Buttigieg as he falls in the polls:
Former VP says Democrats would be
'at risk' if the nominee 'never held*

Former Vice President Joe Biden upped his attacks on former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, suggesting the Democratic Party would be in peril if its presidential nominee was someone as green as the 38-year-old ex-mayor. 'I do believe we're a party at risk if we nominate someone who's never held an office higher than mayor of South Bend, Indiana,' Biden told a crowd in Manchester, gathered at the Rex Theatre Saturday afternoon. The Biden campaign also put out a new ad, which put the two candidates' records side-by-side, and was tougher on Buttigieg than the digs the former veep was deploying onstage.

Oh so he thinks experience matters to be President. But experience doesn’t matter for his son to be paid millions in the energy business. Biden was VP but he has no experience because he never did anything except have the title. Name one accomplishment he has as VP...... crickets......

Normally after every primary a couple candidates get weeded out and in the end there is one candidate left who becomes the nominee. By the time this clown show ends there may be nobody left. Every one of them may get weeded out and Trump will run unopposed.

South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg took issue with Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’ “my way or the highway” politics at Friday’s debate — but a 20-year-old essay written by Buttigieg had nothing but praise for the self-described socialist. In the early moments of the ABC-hosted debate in New Hampshire, Buttigieg warned against “my way or the highway politics” and when moderator George Stephanopoulos asked whether he was referring to Sanders, he said that he was.

He was charged with aggravated assault just hours after he allegedly drove his van into a Republican voter registration tent. (Tweet/Photo) According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Department, the tent was in a shopping center parking lot, where at least six Trump campaign volunteers were trying to help register new voters. Pete Rose posted monster numbers in his Major League Baseball career. Rose, who played from 1963 to 1986, holds major league records for games played (3,562), at bats (14,053), hits (4,256), and singles (3,215). He had a lifetime batting average of .303. Those are Hall of Fame numbers. But the player known as “Mr. Hustle” has never been inducted into Cooperstown because of a scandal that marred his post-player career. In 1989, three years after his retirement, Rose was kicked out of baseball amid accusations that he bet on baseball games while playing for and managing the Cincinnati Reds.

Joe Biden brought his “No Malarkey” tour to a New Hampshire debate stage on Friday night. But in promising to tell the truth, he accidentally exposed his own doleful (or I should say, Bob Dole-ful) prospects in Tuesday’s opening-gun primary. In his first words of the debate—the moment when candidates are usually the most scripted—Biden confessed, “I took a hit in Iowa and I’ll probably take a hit here.” It was a novel campaign strategy; few candidates ever say, “Vote for me because I’m going to lose here.” If his comments were a brief misstep in an otherwise smooth debate, it would have been one thing.

Immigration experts and House Republicans are balking at the New Way Forward Act, a Democratic bill that is being described as an embrace of “open borders” and likely to be the most “radical” legislation ever introduced in history. Democratic Illinois Rep. Jesús García, along with several other progressive House members, introduced the New Way Forward Act in December 2019, to seemingly little fanfare. The bill, among many things, calls for the decriminalization of illegal immigration, would make it more difficult to deport convicted criminal aliens, empower immigration judges to nullify deportation orders, and also calls for the return of previously deported illegal aliens.
