Matt Drudge turned his coat on Donald John Trump last year. Liberals have begun noticing. Guess what? They do not want him either.
To be sure, conservatives have had it with him. On October 9, I wrote my most popular post of 2019, "Post Drudge conservative news."
I said, "Matt Drudge's foray into respectability has made him an unreliable -- indeed, downright misleading -- source of news. But the good news is there are alternatives to the Alternative Left Reality the Drudge Report now calls home."
Readers overwhelmingly agreed that Drudge sold out.

Drudge's Alexa report is not auspicious. Over 90 days is has dropped from #667 to #901 in global internet traffic. The trend is not good.

thelibertydaily.com seems to taken over from Drudge.
Drudge sold out in a complicated deal that made him a pot of money. Good for him.
But I won't go read his now-Google-owned website.

Can't stomach LibertyDaily for the juvenile headlines like butt joke names for the Indy Mayor presidential candidate. Prefer Whatfinger site & BonginoReport along with daily doses of Conservative Treehouse, only after a thorough going over of Lucianne!

Drudge forgot that the marketplace made him and will now forget him. CNN seems to be his editorial pinnings now.

Matt sold out for simple silver - lots of it. I don't think he was ever in it for principles. 'What does it profit a man.....? The author is right - no one will ever value his opinion again.

You got it #4! Lucianne.com when I first wake up and before I go to bed, with a check of Bonginoreports, Conservativetreehouse and Legalinsurrection (for an attorney’s spin on current events.) Can’t read everything but I feel I have an idea of what’s going on. Will have to check out this Liberty Daily several of you have mentioned.
Left Drudge last year and haven’t been back.

What's that you say? Dogie rampage? Dodge Raptor? No? Dredge? Can't say it rings a bell...
Like Cardinal John Henry Newman found out after he converted from Anglican to Catholic, when you switch sides of a bitter rivalry, neither side will embrace you as one of theirs. The Left did their 'cancel' of Drudge over a decade ago, without any workable precedent for undoing a 'cancel'. And the Right seem to have have a stinging Drudge Grudge since his transformation.

Lucianne.com, protrumpnews.com, Bonginoreport.com for the rest of the story. I can get all the usual DNC, coup, neonazi neocommunist propaganda from the rest of the media, because it is saturated with it.
Matt Drudge is an attention seeking weed in the wind. His rise to fame and fortune was simply because he dared to provide a list of a few alternatives to the usual fake news brainwashing. NO analysis, no insight, just links to a few alternative, and plenty of links to all the propaganda. Now he is downplaying or eliminating the few interesting alternatives to the usual slop. Who cares? There are brighter places to go as I mentioned and at Lucianne you see the usual lies from the MSM, BUT you get great insight, information and a chance to add to the discussion. It's like a trillion times more informative than all the old networks and the odd assortment of soros cable idiots.

Libertdaily looks a lot like Drudge used to, but the quality of the site is far less. Like another poster mentioned, it is loaded with fat jokes and stupid plays on peoples' names. (Yes, I do it sometimes too. But not like them). Its like it is edited by a junior high bully. Still, I read it and prefer it over the current Drudge. Bongino is far better and Lucianne is tops.

I’m with #4. Lucianne first, then Bongino and What Finger to finish up if I have the time. But don’t forget Town Hall.

#4, you do see the irony in your disdain for butt names, dontcha Miss B?
I agree it’s a childish turn-off for me, too, but I still read the site.

I stopped with drudge back in 2016. He was turning then. I read Bongino Report. Rantingly dot com is akin to old drudge. Not sure if it has bad jokes.

Sorry Matt, you had a very good run -- but you sold out and we've moved on to Bongino Report, Beige Page, Whatfinger, and several other fine conservative news aggregator sites. Life is good.

#13 Jimmy Castor was clearly not political in writing the 'Bertha Butt Boogie' '74. I want my news and opinion to start from maybe a Mark Steyn sense of wit & not things overheard in the junior high boys bathroom. All things are good in their place, but - of course!

Drudge has a successful, long 15 minute run. His time has run out, if he even owns the site anylonger.
