After Nevada win, Bernie

After racking up a big win in Nevada, Sen. Bernie Sanders is in a commanding position in the 2020 Democratic presidential race. Though he may not yet be inevitable, we’ve reached the point where it will be hard for establishment Democrats to stop him without inflicting a great cost on their eventual nominee. Sanders arguably won Iowa, and he now has added a big win in Nevada to his victory in New Hampshire. So, there’s a case to be made that he’s already won the first three contests, and he should do no worse than second in South Carolina. He will then head into Super Tuesday on March 3

The Commucrat Convention is going to be very interesting. I wonder which dark horse candidate they're going to try to broker as the nominee?

Bernies' crime is to publicize the bedrock policies of the Democrat party. They all want the same thing but it's not supposed to be said.....until after the election.

Could CRaZy Bernie the Red's recent "success" mean that he is about to dissolve the 'democrat" party? They screwed him over in 2016, and they got quite as a church mouse with a THIRD million-dollar home, to stay quiet and let Comrade Broomstick GET AWAY WITH IT. Even poor BITE ME was a victim of the "all in for Hiterly" ruse, and he would have made a good candidate THEN. I find it very hard to believe that they have their own faction of anger at how the party is trying to take out 'their' candidate and Mr. Perez HAS LOST CONTROL of his party. WHO can save them from apparent 'will of the people' who seemingly want them to fulfill the promises of socialism they have been holding out as the glorious 'carrot' on the end of the proverbial stick?? One thing is SURE--Mr. B.S. has a message of FREE EVERYTHING which they cannot stop, and virtually everyone one of their canddiates save Bite Me and Tulsi have gone whole hog supporting it, and the Demonrat Establishment is almost unable to stop it.

I see no option other than a Hillary/Bloomberg ticket. Politically tone deaf as it sounds, look who you dealing with! The results for Democrats will be more abysmal than 2016. The only thing going for them at this point is the RINO infested Republican party who are masters at the art of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

We have yet to see a caucus or rally that the dems have held in a locale that truly represents mainstream America. Las Vegas is now mostly displaced Californians. I don't know that the results will change given that democrats are terminally stupid but when I see them becoming popular in places like Omaha or Kansas City, then it's time to be concerned about Bernie.

"A handful of people in this country (USA) are making decisions, whipping up Cold War hysteria, making us hate the Russians. We’re spending billions on military. Why can’t we take some of that money to pay for thousands of U.S. children to go to the Soviet Union?" Bernie Sanders made this statement to the LA Times in 1985 while serving as the mayor of Burlington, VT. This solidifies my belief that Sanders supporters are either low IQ millennials, morons, malcontents, moochers or a combination of the four.

Democratic presidential front-runner Bernie Sanders likes to market himself as a wise old man who just happens to have clown hair but is right about everything, such as the War in Iraq. Yet his opposition to the Iraq War was dictated not by cool-headed geopolitical calculations, but the lifelong habit of romancing American enemies — as is typical for communism-lovers. The recently surfaced press conference Sanders gave following his return from his honeymoon in Yaroslavl, USSR, is a great example of leftist naïveté about totalitarian regimes. For Bernie to fawn over Soviet culture the way he did indicates a staggering degree of incuriosity.

The D.C. establishment and their media rump-kissers went into a full-on spazz mode when President Trump continued his unbroken streak of awesomeness by appointing Ric Grenell the acting Director of National Intelligence, thereby threatening the intelligence community’s unbroken streak of failure. None of our media idiot savants – a term which is only half-accurate – thought to ponder the question of exactly how Ric’s appointment could possibly make the IC worse. Its legacy of ashes is a national embarrassment. But then, the purpose of the currently-constituted intelligence community, the foreign policy community, and every wing of our incompetent, inept, and corrupt establishment

With his sentencing this week, “agent provocateur” Roger Stone finally provoked himself into prison. However, his latest “performance art” may be nowhere near its conclusion. That is not because he has a “very good chance of exoneration,” as President Trump himself predicted. Stone has about the same chance of exoneration as he does of canonization. Rather, it is not clear that Stone received a fair trial due to alleged juror bias or, even if his trial is now finished, whether it will become undone by a presidential pardon. If nothing else, one thing should be clear. Stone holds a far greater claim to a new trial than to a presidential pardon.

Has Bernie Sanders ever lavished the kind of praise on the United States that he has heaped on the old regime of the Soviet Union, the dictators of Venezuela, or the Communist masters of Cuba? Has he ever praised the United States, period? When it comes to the United States versus its enemies, the guy is on the other side. It’s probably past time to take Sanders seriously and take a look at the kind of foreign policy he is most likely to pursue. It is certainly past time to get a clue about the deep meaning of Bernie Sanders. AEI’s Marc Thiessen and Danielle Pletka take up the subject

Washington- The US intelligence community's top election security official appears to have overstated the intelligence community's formal assessment of Russian interference in the 2020 election, omitting important nuance during a briefing with lawmakers earlier this month, three national security officials told CNN. The official, Shelby Pierson, told lawmakers on the House Intelligence Committee that Russia is interfering in the 2020 election with the goal of helping President Donald Trump get reelected. The US intelligence community has assessed that Russia is interfering in the 2020 election and has separately assessed that Russia views Trump as a leader they can work with. After his term as California governor ended and before he became president, Ronald Reagan recorded daily commentaries broadcast by about 350 radio stations and heard by tens of millions of Americans. When I listened to a collection of these broadcasts recently, it sounded like Reagan was warning us about the socialism preached by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. With Sanders’ victory in the Nevada Democratic caucuses Saturday – making him the current front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination – the words of warning from Reagan struck me as something more Americans ought to be aware of today. Throughout his nearly five-year radio run, Reagan preached that the promises of socialism were lies.

The U.S. Constitution is famously short—a mere 7,591 words, including its 27 amendments. That makes it all the more remarkable that 110 of those words have been, in effect, lost to the ages. These forgotten words form Section 2 of the 14th Amendment, which was designed to guard against the infringement of voting rights. The lost provision is simple: States that deny their citizens the right to vote will have reduced representation in the House of Representatives. I bet you’ve never heard of that part of our founding document.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s popularity has ebbed and flowed in the early presidential caucuses and primaries, so why pick on her now? Ideas have consequences, and many of Ms. Warren’s most controversial and dangerous are being advanced by other far-left and even “mainstream” candidates. Win or lose the nomination, Ms. Warren’s ideas will keep rattling around, suggests author David Bahnsen. Her flawed diagnoses of America’s problems and her batty policy proposals have influenced not just socialist Bernie Sanders, but most of the Democratic field. Survive as a candidate or not, even Ms. Warren’s wackiest plans seem destined to live on through other extreme candidates and even in some corners of polite society.
