Nevada Democratic debate was the
greatest debate in human history

Original Article

Forget Lincoln and Douglas. Forget Nixon and Kennedy. Hell, forget the Athenians and the Melians back during the Peloponnesian War. Last night’s Democratic primary slagfest in Nevada was the greatest debate in all of human history. Oh, was it glorious — the sheer raging hostility spraying across the stage as every campaign besides the Bernie Sanders and Michael Bloomberg bids face the desperate possibility each might fade into the woodwork against the Bernie surge and the Bloomberg billions. No, my friends, everybody was wearing steel-tipped boots and going right for the crotch. Those weren’t snowflakes. They were nunchucks.

You know the joke about the kid who was so ugly that his mamma hung a pork chop around his neck so the dog would play with him? That's Bloomberg, with a billion dollar pork chop. There's a reason Bloomberg didn't get into the Iowa and New Hampshire races. He has no personality and it would have been so obvious for months that even his money couldn't have bought him an entry pass. Plus it was beneath Bloomberg to spend time with the rural riff raff. The debate showcased the brokenness of the dem party. They are divided, incompetent, untalented, communists. Their history proves they have NO ability to deliver on the ridiculous promises they make. Not that I'm complaining. Their absurdity is making Trump's landslide re-election more certain by the day. That's a VERY good thing for our Country. Thanks for your contribution dems.

Great Night! The moderators actually let those on the Stage to have a Food Fight! It was very entertaining! Bloomberg looked like he was so put upon having to be on stage with the classless nobodys'! He stood there like he couldn't wait to get out of there because he didn't usually spend time around "those kinds" of people! It was comical Elizabeth came out with both guns blazing and sounded like a Shrew! I thought Bernie was going to have the Big one a couple times as he was defending himself from the Arrows coming at him! Amy did a pretty good job and Pete was not impressive IMHO! All in all, the most fun night so far when it comes to Democrat Debates! I left Joe out because it really didn't seem he was even there!

I don't have the confidence that everyone seems to have that Bernie will stay on top of the dung heap. The other dems have yet to attack him on his lifetime of corruption and theft while holding various elected positions of which he took complete financial advantage. His angry, condescending attitude is a sure sign that he would use socialism to his advantage and quickly forget the useful puppets who elect him.

Best exchange: Bloomberg quipped: “What a wonderful country we have. The best-known socialist in the company (I think transcription error, meant "country") happens to be a millionaire with three houses. What did I miss here?” Sanders: “You missed that I work in Washington.” Bloomberg then cut in: “That's the first problem.”

I made it through 4 minutes...Amy was speaking when I tuned in and being from MN I can tell you that she is slightly less honest than Warren! Plus she is mean and nasty despite the smiles on stage. Ask members of her staff! I just couldn't watch. It made my skin crawl and watching open dishonesty is really ugly and not good for the soul! Good luck to comrade Bernie! There is a surprise waiting for you in the next few weeks Bern! The DNC is about to work their "magic" with numbers again this year! Trump has got to be having a ball right now creating ads for the General Election!

I actually watched an hour of this. It was like driving past a bad car wreck. You really want to turn away but you can’t. Most of the candidates sounded like lunatics, wailing and shouting at each other, totally clueless about how unattractively juvenile they sounded. Bloomberg melted into the floor. Luckily he didn’t have far to go. All in all the most smug, repulsive bunch of grifters ever assembled in one room if you don’t count Bernie rallies.

Maybe Poddy thinks he can appeal to the Deplorables by talking kinda rough. He has no idea who we are. Never will. Like Bloomie, he is on another planet, or at least living in an isolated planet. We watched this, the only debate we’ve seen since Bret Baier and Meghan whatshername showed their true colors in 2016. Wanted to see Bloomie in the flesh. Instead we got him as another figure from Madam Tussaud’s museum. He is a wooden little bugger. The others just seemed to be trying to out-nasty each other. And these bozos see themselves as “presidential”? Most of you up the line got it so that’s enough from me… Trump 2020…MAGA - KAGA!!!

I listened to a clip of Bernie Sanders and it is very difficult to listen to him. I am not referring to him as an old and angry man. He sounds like he has a mouth full or something. Now for the content he was spewing. He was talking about socialism and wealth. Just for the fact that he is a hypocrite on this subject, I have a few thoughts on the issue of wealth. I looked at the definition of "sustain" and it fits perfectly with wealth. Wealth is sustaining; poverty is just the opposite. I find it laughable when people like Bernie stand up there and paint wealth in a bad light. Especially when it comes to Donald Trump. Hey, Bernie, can we take a look at your charitable giving? How many people have you employed? How is it that you now own two properties and are a millionaire? On a Congress salary? You are a hypocrite because I bet there are soldiers who would love to earn what you are making. Why aren't you giving up your salary and giving it to someone that makes less than you?

No, seriously, this was the most awesome, devilishly entertaining debate ever. It was like everyone's Worst Family Thanksgiving Dinner Ever with all the leftist sisters-in-law and nutball professor uncles after 3 glasses of Mad Dog 20-20. Even Saturday Night Live won't be able to fully caricature this epic. Although now I swear I can no longer tell if it's really Bernie Sanders or Larry David doing the balloon-hair ranting, or if it's Liz Warren or Kate McKinnon doing the 3rd grade prissy hall monitor arm waving to get the teacher's attention because she really really really knows all the answers. Wow. And I was so sure that it would be like this that I not only watched every minute of it, I recorded it on my DVR. This is now destined to become part of my Pantheon of Must Rewatch all-time favorites, moving ahead of Blazing Saddles, The Three Amigos, and yes, even Christmas Vacation. Thank you, God, for having such a great sense of humor and rolling Bloomberg like a little grenade into this debate.

I commented to my friend that I might want to watch the debate, and she said watch it on my computer in a back room. She didn't want to hear it no way no how. I didn't watch it. Just not that big a glutton for punishment. Sounds like DOOM never has had to defend himself, and he got his clock cleaned. He's obviously been surrounded by yes-men all his life. Does this guy have any consultants at all that can give him sound advice on how to conduct himself in a debate? I am constantly struck that he is just like the rest of the field, and spent over 300 million dollars to prove it. Not impressed. If just one of these idiots had enough sense and intelligence to differentiate themselves from the rest of the field. The other thought I keep having is none of these people have any regard for the American voter. One sees how vicious they can get towards each other, and has to wonder how they would treat the public. There is no love for the nation or its citizens. Not one of them seem to realize their policies would cause more harm than good, but do they change? Nope. These vicious cretins want to be President? No way. Btw, the way they acted in the debate won't work with Trump. Trump defends himself, and counterpunches far harder than they can punch. Neither does any Democratic candidate know how to weather a Trump attack. They would viciously attack Trump, and then squeal like stuck pigs when Trump fights back.

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

Will Joe Biden and his foreign-policy team accept the extraordinary gift Team Trump is leaving for them under the Christmas tree — or is their hatred for the president so all-consuming that they will toss it in the garbage? Normalization has proceeded so quickly, Dubai already has a kosher restaurant, and its supermarkets are stocking Israeli agricultural products festooned with Stars of David — a science-fictional sight only a year ago.

"I haven't had a chance to reflect on it," Pompeo told Bret Baier. Pompeo was referring to the May 2018 release of three Americans detained in North Korea -- all were accused of anti-state activities.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
