Call me Karen, I really don't care, but what I just sat through during the halftime show at the 2020 Super Bowl should never happen again. I want to speak to all the supervisors who let this happen.(Snip for tweet) The FCC still has rules about decency on network television between certain hours when children are watching. It is well established that children are watching during the Super Bowl. I had to send mine out of the room as soon as Jennifer Lopez took the stage in what looked like a two-sided thong and buttless chaps. The camerawork was outrageously gross, zooming in on Lopez's barely covered crotch, so close

The patriotic beginning with the Johnny Cash song was beautiful. The. WWII veterans were awe inspiring. America the Beautiful.
Then along comes halftime with pelvic thrusts and stripper poles. And crotch shots. Seriously?

Did not watch the game so I was spared the half-time show, but getting past J-Lo's extraordinarily bad taste in that picture, how about her back-up dancers wearing the long black and white gloves? Just more "toxic masculinity", I guess.
There are so many things wrong with that picture.

I must be getting old because I cannot image bending over and showing the world my butt! Ha! I don't get it. Her little daughter was there and I asked my college aged son what he'd think of me if I did that and he laughed because he knows I'd never act like that, I don't need to. The stripper poles were a bit much and a try hard. Chakira's belly dancing was fantastic.

A group of women watched the Super Bowl with me and we were totally shocked at J-Lo and her porn show. We are not prudes, and all have grown children but her show was really disgusting. The article focused on the camera work which was accurate and she proudly showed off her butt and else. I am not a prude but this was totally inappropriate for the Super Bowl. I’m getting sick of these porn shows during half time.

The NFL hired Jay Z (or however he spells it) to select the "talent". He responded by sitting for the National Anthem. Gratitude I guess.

TV programming has gone from Hollywood’s T and A full display to long slim legs all meeting at the apex.
Fox network has slid to a new low, Fox and friends, Gutfield, all the morning shows are trying to see how far up the lower thigh
the camera can display. It’s become porn views with some news tossed in for your pleasure.

The Half-time show pretty much reflected the sexually corrupt culture of the NFL players and the organization. Besides, they don't really care about what you think or feel. The fans still have their back.

It's time to bring back the best part of the football games, the bands at half time. I always enjoyed the music and the awesome marching. These bands put a lot of practice and work into the marching. They deserve the half time show. Oh, and the band members leave their clothes on, another bonus

I don't have cable or network so I watched it on YouTube. I thought Shakira was great, she has a wonderful voice and was sexy without going over the top, but J-Lo - ummm, I don't think so.
For me, the best Super Bowl half time was Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. They just came out and sang. They didn't need to writhe around and they didn't need back up dancers. They relied on their talent and it was an awesome show.

It is no longer safe to have a television on in your home with children watching.
The networks used to wait until after bed time to show anything like this.
Now the kids watch homosexuals kissing on a flower commercial in between their cartoons.
Parents really need to go to dvds or recorded shows with no commercials.
We have a broken culture. To all of you parents who said, "I'm not going to take my kids to church, I'll let them decide for themselves." Thanks a lot!

This did not even come close to approaching the disgusting degradation that was the Grammy awards show where dance moves and garsish gender bending costumes have replaced the celebration of music (does modern popular music qualify anymore?)

#29, allow me to give you some history.
There was no pro football prior to the roaring 20's. There was college football, and other sports, because colleges believed in developing students physically and mentally. Cheerleaders- lads and lasses- cheered. And the marching bands were forms of exercise, and art. And saturday's game was a time for everyone to come out and enjoy a healthy day of fun. (Up until the 1960's, college teams played an 8 game schedule. Now they play 12 games, plus playoff. And if a team plays the school from the leper colony, a 13 game schedule is allowed.)
Pro football, a bit sleazy at first, tried to copy college football. That's where the cheerleaders come from.
But do not criticize The Five! If I want to admire the beautiful legs of Emily, a former NFL cheerleader, or the beautiful; legs of Katie, I will do so. At least they are not simulating sexual intercourse. And each of them is an attorney. Law school was brightened by their attendance.

When you can't act, fight weight issues in your thighs and behind, can't sing except to lip-sync you turn to your only other asset, your crotch with good cameramen and canister explosions you can do anything. No 'wardrobe malfunction' last night it was well planned.
I haven't watched the NFL in four seasons including the Super Bowls and I always abhor the game's half time shows. They proved me right. I'm happy for Andy Reid and that the 49'ers (birthplace of the kneeling social justice warriors) lost that's all it means to me.

Many years ago I read about burlesque. Certain hip motions (those which imitated the sex act) were prohibited in burlesque theaters, I was led to understand. Those hip motions were clearly on display in the half-time sex exhibition. What has changed, that what was once banned even in adult entertainment is now on public display?
30 women simultaneously humping?
Come on!
Why didn't they just run the porn channels?
Are there no ways to dance which are not obscene?

I thought the J-Ho performance was a brilliant move by the AARP to show that their gals can still get a leg up on the world when they're not using their walker. And I appreciated her modesty in using a way too big maxipad to keep her hoohah from showing under her thong. The only thing that messed up the sexiness for me was the inadvertent closeup of the pole that showed the tennis ball on the bottom.

Didn't watch! Never watch! Also, the ads were REALLY bad this year. They are produced by millennials, I swear! They lacked humor on any level and were scatter brained insults to our intelligence! Thanks for TIVO, I sailed through all the ads after the first couple of breaks and clicked past the half time "show"! The Super Bowl is getting worse every year! Then to have FOX broadcast it...ads every possible break and even during the commentary? Yuk! Oh and 49ers? What was THAT? Make sure you NEVER throw the ball to George Kittle... What a terrible job of coaching! Way to go again, Kyle!

Pretty tame stuff considering pornography has been normalized by how many generations of men now? Just getting kids introduced good and early to the addiction so no harm no foul, right guys?
But seriously, even the low T half men that live vicariously through the sports accomplishments of other men shouldn't be getting all hot and bothered by well used 50 year old lady bits and a plastic filled bottom.
Speaking of half men, Jeb! thought it was the best half time show ever.

Well the NFL sure hit it out of the park teeing up a competitive football game, that produced a new 24 year old quarterback hero who engineered the Chief’s comeback; and at the same time with one of their NFL prominent employees and his wife, both great friends of the Obamas, remaining sitting throughout the National Anthem as their sign of disrespect for the country that made them rich, and of course their star performer rubbing what most women would consider their most private female sexual organ for all to see on national, and international TV. Now all that was certainly a diverse show.

I watched the Super Bowl with my Grandson and was mortified. Was this suppose to be entertaining? Of course Jay Z and his wife Beyonce produced it. Their sleazy fingerprints were all over it. JLO made a fool of herself putting her body on display in this classless sordid display. Did she really need to do this to advance her career? She denegrated women in the worse possible way. Furthermore, they she put her 11 year old daughter on stage with a political message. Another liberal technique using children in their political stunts. Jennifer Lopez totally lowered herself image to 115 million people.
I thought better of Jennie on the block. But the Super Bowl was not very smart.
