So another coup attempt has failed.
Fact: The Russia investigation known as Spygate did not arise because the FBI and CIA thought it likely that Trump colluded with Russia -- everyone knew that was bullshit. The Russia probe and the resultant Mueller investigation were based on a false dossier paid for by the DNC. The FBI, CIA, and DoJ used these documents -- knowing full well that they were fraudulent -- in order to spy on and undermine the Trump administration. It was a coup attempt, plain and simple.
Fact: The impeachment did not arise because a principled whistleblower spontaneously came forward with a tale of a Ukraine phone call.

FTA - "My advice to the Trump administration is to act -- now! Let the Hounds of Hell loose on those bad actors who engineered these two failed coup attempts. They are the ones who truly deserve to be punished."
It's coming.
The entire matter is in AG Barr's and Durham's hands. The scope of their ongoing criminal investigation is beyond belief and is going to take a lot more time to complete. In doing so, they have to avoid contact with any life-long bureaucrats who could and would sabotage the investigation if given the opportunity. I expect a number of indictments will be handed down by mid-year. But, any criminal trials and eventual punishments will not happen until after the election. Regardless, what we are about to witness will shake the soul of the nation quite severely. Corrupt government departments including judicial that once operated by rule of law will be exposed for all to see.

I agree with Jay on this. Trump/Barr need to go after the perpetrators. The left can not learn a lesson that they are exempt from the law! Numerous people need to go to jail. Comey, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper for starters.

What I always say to people; do them like they do you! To hell with hi-partisanship! It works only for democrats. Towards the end of the Pacific Theater in WWII, American G.I.’s were fighting an enemy that fought dirty with no rules of being nice. The Americans beat the Japanese by fighting dirtier than them! The Republicans need to take off their gloves!

PDT has no Hounds of Hell to loose. Whose going to "impartially investigate"? The FBI? Any IG? Lindsey Graham? Oh, the military...right? Yeah, sure. There is no legit bench for PDT to press into service.
There are nine months, more or less, for Barr, Durham and Company to build cases and get indictments...and then the elections. Good luck with that. I suspect the bottom line is that the UNIPARTY has no interest in exposure, and its merry band of profiteers and useful idiots will dispose of this mess quietly over time. They can do this easily by manipulating the system in which they live. What will stop them?

I agree with the article and the comments above. However, most judges would lean left on the proposed prosecutions, but more importantly, there is virtually zero chance that a jury in Washington or anywhere else in USA would vote to convict the wrongdoers. Jury nullification is a reality, and it works only in favor of Democrats.

Well we are doing a lousy job. The most important information required to make rational decisions is effectively hidden behind a wall of tribalism. Step outside of your inner circle of those with whom you align politically and utter the name Skolkovo. Prepare for blank stares.
The same traitors who let Putin's right hand comrade steal hydroponic missile technology are behind the Steel Dossier Russian collusion fraud, intertwined with the Mueller investigation, behind the Ukraine quid quo pro impeachment fraud, tied to the uranium passed from Canada to Russia to Iran. And it's all public information. But you can't learn from the networks, CNN, MSNBC not even Fox.
We have become immune to the use of the word "traitor" by its frivolous use for policy the ministry of propoganda disagrees with. Meanwhile we have been betrayed by the likes of the Clinton's and Obama who were playing for the other side, as true as Benedict Arnold.

In the past, Republican Presidents who, largely, won because of the enormity of the Democrat predecessor's criminality, have refused to prosecute because," It would further divide the country... or it might seem petty and vengeful..."
What about the LAW!?
Prosecute them!! Convict them if there is evidence!! Jail them if they are found guilty!! Execute them if their crimes are dangerous enough to warrant it!!
But DO NOT let them get away with it! Where is Justice, Mr. Trump, if they are permitted to skate because of political expediency?
Their side won't like us if we do it and won't like us any better if we don't hold them to account! But they are continuously emboldened to become more and more brazen when we cowardly back down from punishing them. Investigate every last one of them and prosecute!!

The Democrats and their media allies opinions about the guilt or innocence of those being investigated or whether Trump is being 'fair' or not are irrelevant. They will trounce all over this no matter what and give more lofty speeches about Trump the Dictator but they will also know the real truth. The show is for the cameras. And they are far far more nervous about this than they will admit.

Adage from the 1960's: If I'm gonna have the name, I might as well play the game. Being part of the Basket of Deplorables, the unwashed MIddle Earth Flyover Country, the evengelicals and the still-mad-at-the-GOP contingent, I would have to tell POTUS to go for it!

What #5 says may be true about convictions but, if nothing else, all of the conspirators can get the Michael Flynn treatment - fire them and then keep the prosecutions going until they have to sell their homes and spend their savings defending themselves. Leave them with nothing except their names which will, by then, be Mudd.

What has PDJT learned from the wars in Afghanistan and the ME? That you get better results taking out the leaders one at a time. That method keeps the protests down to a minimum, compared to a mass round-up.

Turnabout is fair play. The President is now fully justified in turning the full power of the federal government against the socialists - after purging all of the Obamunists.

When are people going to jail for their involvement in the attempted coup?

If President Trump wants to unleash the hounds of hell on the coup plotters, I will stand behind him all the way. Their coup was not just against him, but also against the 63 million voters who put him in office, and that is something that cannot stand unpunished.
