Reuters reports, California is suing the Trump administration for the administration’s failure to protect endangered species in the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers. The lawsuit by the state Attorney General Xavier Becerra, the California Natural Resources Agency and the California Environmental Protection Agency filed suit on Thursday against the Trump administration in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The attorney general said in a statement, “California won’t silently spectate as the Trump Administration adopts scientifically challenged biological opinions that push species to extinction and harm our natural resources and waterways.”State officials have complained the Trump administration’s proposed rules don’t do enough to protect endangered species.

They will demand food and drinking water but stand it the way of securing those things for an entire state.
My opinion might be unpopular but are we really diminished by the demise of the dodo bird? The wooly mammoth? Even the passenger pigeon?
Species have been adapting or perishing for millions of years. I do not want to deliberately hasten the demise of any creature, but if it comes down to a fish or a human, I will pick the human. The do-gooders can move some of the fish to safer waters but no one should interfere with the growing of crops. Especially in a state with an open door policy towards the homeless and illegal aliens.

Hey Kalifornia, maybe if you protected human beings from illegal alien criminals and from being destroyed in the womb, we might listen to your complaints.

The lawyers are making a boatload of money over these stupid lawsuits. Why aren’t the judges throwing out these trivial suits?

Newsome and Becerra are an embarrassment to our great state--I'm native, born and lived here all my life. So disgusted by the hostile takeover of our state by the looney left. Only a few sane government officials still in office here. Now, these loons sue because of their own leftist laws.
Washington, here we come. Bringing our right-est views up north to help straighten our another state where the crazies are in charge.
MAGA!!! KAG!!! TRUMP 2020 AND BEYOND!!! Soon to see Cali in our rearview mirror!

We must do all we can to save the California Brown Fish whose habitat is the sidewalk of most major cities and some super market aisles...

Becerra is just another pink elephant democrat that is driving the state to bankruptcy. Having moved from CA to get away from those idiots, I expect them to run to the Federals save their silly asses when their clown show folds. State policy is the main reason for the uncontroled fires that are constantly burning off the landscape. That and water policy will almost certainly destroy the economic structure of the state and the life style and industry in CA. I will never, ever again, vote for a Democrat.

How many endangered species died because CA doesn't properly take care of wild life areas ergo forest fires?

Show us the PROOF the species are even endangered! It is highly likely fish were brought in from somewhere else and placed in the river so they had an excuse to claim 'endangered'...IF the fish live somewhere else and for some reason they now magically populate a river not in their native habitat, guess what...No DIRECT PROOF, your claim goes POOF! Given the criminal activity is a normal state of affairs for Leftists, it seems to me the mantra of 'any means to an end' is used in every circumstance. It's way past time to call these Clowns out and put them in Prison for FRAUD!

Waterways are federal not state controlled resources. They can pound sand but can't step into the shallows sans the feds permission.

But California WILL silently spectate as thousands of homeless defecate and urinate on the city streets and the doorways of businesses, driving people away....THAT's okay in their book.

Remember the book 1984? I 've always filed my copy under Fiction, but I think it needs to be relocated to Cold Hard Fact.
