NEW YORK — As Mike Bloomberg celebrated his 48th birthday in 1990, a top aide at the company he founded presented him with a booklet of profane, sexist quotes she attributed to him. A good salesperson is like a man who tries to pick up women at a bar by saying, “Do you want to f---? He gets turned down a lot — but he gets f----- a lot, too!” Bloomberg was quoted in the booklet as saying. Bloomberg also allegedly said that his company’s financial information computers “will do everything, including give you [oral sex]. I guess that puts a lot of you girls out of business.”

I don't think that you realize that this is a resume enhancer for democrats. Let's face it their biggest heroes were Bill Clinton, followed by Harvey Weinstein followed by Michael Avenatti followed by every sleazeball you can name. The MeToo movement was started by a woman who said no but she was followed by the women who said yes and when it all came out regretted their choices, and I am sorry to say I really don't believe most. Because the reality is most of the ones who said no you have never heard of because they went home without the job. The rest of Hollywood is one big casting couch for men and women. Let's be honest about it and no one forces you to go to a hotel room at 2AM and if you think you are doing a reading you are just the dumb blond (so to speak) these predators are looking for. Somehow this scum now has the nerve to try to sell their moral outrage to the rest of us who actually have a brain in our heads and are shocked when we don't believe them.

Ladies, either your the rough and tough equal to men, and can do whatever they can OR you're not. Make up your minds please, cause I for one am done playing the game.

A funny little clown looking up into a woman's face and trying to talk like a tough guy would be considered pathetic in most social gatherings, even a waterfront bar. I would imagine that Bloomer's money is the only thing that gets him noticed in most places.

There is no comparison between President Trump’s one time decades ago locker room comment, mend to be private banter between him and another person, that was recorded without his approval or knowledge; and the years of publicly and workplace openly stated very sexist comments by mini Mike Bloomberg.

Between Mike's hate for women and Hillary's dislike for the "little people" (deplorables), they make a great pair. They dislike and offend just about everyone except East and West Coast Liberals and the Alphabet people (although I'm sure a sound bite will pop up soon!).

Mini Mikey has a whole book of PUBLIC gaffes he has made that will be offensive to almost every identity segment of the dem party. The internet makes every one of them public and easy pickings. It is amazing he thinks he has a shot to be president. He is spending his fortune on ads going after Trump. Trump does one drop in at Daytona and gets more positive reaction than Mikey will get all election season. Meanwhile Mikey has become a target for all the other primary viable dems and his ugly history is going to be published and called out. The dem party is a huge mess and the more we learn about Mikey the more he fits right in.

For someone who is supposed to be the DNC's savior this guy comes with a whole lot of baggage. Snarky condescending remarks about women, minorities and farmers are just the beginning. It seems that there is a long list of people he has insulted. The women in the media are dutifully fawning over him to give him a chance to beat Sanders. It is a form of prostitution.

It's hard to believe, but May 4, 2020, is the 50th anniversary of the tragic shooting at Kent State University, where Ohio National Guard troops fired on a crowd of students during a massive anti-Vietnam War protest, killing four students and injuring nine. Witnesses, military and law-enforcement experts, historians, and activists are divided on whether the shooting was justified (that's a discussion for another day), but it appears that Kent State is going all-in on pouring salt in the wounds of America's Vietnam veterans. In a move that surprised many in the Northeast Ohio area and beyond, Kent State President Todd Diacon announced that actress, activist, and (former?) communist sympathizer Jane Fonda

We have nothing against South Bend, Indiana. In fact, two members of our opinion staff were born and raised in that city. And we all know that it's no proving ground for the presidency. More generally speaking, service as a small-town mayor is not in itself sufficient training for the Oval Office. Pete Buttigieg, who served two terms as the mayor of Indiana's fourth-largest city, begs to differ. "Pragmatic and value-driven leadership — it's what mayors practice every day," he said in September. "We need a lot more of that in Washington right now.” The following month, Buttigieg said, "There’s no job

In a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Florida, the man who killed Trayvon Martin in self-defense in 2012 accused Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Elizabeth Warren of “maliciously defam[ing]” Mr. Zimmerman, using the killing “as a pretext to demagogue and falsely brand Zimmerman as a white supremacist and racist to their millions of Twitter followers.” Mr. Zimmerman was acquitted of all charges on traditional self-defense grounds, because Martin attacked him and beat his head against the ground, supposedly for profiling the black teen while on a neighborhood-watch shift.
The Message in the Trump Pardons 11 replies

Whatever other virtues might attach to the pardons issued today by President Trump, there is also this: They will remind our overwrought Democrats of one of the most far-sighted features of our Constitution. It is that when it comes to the fate of those who are, or could be, adjudged guilty of offenses against the United States, the final dispensation belongs to the President. He doesn’t even have to explain himself. That’s something to bear in mind as leftist Democrats corral former federal prosecutors to raise an alarum against Mr. Trump’s criticisms of the prosecution of Roger Stone. Or as a bevy of federal judges calls an “emergency”

Remember after the 2000 election? Democrats were baffled that the voters hadn’t given Al Gore a third Clinton term in the midst of a good economy. Never mind that President Bill Clinton never won a majority of the vote and had been impeached for covering up his defiling of a young intern in the Oval Office. To the credit of those old Democrats, at least they were slightly capable of self-awareness. This crowd today would march right down the throat of a flaming volcano if somebody told them that doing so would hurt President Trump. After months of litigating hanging chads in Florida, those old Democrats of yore wondered

In this post, I noted that the Culinary Workers Union, a big player in Nevada Democratic politics, is attacking Bernie Sanders over his “Medicare for All” proposal. I figured that these attacks would harm Sanders’s Nevada caucuses campaign. However, the Union hasn’t endorsed another candidate. Thus, to the extent that its attacks on Sanders dissuade members from supporting the Vermont socialist, these members are likely to split their vote among other candidates, thereby decreasing the harm to Sanders. Polling in Nevada seems to confirm this analysis. Sanders leads, but his lead isn’t as large as it likely would have been had the Culinary Workers Union not blasted him on health insurance.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell cited a record 11-year expansion, an economy “resilient to the global headwinds,” “near half-century lows for more than a year” regarding unemployment, and how “GDP rose at a moderate rate over the second half of last year” in his appearances before Congress last week. But his more oblique warnings about what should happen if a recession occurs came as the most interesting part of his words to the Senate Banking Committee and the House Financial Services Committee. He essentially told Congress that economic gimmickry in sunny financial times leaves policymakers with few tools to combat a recession once the clouds roll into town.
