What started in whispers is now appearing in print…American Thinker, Market Watch, Huffington Post, Washington Times, National Review, Daily Wire, Breitbart, Real Clear Politics, and The New Yorker, among others. They are writing about the possibility of a second civil war in this country, a redo of Democrats’ nullification of federal law, the insistent opposition and rejection of the

We've (in the heartland) got most of the radical democrats hemmed up in the big cities, so we just cut off their food supply, utilities, and transportation. Arrest them when they start coming out!

It's already being fought. But if the Democratic coastal and metropolitan elites think they can win an actual civil war then I feel sorry for them. We have the weapons and I can guarantee the police and military will side with we deplorables.

Poster #2 - I hope you're right, but I remember Ruby Ridge, Kent State and the Branch Davidians at Waco ,TX. That was the
government firing on American citizens.

1. Does anyone believe that the Pajama Boys & Girls in the Blue States will enlist to fight in this new civil war? Men from Red States will simply yell “Boo!!” and the handful of Blue soldiers will drop their hand creams and run away in their expensive exercise outfits.
2. As with first Civil War, Blue State millennials will want to hire illegals to take their place in the draft. Northerners could once pay Irish immigrants $300 to take their place as cannon fodder. But will illegals escaping the violence of Mexico and Central America want to risk their lives for $30,000 so that the Pajama People can go to the gym?

Here’s my greatest worry. The deep state. They WILL send their guns to infiltrate and take out our leaders if this horror comes to pass.

They have been pushing this for years, trying to see just how much tyranny we are willing to take. Then they rub our noses in it. Look at Virginia for a recent example.
The ballot box doesn't work because they have stolen it. Even if an election was fair, who would believe it? There is zero confidence in the election process anymore. So how else to get rid of the corrupt grifters who infect our nation? I hope this is wrong but fear it is right.

It's a bit different now than it was in the 18-19th century in that we have the ability get the info we need and act on it. There are a LOT of frogs that actually notice the gradual increase in the water temperature.

This is a bit ridiculous. There isn’t going to be a war, and we all know it. America will either enter a slow, European style decline, or rejuvenate into the pillar of freedom we all remember.
Trump has done an amazing job of restoring the judiciary to an even keel. Any socialist that would win in November will suffer the deBlasio effect: failure caused by successful implementation of stupid ideas.
So let’s rejoice. And make sure we win in November.

Poster 4, the elites will enlist mercenaries from the third world. The cartels. The ISIS and Al Queda terrorists, through their friends at the UN.
Just because THEY dont plan to fight, doesn't mean they dont plan to have someone die for their cause while killing us.

The Civil War never ended. It just went cold, then subversive, and now totalitarian.

That said, I sure hope there is no war.
But Democrats have already, time and again, shown themselves to be monumentally selfish and stupid. It would not surprise me, if they fail to take what they want, corruptly that they would resort to violence. They've certainly done it, before.

Maybe, maybe not, but I've been prepared ever since I saw what one un-American, muslim, communist, lying Lightbringer could do to a country. Ruby Ridge, Kent State and Waco were examples of a radical few that did not have the support of flyover country America but were in essence, federal government murders. If a real match-up should occur, we have more weapons and ex-military people out here and we have the Constitution on our side. Active duty military and the police all have families out here. If the Left thought they could beat us they would have tried harder than that stupid Fast & Furious trick. I suggest that the Deep State stock up on white flags.

This could be a different kind of civil war. Taking over major communication areas could be instrumental in winning. Google, Facebook and network television should be early goals to ridding America of communist influence should this happen.

"The precursor to the American Civil War was the Nullification Crisis of 1832. Having originated in South Carolina, it advanced the idea that a state did not have to abide by federal law, that it could nullify laws it did not agree with, or were found to be damaging to their interests."
Sounds like we've already got that considering environmental laws, abortion, pot, run rights, illegal immigration, education, etc. etc. That's fine by me, but everything goes the leftist way. Let conservative states decide how to handle illegal immigration or gun rights or abortion or education without having the feds come in and say, "We're going to cut off your highway funds".

In a civil war, who would be the leaders trying to overthrow the deep state? Not sure I see any at this point. Also, follow the money. Big-money will likely determine who gets to the top, and they will own them. I am reminded of The Who's 'Wont be fooled again'. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Before taking sides, you have to know who they are, and what they represent.

I expect there will be riots in all the major cities if Trump wins a second term. Look at what happened in D.C. on Inauguration Day. My other concern is assassination. All it takes is one crazy, and they seem to be coming out of the woodwork, jumping over the WH fence, driving through barriers, and showing up at his rallies. The Secret Service is not the organization it used to be. I can see some of them standing by and letting it happen, if not actively participating. In modern times, Indira Gandhi was killed by her bodyguards, and Anwar Sadat was killed by Egyptian soldiers. I pray for PDJT's safety every night.

#5 and #9 are correct. It wouldn't be the man-bun sporting Antifa pansies running around in the streets.
I've read Schlichter's books on a future U.S. split, as well as other authors on the same theme. They're becoming less fictional by the day. Maybe not a full-blown Civil War, but street violence on a massive scale. We'd better be prepared.

#15, given the DS tech capabilities, paid for with our tax dollars, there wouldn't be any 'leaders' in the usual sense of the word. Just citizens practicing asymmetrical warfare in small groups, until every last commie is put down, no matter where they run to or how deep they hide.
For instance, look at what the reddit autists did to the 'actor' S. LaBeouf, finding and taking down that stupid 'he will not divide us' flag, time after time. That exercise was hilarious, but also indicative of the capabilities we posses out here in fly-over land. They would be found, and dealt with. Their hubris keeps them from believing that it would be possible. And that's their blind spot.

I doubt anything like a 'real' civil war will occur. The left will resort to a lot of street violence and massive voter fraud but that will be all. That doesn't mean we should not be ready and armed. I live in a small Southern city. Not much crime although we have the usual drug problems (mostly meth). If an Antifa mob were to get violent here our police would shoot to kill. They won't come here, of course, they only riot in 'blue' cities where the cops are under orders not to interfere. My real fear is organized voter fraud. The Democrat Party resorts to it in every election and they feel that it's their 'right' because we deplorables won't vote the way they want us to. It will be blatant and outrageous this November.

"Is there anyone to erase the battle lines before the division takes on a life of its own? Will anyone from the left step up? We are waiting."
The authors are waiting futilely. The Left CREATED this mess. They want this to boil over and remake America in a totalitarian image. They think that patriotic Americans will fold when faced with violence. That rarely has been the case and those evoking such a war will probably find they have unleashed a terrible wrath. Conservatives have long been unhappy with the progressive corruption of America but have diligently followed the paths of order to fix things. Each time, the Left goes further afield.
If the Left crosses the line to violence, they will find a righteous reaction that will literally sweep them away. Conservatives don't want to take that step but if provoked, will. It will be horrible for all but an end to progressives, Socialists, and Communists in this Country. It will yield things that are necessary but not fully American in nature, just as the Civil War did. It took decades to rebalance society. We don't want this but can no longer accept the corruption of the Left. They can accept it through the ballet box or be taught by other means.

From the OP: "It is definitely one of our greatest fears, and yet ignoring it or pretending it could never happen will not make it so."
Why do you fear it? I look forward to the opportunity to rid our country of scum and cleanse the nation for my children and grandchildren.

In the words of a Bernie Sanders campaign organizer identified as Kyle Jurek, "cities burn" if Trump gets reelected. In reference to the upcoming DNC Convention Jurek said, "We’re going to make 1978 [1968] look like a f–ing Girl Scout f–ing cookout,” he said, adding, “The cops are going to be the ones that are getting f–ing beaten in Milwaukee. They’re going to call out the National Guard for that s–t. I promise you that.” (Project Veritas) These people want conflict and call for violence against anyone the supports President Trump. We must resist their efforts!
