democrat Party. Luckily, President Trump has arrived just in time to halt its spread. Also, #2 is exactly right about rebuilding our strategic manufacturing capacity for vital goods, including medicine, so we are not so dependent on China. We have fallen into that trap for the sake of low prices. This is a warning that it could be a fatal mistake if we don't have the ability to provide those medicines and other goods ourselves..

It's actually the last 100-year push toward socialism that has harmed and will further harm America. The fuse was lit during the Woodrow Wilson days when European leftists first began to infiltrate American politics. The stock market has been looking for an excuse to correct for over a year. The virus was fit for purpose. Whether you believe conspiracy or not, the market doesn't care.

America needs to get away from being dependent on one country. It is called, "Don't Put Your Eggs In One Basket" but we taxpayers and wage earners gave away too much. Democrats, liberals and RINO's took advantage of it.

Successive plagues killed off about 30% of Europe in the Dark Ages. Why? Poor nutrition had already 'compromised' the health of most of the population. They were malnourished. It was during the Little Ice Age, after all. And they had no knowledge of anti-sepsis, among other health problems. Coronavirus, Covid 19, is respiratory. It will do its worst damage where respiratory systems are compromised... like in the land of the 'airpocalypse'. Further, you can't tell me people are eating birds, bats and snakes because good food is plentiful. I believe this indicates malnourishment. Finally, read about the conditions in Wuhan in the American Thinker Article, (https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2020/02/wuhan_revisited.html). In short, they live in filth, eat filth and breathe filth. None of this is the case here. Not to brag, I had pulled out of some of my more speculative, profitable, positions about 6 weeks back and placed limit orders just in case stocks dropped. All have filled. I agree with those who say the market should be going up. And, of course, the Democrats will have no memory of their panic once this is (soon) over. Like they don't recall that their leaders were criticizing Trump for travel restrictions on Covid 19 area visitors instituted at the end of January.

Apparently the NeverTrumpers are hoping the virus does the job before they even have a chance. If they can tank the economy before they rework everything to make us socialist, then nobody can blame the socialism for the economic trainwreck.

RE: Democratic Socialism - beware as it is just another con game. After WWII when Germany was occupied by 4 countries' armies, the eastern section was occupied by the USSR army. It was called East Germany, but the official name was DDR which translates into Deutsche Democratisch Republik. [German Democratic Republic.] Of course, there was nothing democratic about it. It was pure communism with those in charge having all the power and most of the money. Beware of the secret service, the Stasi! We cannot allow these communists to call their movement democratic socialism. It sounds warm and fuzzy. In reality it is pure totalitarian.
