Sanders Supporters Shocked
to Find Bias at CNN

The Left’s reaction to CNN’s hostility toward Sen. Bernie Sanders during Tuesday night’s Democratic presidential debate inevitably evokes that classic Casablanca scene in which Renault indignantly declares, “I’m shocked — shocked — to find that gambling is going on in here!” Renault isn’t actually surprised, of course. He’s smart enough to know exactly what’s been happening at Rick’s. The same cannot be said for Sanders supporters and what’s been going on at CNN. They credulously watched for three years as its “journalists” accused President Trump, without a scrap of evidence, of colluding with Russia to steal the 2016 election and still believed the cable network was in the news business.

After the whole primary process was engineered against Sanders in favor of Hillary 4 years ago how could any Berny supporter be surprised? That would require a special kind of stupid. Oh! maybe they ARE surprised.

Well, it IS the Clintoon News Network and the Clintoons HATE Bernie. It is endlessly hilarious to see the various dem components turn on certain candidates to support their favorites. Yet in doing so, they fail to consider these attacks are being saved up for the general election and also that many of the attacks could be applied to ANY other dem candidate who ALL want to play Santa Claus with public money to buy votes. Poor CNN, they have alienated another group. Soon the only viewership they will have is the night cleanup crew in airports. This public breaking and fading into failure is what is happening to the dem party overall. It is fracturing and failing. After they are wiped out in the election they will crumble into a fractious mess.

I would like to say that comrade Bernie is consistent and hope he keeps on pushing. CNN just can't bring themselves to see that the crazy communist is the face of the democrat party not Joe Biden. It scares CNN but they better hop on the Bernie train because he's going to win. Hillary cannot stop him this time. If Bernie doesn't win this time and could live long enough he'll run again his base is always there. There's that young congress woman that is just like Bernie and as nuts as he is. Good luck comrade Bernie you deserve it.

The last authentic newsman at CNN was Bernard Shaw, who clobbered Michael Dukakis in a debate against George H.W. Bush. Dukakis was anti-death penalthy, so Bernard Shaw asked Kukakis, "If your wife, Kitty, was raped and murdered, would you still be anti-death penalty?" Dukakis answered in his robotic voice, "Yes." Dukakis, who had been leading Bush, went down the drain precisely at that point. The CNN question to Bernie should have been asked to Cherokee Lizzie, as well. It was a fair inquiry.

John Lennon’s “Imagine” is a seductive ballad that asks us to dream of a world at peace, a place where there’s “nothing to kill or die for.” Nice sentiment if you live in San Francisco and still have flowers in your hair, but it makes for a terrible foreign policy. Someone needs to tell that to the Democrats running for president. The Democrats couldn’t wait 10 minutes before unloading on President Trump, condemning him for needless provocation, for taking the United States to “the brink of war,” because he ordered the drone strike that took out Iran’s top general, Qassem Soleimani.

For the past several years, it has become a cute aspect of Democrats in the media and in elected office to allege, without any evidence whatsoever, that their Republican opponents are operating in service of Russia. It has been repeatedly stated on cable news by a litany of Democrats – without any demands they prove such claims – in behavior that hosts on MSNBC and CNN treat as cute commentary instead of what it really is: allegations of the deepest kind of treachery to the nation they serve. It’s sickening in a way that goes far beyond Harry Reid’s obvious lies about Mitt Romney not paying any taxes.

One of the most memorable scenes from Meredith Willson’s “The Music Man” comes when traveling salesman Harold Hill tries to trick the people of River City into believing “they’ve got trouble” in their small Iowa town so he can launch a scheme to swindle them out of their money. Now, with less than three weeks until the Iowa caucuses get underway, we are seeing a similar scene play out: Democrats are crisscrossing the Hawkeye State frantically trying to convince Iowans that they are in serious trouble under President Trump and the only salvation is succumbing to socialism. This shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Last February, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez threatened House Democrats who dared to work with Republicans, saying they were “putting themselves on a list” and that she would help challengers unseat them in 2020. At the time, her more seasoned colleagues assumed such rhetoric would abate once she learned how Congress operates. Rep. Kurt Schrader (D-Ore.), for example, gave her the benefit of the doubt: “She’s new here, feeling her way around. She doesn’t understand how the place works yet.” Presumably, Shrader was disabused of this fantasy when he found his name among the 24 House Democrats who will soon be “primaried” by candidates backed by two Political Action Committees linked to AOC.

Last Saturday in Iowa, the day after an American MQ-9 Reaper dropped its ordnance on Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad, Joe Biden moved quickly to make himself the face of Democratic opposition to President Donald Trump’s drone strike. It was early evening at a Des Moines elementary school gymnasium, and despite the dip in temperature and the long lines to get inside, a larger and more engaged audience than the ones he attracted over the summer and fall was waiting for the former vice president. It was a white-collar crowd—Des Moines-area lawyers and insurance industry professionals and a smattering of D.C.

Vice President Joe Biden, fresh off attacking Republicans for writing an open letter to the Iranian regime, is pushing for $1 billion in new aid to Central America. Reminder, in autumn of 2001, right after the 9/11 attacks, Joe Biden wanted to send $200 million to the Iranian regime. At the Tuesday-morning meeting with committee staffers, Biden launches into a stream-of-consciousness monologue about what his committee should be doing, before he finally admits the obvious: “I’m groping here.” Then he hits on an idea: America needs to show the Arab world that we’re not bent on its destruction. “Seems to me this would be a good time to send, no strings attached

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi defiantly held on to the articles of impeachment Thursday despite cracks in support from congressional Democrats and ramped up efforts by Senate Republicans to take matters into their own hands. The California Democrat suggested she won’t block the Senate trial indefinitely, saying the two articles of impeachment against President Trump would be transmitted “soon.” But she insisted the Senate first make public the rules for the trial. Precedent dictates that the trial cannot start until the House speaker sends the articles to the upper chamber.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has repeatedly portrayed President Trump as an existential threat to the republic. As she put it when announcing the House impeachment inquiry, “The actions taken to date by the president have seriously violated the Constitution.” She later justified her mad rush to hold an impeachment vote in December by claiming it was necessary “to defend democracy.” In reality, by presiding over the hyper-partisan passage of two inscrutable articles of impeachment and holding them hostage until the Senate allows her to dictate how it will conduct the president’s trial, Pelosi has revealed that she is the genuine menace to our unique system of government.

Should the missile attack on Iraqi bases housing U.S. troops turn out to be the extent of Iran's response, then the operation to kill Iranian terrorist leader Qassem Soleimani will turn out to be a major victory for President Trump. Though the Pentagon has yet to release a full damage assessment, preliminary reports suggest that Iran's action resulted in no U.S. casualties. After days of tough talk and chants of, "Death to America," Iranian officials are now claiming that they have no interest in further escalation if the United States does not retaliate. This could be it.

Several witnesses who testified before House impeachment investigators said President Donald Trump ordered the hold on the critical military assistance.

Harvard has released a radical proposal to fix America's broken democracy.Researchers suggest Congress needs to pass legislation reducing the size of Washington, D.C. to just a few core federal buildings and declaring its 127 neighborhoods as states. These new states would add enough votes for Congress to rewrite the Constitution in a way that 'every vote counts equally' by ratifying four amendments. The plan entails equal representation in both the Senate and the House, replacing the Electoral College with a popular vote and modifying 'the Constitution's amendment process that would ensure future amendments are ratified by states representing most Americans.'
