NFL Gross-Out Halftime Show
Featuring Jennifer Lopez's A**

Call me Karen, I really don't care, but what I just sat through during the halftime show at the 2020 Super Bowl should never happen again. I want to speak to all the supervisors who let this happen.(Snip for tweet) The FCC still has rules about decency on network television between certain hours when children are watching. It is well established that children are watching during the Super Bowl. I had to send mine out of the room as soon as Jennifer Lopez took the stage in what looked like a two-sided thong and buttless chaps. The camerawork was outrageously gross, zooming in on Lopez's barely covered crotch, so close

The patriotic beginning with the Johnny Cash song was beautiful. The. WWII veterans were awe inspiring. America the Beautiful. Then along comes halftime with pelvic thrusts and stripper poles. And crotch shots. Seriously?

Did not watch the game so I was spared the half-time show, but getting past J-Lo's extraordinarily bad taste in that picture, how about her back-up dancers wearing the long black and white gloves? Just more "toxic masculinity", I guess. There are so many things wrong with that picture.

I must be getting old because I cannot image bending over and showing the world my butt! Ha! I don't get it. Her little daughter was there and I asked my college aged son what he'd think of me if I did that and he laughed because he knows I'd never act like that, I don't need to. The stripper poles were a bit much and a try hard. Chakira's belly dancing was fantastic.

A group of women watched the Super Bowl with me and we were totally shocked at J-Lo and her porn show. We are not prudes, and all have grown children but her show was really disgusting. The article focused on the camera work which was accurate and she proudly showed off her butt and else. I am not a prude but this was totally inappropriate for the Super Bowl. I’m getting sick of these porn shows during half time.

TV programming has gone from Hollywood’s T and A full display to long slim legs all meeting at the apex. Fox network has slid to a new low, Fox and friends, Gutfield, all the morning shows are trying to see how far up the lower thigh the camera can display. It’s become porn views with some news tossed in for your pleasure.

It's time to bring back the best part of the football games, the bands at half time. I always enjoyed the music and the awesome marching. These bands put a lot of practice and work into the marching. They deserve the half time show. Oh, and the band members leave their clothes on, another bonus

I don't have cable or network so I watched it on YouTube. I thought Shakira was great, she has a wonderful voice and was sexy without going over the top, but J-Lo - ummm, I don't think so. For me, the best Super Bowl half time was Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. They just came out and sang. They didn't need to writhe around and they didn't need back up dancers. They relied on their talent and it was an awesome show.

It is no longer safe to have a television on in your home with children watching. The networks used to wait until after bed time to show anything like this. Now the kids watch homosexuals kissing on a flower commercial in between their cartoons. Parents really need to go to dvds or recorded shows with no commercials. We have a broken culture. To all of you parents who said, "I'm not going to take my kids to church, I'll let them decide for themselves." Thanks a lot!

#29, allow me to give you some history. There was no pro football prior to the roaring 20's. There was college football, and other sports, because colleges believed in developing students physically and mentally. Cheerleaders- lads and lasses- cheered. And the marching bands were forms of exercise, and art. And saturday's game was a time for everyone to come out and enjoy a healthy day of fun. (Up until the 1960's, college teams played an 8 game schedule. Now they play 12 games, plus playoff. And if a team plays the school from the leper colony, a 13 game schedule is allowed.) Pro football, a bit sleazy at first, tried to copy college football. That's where the cheerleaders come from. But do not criticize The Five! If I want to admire the beautiful legs of Emily, a former NFL cheerleader, or the beautiful; legs of Katie, I will do so. At least they are not simulating sexual intercourse. And each of them is an attorney. Law school was brightened by their attendance.

When you can't act, fight weight issues in your thighs and behind, can't sing except to lip-sync you turn to your only other asset, your crotch with good cameramen and canister explosions you can do anything. No 'wardrobe malfunction' last night it was well planned. I haven't watched the NFL in four seasons including the Super Bowls and I always abhor the game's half time shows. They proved me right. I'm happy for Andy Reid and that the 49'ers (birthplace of the kneeling social justice warriors) lost that's all it means to me.

Many years ago I read about burlesque. Certain hip motions (those which imitated the sex act) were prohibited in burlesque theaters, I was led to understand. Those hip motions were clearly on display in the half-time sex exhibition. What has changed, that what was once banned even in adult entertainment is now on public display? 30 women simultaneously humping? Come on! Why didn't they just run the porn channels? Are there no ways to dance which are not obscene?

I thought the J-Ho performance was a brilliant move by the AARP to show that their gals can still get a leg up on the world when they're not using their walker. And I appreciated her modesty in using a way too big maxipad to keep her hoohah from showing under her thong. The only thing that messed up the sexiness for me was the inadvertent closeup of the pole that showed the tennis ball on the bottom.

But seriously, even the low T half men that live vicariously through the sports accomplishments of other men shouldn't be getting all hot and bothered by well used 50 year old lady bits and a plastic filled bottom. Well the NFL sure hit it out of the park teeing up a competitive football game, that produced a new 24 year old quarterback hero who engineered the Chief’s comeback; and at the same time with one of their NFL prominent employees and his wife, both great friends of the Obamas, remaining sitting throughout the National Anthem as their sign of disrespect for the country that made them rich, and of course their star performer rubbing what most women would consider their most private female sexual organ for all to see on national, and international TV. Now all that was certainly a diverse show.

Back about the time I quit watching Saturday Night Live, Ms. Lopez was guest host, and the often repeated subject of the show was her butt. Contrary to the theme of that show, callipygian is not a word that should apply to the nastily immodest JLo. She is definitely not my physical type. I watched the Super Bowl with my Grandson and was mortified. Was this suppose to be entertaining? Of course Jay Z and his wife Beyonce produced it. Their sleazy fingerprints were all over it. JLO made a fool of herself putting her body on display in this classless sordid display. Did she really need to do this to advance her career? She denegrated women in the worse possible way. Furthermore, they she put her 11 year old daughter on stage with a political message. Another liberal technique using children in their political stunts. Any economic stimulus must be focused

As lawmakers and President Trump debate whether to pass a stimulus package to address the economic disruption already being caused by the coronavirus, it’s important that they consider policies that will simultaneously help slow the spread of the virus itself. The coronavirus presents a unique global economic challenge. It isn’t the result of financial institutions collapsing under the weight of bad investments, as in 2008. It isn't due to any natural drop in demand for goods and services. Big banks have plenty of money, and consumers would be happy to spend money and go about their lives. This time, the economic problems are the result of a biological agent,

The significance of the problem became apparent in the same string of primaries that put Biden on the cusp of the nomination.

I'll begin with a word on last night's address by the president. In some respects, it was strong; it emphasized the seriousness of the crisis, repeated crucially important recommendations for best hygiene practices, and reassured anxious Americans that the federal government will act to mitigate the (negative, likely temporary) economic impact. But it also failed in several key respects. First, it focused too heavily on foreign travel restrictions. The virus is already here and spreading rapidly. I'm not opposed to additional restrictions -- Trump's early decisions on that front vis-a-vis China and Iran were heavily criticized but were exactly the right thing to do --
Google’s Supreme Court bid to

This month, the Supreme Court hears oral arguments in Google v. Oracle — widely dubbed “the copyright case of the century.” Let’s hope the Supremes stop Google in its tracks. Google is offering a dangerous legal argument that, if left standing, would directly abet China’s relentless theft of American intellectual property. The facts are wonky, so bear with me. In 2010, the tech firm Oracle sounded the alarm that Google copied its Java software application-program interfaces (API) for Google’s Android smartphone without a license. In the litigation that followed, a federal appellate court twice ruled for Oracle, rejecting Google’s main defense that it made “fair use” of Oracle’s code.

The White House and congressional Republicans have poured cold water on the House Democrats' coronavirus legislation to provide economic relief to Americans, signaling there won’t be immediate broad bipartisan support for the pending bill unless it undergoes changes. One senior administration official said the White House has “serious concerns” with the measure put forth by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., late Wednesday to help families deal with the economic hardships of the pandemic. And House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., said the legislation “comes up short.” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., panned the bill as an "ideological wish list," putting the legislation in limbo.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sought to include a potential way to guarantee federal funding for abortion into the coronavirus economic stimulus plan, according to multiple senior White House officials. Speaking to the Daily Caller, those officials alleged that while negotiating the stimulus with U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, Pelosi tried to lobby for “several” provisions that stalled bipartisan commitment to the effort. One was a mandate for up to $1 billion to reimburse laboratory claims, which White House officials say would set a precedent of health spending without protections outlined in the Hyde Amendment.

As with Mao Zedong's "Great Leap Forward," Xi Jinping's coronavirus legacy is built on a mountain of bodies and lies. Believing China has turned the corner with this pandemic, China's leader is looking for positive global recognition. He deserves global recognition of the exact opposite kind. The homeless were thrown onto the streets, we’re told, because of rising rents, heartless landlords, and a lack of economic opportunity. Activists, journalists, and political leaders have perpetuated this line of reasoning and, following it to its conclusion, have proposed investing billions in subsidized housing to solve homelessness. But new data are undermining this narrative. As residents of West Coast cities witness the disorder associated with homeless encampments, they have found it harder to accept the progressive consensus—especially in the context of the coronavirus epidemic, which has all Americans worried about contagion.

It’s sobriety time for Trump partisans who were feeling wildly upbeat in the wake of the self-destructive Democratic failure with impeachment and from polls showing most Americans expected the president to win a second term. The primary results Tuesday night in Michigan should be setting off alarm bells in Trump Land. They are so suggestive of a possible Democratic path to victory in November that they remind me of the expert speaking in the midst of a crisis on a TV chat show in the Pixar classic “Monsters, Inc.” He is a talking pencil who speaks with a Viennese accent as he declares,

“To say they were crushed is an understatement,” a top royal expert has revealed about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s exit from the British royal family, saying it was “unnecessarily cruel,” adding, “Things might have been different if a family member or two had stood up for them during the darkest times.” Omid Scobie, Bazaar.com’s royal editor at large and a journalist in Harry and Meghan’s inner circle, has revealed how the couple had ultimately felt Megxit “wasn’t necessary,” but they were forced into it after being “left to fend for themselves against impossible circumstances — even during her pregnancy,” as the British establishment turned its back on the couple.

With former Vice President Joe Biden boasting victories on Tuesday in Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, and Idaho, the impatience among Democrats is growing about when the man who put Biden on his ticket in 2008 will endorse the now-certain party nominee. But far more valuable than the support of former President Barack Obama would be former first lady Michelle Obama on the ticket with Biden – a momentous maneuver that would electrify the country. On Monday at a rally in Detroit, Biden declared, “I view myself as a bridge, not as anything else,” adding, “there’s an entire generation of leaders you saw

Democratic presidential frontrunner Joe Biden complained Thursday about President Donald Trump calling the Wuhan coronavirus “a foreign virus” in Wednesday’s Oval Office address. “Labeling COVID-19 a foreign virus does not displace the accountability for the misjudgements that have taken place so far by the Trump administration,” Biden said. “The [Wuhan] coronavirus does not discriminate based on national origin, race, gender, or zip code.” (Snip) In this case, however, it is even more important to identify the new coronavirus with where it originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan, as the Chinese government attempted to cover up warnings and brushed off the threat of its severity, giving rise to what the World

Seeking to draw a contrast with President Donald Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic, Joe Biden on Thursday slammed the president's approach as a "colossal" failure and offered his own plan to deal with the crisis. "We will lead by science," the 2020 front-runner said during an address from his hometown of Wilmington, Delaware. "Downplaying it, being overly dismissive, or spreading misinformation is only going to hurt us and further advantage the spread of the disease," (Snip)"This virus laid bare the severe shortcomings of the current administration. Public fears are being compounded by a pervasive lack of trust in this president fueled by adversarial relationships with the truth that he continues

With some K-12 school districts and administrators across America panicking and attempting to get ahead of any ‘outbreak’ of the coronavirus, more districts are opting for students to stay home. I’d be willing to bet that most students thoroughly enjoy this. It’s kind of like having ‘snow days.’ However, what might be in store for these students could be far more important than a snow day, as it’s possible that the virus may herald a revolutionary shift in education. Throughout the years, American homeschooling and online K-12 education has become far more popular and realistic than ‘brick and mortar’ public schools want to admit.

Public fears are being compounded by a pervasive lack of trust in this president, fueled by adversarial relationship with the truth," the former vice president said in an address on Thursday. He suggested that Trump is hiding the "true number of infections in hope of protecting political interests or the stock market."The Democratic presidential front-runner's address came the day after Trump addressed

It was supposed to be a quiet day off in the countryside until my phone went berserk—the staccato buzz I set for palace correspondence almost sending it off the table. “His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince Harry to Ms. Meghan Markle,” the November 27, 2017, email read, followed by a note inviting royal correspondents to join the couple for a special photo call to mark the occasion. A few road rules may have been bent to make the 80-ish mile drive from Oxfordshire to Kensington Palace—in traffic—but it was worth it.

The day after colleges across the country suspended classes over fears of the coronavirus, Abigail Lockhart-Calpito, a freshman from San Antonio, ran across the Harvard campus trying to get answers. Her lectures were being replaced by online classes. Her residence hall was being cleared out. She, like thousands of others in her shoes, had a million questions: What was going to happen to her financial aid? Where would she stay? What about her credits? The abrupt disruption of the semester caused widespread concern and a feeling of chaos on campuses across the country. Administrators saw spring break as a chance
