President Trump delivered a historic State of the Union Address on Tuesday night. Upon entering the House chamber President Trump handed Speaker Pelosi a signed copy of his State of the Union speech as is required. According to Carl Hibgie — US law requires that Pelosi preserve any official government document: [tweet] Nancy Pelosi chose to very publicly destroy the document instead. Gosh... it's an anachronistic law...and, in this case, everyone who wants to see the printed speech can find it. Her lack of decorum and rudeness .. for everyone to see... is enough of a testament of her insanity than a vote to condemn her or charge with destruction of documents. It's a "trivial pursuit" at best.

She is living in her world of hell right now. I can only imagine that she is in her own special state of insanity and that darkness for her is comforting to her. For her there is no god. Only her personal ego and quest for power which in the end means nothing. She is a very unhappy person and her outward actions show that inside she is a total bitter hateful and spiteful hopeless lost soul. She is sick mentally physically and spiritually. All the signs are there that she suffers from alcoholism. How much did she have to drink before and after the speech? Probably a lot.

The fact that she tore it up reveals several things. It was very similar to someone throwing the game board after they lose a game. There are at least three things that have to have been true for her to do it. 1. She must have felt she was fully and completely beaten. She has tried and tried to defeat PDT. Impeachment, Muller, Bad press. And he just keeps getting more popular. This speech was filled with accomplishments, any single one of which would have made any president proud. PDT did them all. 2. The stakes must be high. No one wastes big displays on small defeats. The President brought out his plans, all of which played well, and all of which are heresy to the Democrats. Same with his accomplishments. 3. She must hate him passionately. No one throws a public fit of this magnitude without having feelings only hatred can bring out. No other president reminds you so blatantly how much he has beaten you than President Trump. I believe Nasty Nan was telling the truth when she said that was the only socially acceptable display that she could have used. In spite of her using every dirty, illegal trick and the blatant help from the press, he daily accomplishes fantastic things. She must have felt like jumping on his back and screaming. Thanks for letting us know how well we are winning Nan!

Readers forget that on December 19th that Nancy said her religion prevented her from hating President Trump. Despise him, revile him, spit on him for doing such a great job for Americans, of course. But not hate him. If she hated the President, she would have set the papers on fire during the speech and not torn them up. She also made the document comfortable before her decision to terminate it

Who is responsible for enforcing the Laws? Laws that are not enforced are worth nothing. It's like having a Stop sign that every runs through or not paying your taxes. WHY is it that there won't be any consequences for what she did before the world? Trump should insist that the law is followed no matter how much foot stomping from the Democrats. Does anyone think if a Republican did something like that Adam Schiff wouldn't scream for them to pay a price? What the Speaker of the House did should not be ignored. SHE needs to pay a price!

The word "law" is meaningless. Power has supplanted law. Words matter, they are used to represent agreements. When you change a word or the meaning of a word you change the "agreement." Clearly some people are above the law but no one is above the power. The power no longer resides with the people as it once was assured by words. We have so many laws it's impossible to get through a day without breaking some law. Those with power get to decide when or when not to enforce them. The proliferation of laws, regulations and the selective enforcement of them, has facilitated creeping dictatorial power hiding under the facade of the constitutional republic. By calling laws "regulations" we don't need due process and balance of powers or a presumption of innocence. It's a way around the constitution.

Wouldn't it be nice if we have a referendum attached to our ballots this November regarding this issue with Mrs. Pelosi - truly let the people decide whether she should be charged and which of the three possible outcomes suits her. With a precedent set Mrs. C should be next. Nan can easily afford any fine, so a short rest in jail and removal from office would be my vote. The other gal has much more serious charges and her term in jail should be back-to-back for each offense she is found guilty of. I think I'll fashion a tinfoil bedcap and go back to dreamland.

Tom Steyer apparently thought he had a good line at the Democratic presidential debate on Friday when, with great flourish, he reminded his rivals that former president Bill Clinton campaigned successfully by remembering, "It's the economy, stupid!" Steyer was right, and that's why President Trump is on course for reelection. Steyer correctly said that Trump routinely touts the robust economic growth seen in his first term and that it's proving an effective line with voters. But Steyer left the reservation when he said Democrats would only be successful in November if they "beat" Trump on that issue. He didn't say how he or any one of them could do that,

Bernie Sanders is popular in New Hampshire, and so is socialism. But the rest of the nation feels differently. When asked about this dichotomy during Friday’s Democratic primary debate, Sanders dismissed concerns about his Democratic socialist label and how it would isolate moderate voters in the general election. The moderators noted that President Trump will undoubtedly use Sanders’s socialist label against him if he wins the Democratic nomination, but Sanders didn’t seem to care. “Donald Trump lies all the time,” Sanders claimed.

Democratic California Assemblyman Marc Levine has introduced a clearly unconstitutional bill which mandates that anyone registered to vote must attend a voting booth and file a response. Levine says his intended law is justified and necessary because "democracy is not a spectator sport — it requires the active participation of all its citizens ... Those rights come with a responsibility by registered voters to cast their ballot and make sure that their voice is heard by their government." While registered voters would not have to select a candidate in order to conform with Levine's desired law, they would have to file a ballot return, even if unmarked.

All those pundits saying the Iowa caucus fiasco suddenly makes the Democrats weak for the fall election against President Trump are wrong — there was nothing sudden about their weakness at all. Even before Iowa, this Democratic field was embarrassingly weak. It is woefully lacking in stature, accomplishments, competence, and salable political philosophy. Most of its major contenders are either too old or too young. And now, the national party infrastructure’s obvious disarray only exacerbates these problems. Consider front-runner Bernie Sanders. His popularity with historically illiterate, willfully ignorant millennials aside, he would be a joke as a general election candidate in any other year.

The vote-counting debacle around the Iowa caucuses has furthered distrust and hardened anger between Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and the national Democratic Party. There is deep frustration among Sanders's supporters and allies over the historic meltdown of the first-in-the-nation caucuses. The early reported results found former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg with a small lead over Sanders - a dynamic that has been reflected in the news media for several days. The race is too close to call, but the late results trickling in appeared to be breaking in Sanders's direction and there's still a chance he could win both the popular vote and a plurality of delegates.
