Amazes me how these west coast types think we look to them for guidance on anything. We have lives to live and most of us are not overpaid people pretending to be something we are not. We work. On Monday I will do what I do on a routine basis. I will stop at the grocery on the way home, fill the car up with gas and probably do a bit of online shopping to purchase a few items. And just for the hell of it I think I will purchase something I do not need but just might want to tick this loon off. They are hoping for the coronavirus to spread, the stock market to continue to fall, a recession or a depression would be even better. And while they have millions tucked away and will not lose anything if these horrible incidents do happen they will cheer on disaster. I say instead of not making any purchases go shopping. However, lets boycott the losers involved in the entertainment industry. What an ignorant bimbo.

I dare say I know lots of people who don’t make purchases in any given 24-hour period, myself included. I doubt her paltry number of followers (for a so-said celebrity) not buying anything would make a difference.

If all it took to shut down the US economy was for 146,000 people NOT to buy something for a day, we'd be sunk by now. It wouldn't make a dent--even if Miss Arquette's followers were 100% compliant with her idiot plan.

Democrats and liberals are always good at telling what people should do and say. Yet, do any of these people lift a finger to help with America's problems. I am talking about the heavy lifting and deep cleaning that needs to occur. Or is that out of their pay range? I guess only "deplorables" should be doing the less than desirable chores. The person that comes to mind is the gentleman who is cleaning the streets of San Francisco and surrounding area. I don't remember his name but I am certain he is encountering some very unhealthy situations. There are people who want to blame all of this coronavirus on Donald Trump. I tell you what - there are a lot of schools, businesses, government buildings, etc. that could use a deep cleaning. How about people? Are you exercising, eating right, and doing all the right things to stay as healthy as possible? Yep, blame every problem America has on one person, Donald Trump. I tire very easily of Democrats, liberals, and Never Trumpers. To all of you who fit into that category, what are you doing to improve situations?

This is really silly. I have two thoughts. The first - Just because I delay buying something for another day (before or after) does nothing to the bottom line. I still wanted something and bought it. Walmart or Amazon don't care don't care when. The second - if this were to be a big deal, the ones impacted the most will be the small businesses that may be operating on a more of a day-to-day basis. These are the ones that can ill afford some crazy scheme like this.

An abortion case has taken center stage in the nation’s highest court. The Supreme Court will soon hear a challenge to a Louisiana abortion law, which could put restrictions on doctors who perform the procedure. The law requires doctors to have admitting privileges at hospitals within 30 miles of where they’re performing the abortion. Critics have argued it would leave the state with only one abortion clinic. They also worried this case could lead the Supreme Court to overturn the landmark Roe v. Wade ruling.“What is also unique to this moment is state legislators’ willingness to express upfront why they are pushing these extreme measures,” said Fatima Goss Graves.

2020 watch: Biden’s Hollow Victory. “Bernie Sanders just lost his first primary of 2020” in South Carolina, Daniel McCarthy writes at Spectator USA. Yet Joe Biden’s victory in the Palmetto State won’t make him the clear front-runner, but only the “ ‘Stop Bernie!’ candidate.” The ex-veep, it seems, can only do well in states with large African-American populations — and thanks not to his “own skill and appeal as a politician,” but to his service with then-President Barack Obama. If Biden clinches the nomination on that basis — an unlikely prospect — it would be “tantamount to writing off the Democratic Party’s own youth activist wing”

SUMTER, S.C. — In October, Pete Buttigieg said he would do better with South Carolina’s black voters once they got to know him better. When he came back in December, he was still working on introducing himself to the black electorate. And in late January he admitted he was scared that at his rallies in South Carolina, where 60 percent of the Democratic electorate is black, most attendees were white. Those fears were borne out on Saturday, when Mr. Buttigieg was trounced in South Carolina’s primary and earned just two percent of the vote from African-Americans, according to early exit polling.

How South Carolina's African Americans vote in the White House primaries is traditionally a key indicator of which contender

Democratic candidate Joe Biden is failing. The gaffe train is moving a mile a minute and only seems to be picking up steam. During a campaign stop in South Carolina on Friday, the former VP told a crowd of supporters that he was looking forward to appointing the first African American woman to the U.S. Senate. "Well, I'm looking forward to appointing the first African American woman to the United States Senate," Biden said as the crowd erupted in cheers. Biden supporters must be so used to the candidate's gaffes by now that they are no longer fazed by them.
