Is it too early to contemplate a search for a clone of Donald Trump for the 2024 election? Maybe not! But is Trump replaceable? The man who restored America’s pride, dignity, optimism and hope after a devastating eight dismal years of Barack Hussein Obama! Trump officially entered the Republican Presidential race on June 16, 2015 with a simple yet powerful message: ‘Make America Great Again.’ Trump stirred up the hornet's nest that is Washington D.C. when no other President has dared to even go there. This resulted in a strong reaction from the media, the Democrat Party, Hollywood, the elitists and globalists, even worldwide socialists. Trump was not a politician,

We've just seen -- and will continue to see every day -- what politicians of all stripes are capable of doing, which is why America chose Donald Trump to expose the Deep State and lead us out of the Swamp. We can hope for his guidance in naming a successor. --Vets for Trump 2020

Lord willing, I will retire during Trump's second term. I hope that creates some stability.

Perhaps we should work on repealing that amendment that limits a president to two terms - Trump is strong like bull - good for at least three more terms!

My 85 year old mother is concerned about this. Ha! She was trying to figure out who can continue Trumps vision in 2024, I assured her that there is someone, they just cannot be timid.

We'll have to take it four years at a time. We know the democrats have nobody who can compete but we'll have to find somebody on our side who can come close. I wouldn't overlook Mike Pence.

The bad thing about Trump, is after 4 more years, who will replace him? We certainly can't count on ANY of the Washington crowd to do anything other than slide back into the swamp.
Let's start looking for solutions to this.

Amil, OP and others need to find a different hobby. Navel Gazing has never solved anything. Those who have no faith in the man that our president chose as his vice-president are merely parroting the media. Get a life.....

Ted Cruz.
Mike Pence is a good man, but he has functioned mostly as a loyal squire to the shining knight.

We may as well first accept that there is only one Trump. He stands amidst the top presidents of the Country and certainly the best of modern times.
What we will need, in 2024 an beyond, are people who are NOT traditional Republicans who seem to carry a submissive personalities. Trump has plowed the path, pushing aside media/dems/Socialists/Deep State/NeverTrump and the PC they use to control their narratives. He has stocked the courts, and will continue to, with judges who believe in laws as written and are starting to push back against judges who legislate from the bench. He has proven that America is supremely competitive in business and dominant in military might.
As soon as Trump is gone the "resistance" will start to nibble away at Trump's gains. Latter Presidents mostly need to preserve the accomplishments Trump made and seek gradual expansions as necessary. They need to LOVE this Country as originally conceived and her People. They need to put America first. They need to watch the elements of "resistance" and keep it crushed by observing that where there is one rat you see, there are many you don't. We don't need paranoia but we do need vigilance. They need to demand global respect and fair play. They need to be willing to strike mightily against terrorists and rogue states but avoid entanglements in the world's mess.
It's not all that hard to see the tenants of Trump's Presidential philosophy or his love for America and its People. His magic is how he accomplishes what he does and the details of his actions.
The philosophy can be captured. A future President can have a bold and fighting spirit. Trump's magic may not be able to be completely caught but with so much accomplished, a future president may not need all of it.
As to who, Cruz has certainly shown he can learn and build his skill set. I like Haley but am uncertain about her broader skill set. As to another Trump, no presidential dynasties please. Maybe 20 years or more from now once one of them has earned it and proven themselves.

There will never be another Trump, just like there will never be another Reagan, Truman, Roosevelt etc, etc. Every president is different and every administration faces different challenges. 4 years from now, we may very eell be facing different circumstances requiring different skill sets and temperment.

It will be very hard for the Republicans to replace President Trump who is not a career politician in the usually wimpy Republican mode like the holier than thou Mittens Romney. Instead Trump is a street fighter in the mode of a junkyard dog all the way, who will never give in to the DC UniParty and DC administrative “Deep State” bureaucracies, as he goes about pursuing his political agenda to advance American interests instead of going along with and ignoring official DC based corruption. In reality there are very few DC Republican politicians who have the guts to really take on the dug in nasty leftist, liberal, progressive, and socialist Democrats, the career “Deep State” DC bureaucracies, and general DC corruption and it’s nepotistic offshoots in an effective way.

We already have him in the Senate. Senator Ted Cruz set aside his own animus toward PDJT's bloviations, toward Cruz's father and wife, during the 2016 campaign.to work hard of implementing the President's agenda. He's the smartest man in Congress and his campaign in 2016 indicated his goals for the nation were similar to PDJT. President Cruz recognizes the success of PDJT's policies and would continue and expand upon them.

Ron DeSantis, Governor of FL. Elected in 2918, up for re-election in 2022. Sky high approval ratings, fully supports PDT, like the president knows how to appeal to new constituencies, not intimidated by the Left. Check him out.

I agree with #6 and #19. My preference would be Don Jr. I am not thrilled with Ivanka. At least I don't believe his children would try to undo what President Trump has and will accomplish. I don't yet trust Ted Cruz, and I also don't trust Pence. Pence was involved via email with Paul Ryan prior to the election of 2016 of conspiring to steal Trump's nomination at the last minute and putting in Pence.

Rick De Santis is proving to be a wonderful conservative governor here in Florida. He is well-ecucated, street smart, resolute and plain spoken, qualities which make him a very good possibility. Dan Bongino is another great suggestion, but I seriously doubt he'd do it because he's been burned in previous outings.
Of the younger Trumps, I tend to favor Eric because of his rhetorical skills, although Don Jr. is no slouch. Just as long as we avoid George H.W. Bush redux.

No more dynasties! No more Bushes, no more Clintons, no more Adams (John and John Q.), and no more Trumps!
This is not to denigrate DJT, but it ought to be a general principle that the child or spouse of a President should be ineligible!

Yes #20. Senator Cruz and Heidi are still tight with the Bushies and Rove down here in Texas. He is an opportunist and It will be very interesting watching him maneuver once
Georgie P. and Pierce Bush desire his endorsement.
