During her weekly press conference Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi tried defending her decision to rip up her copy of the SOTU address by kvetching about the president’s guests, accusing the president of being on drugs and claiming everything he said during the address had been a lie …In the clip below, the speaker first defended her “dignified” premeditated tearing up of her copy of the SOTU address by complaining about the president’s guests. She must have watched a different speech than the one I watched. I thought Trump's SOTU was quite uplifting, and was a great demonstration of the greatness of this country. It is obvious it really chapped her bottom that Trump handed the medal to Rush Limbaugh on national television during the address. Tell me again that this woman isn't a "hater. I'll bet she wouldn't have complained if Barack Obama had handed one out during a SOTU address. You have to laugh, Trump definitely got to her, and she's getting a lot of criticism for what she did all by herself - tearing up Trump's speech.

Pelosi knows nothing but ruthless power politics. It is no surprise she came unglued when she realized she has lost her power. She is a liar and a fraud. She accused Trump of falsehoods in the SOTU Address but she has not offered specific instances of falsehood by refuting the facts he stated and, instead, stating the truth with verifiable citations. Under Pelosi, the House attempted to trample on very basic separation of powers and due process rights. She DOES need lessons on the Constitution and dignity.

You know, I always thought that a viable two party system was best for the country. I didn’t always agree with the liberal bent of the Democrat Party of Hubert Humphrey but I never thought HHH didn’t love his country. Back then it wasn’t a bad thing to have the Dems as a counterweight against the sometimes overreach of the Republicans. No longer. The Dems have gone all out for Marxist power. They now want the power of a dictatorial central government to force you to think and act as they ordain. Now, we are seeing the face of what’s left of that party. They have truly become the face of communism in this country and, God willing, that party will no longer exist in a few years. If they were smart they would see what’s happened to the almost defunct Labor Party in the U.K. They are heading for the same irrelevancy and good riddance.

What Nasty did wasn't just undignified; it was a felony. Mark Alexander of Patriot Post pointed this out. When she destroyed an official document -- an official signed communication from the POTUS to the House -- she violated the Presidential Records Act of 1978, 18 U.S. Code 2071. Upon conviction, that carries a possible fine and jail time, but forget that. It also causes her to lose her post with the U.S. Government (Representative from California's 12th District) and makes her permanently ineligible to hold any position under the U.S. Government.

President Donald Trump's campaign strategy came into sharp focus during the State of the Union address, and the Democrats are horrified at the mirror held up to their faces. The campaign strategy has three components. The president will tout the incredible record of achievement hidden by the media. He will engage in sustained and aggressive outreach to minority voters who have been victimized the most by Democrat policies. Finally, he will force the Democrats to defend the indefensible. It is those last two components that left the Democrats stuck on stupid.
