It was very subtle. Few picked up on its deeper ramification, not in the Left media, not in the pro-Trump media. Maybe it took a combination rabbi–attorney to detect the nuance in three words spoken out of turn, a sinful hate. As Nancy Pelosi lost her standoff with Mitch McConnell, bowing to the collapse of support even within her own Democrat caucus, she finally bit the bullet and conceded that she would have to submit her impeachment articles without having won a single face-saving concession from her Senate opponents after a fortnight of dangling the articles in her hallucination that she was dangling candy

She'll be just like Hillary. She'll lose the House and either resign or be relegated to the back rows and she'll never, ever shut up. She'll down two or three Bloody Mary's and go on every talk show to disparage the President and all of his supporters. A sad and despicable old hag.

Short, entertaining read. Yes Nancy, you impeached our President. Then, a year later, the American public took control of the House away from your party and returned our President to office for another four years.

I love the sentiments in this article and the hopeful truth it expresses. I think it is likely to play out like this.
Unfortunately, killing the vile thing that the dems/media/Left/DeepState has become will take a while, even if we keep at it. When Trump is reelected we will have to listen to the shrieks and predictions of disaster that will come from the media. They will learn little from their loss, no matter how massive a repudiation of them it is. We know this since BO set the tone to ignore the electorate in 2010 and they have followed it since. The Deep State is still alive and active and will react as it is pulled, tentacle by tentacle from government. Conservative court ruling from Trump's appointees will set the Left's hair on fire. The violent elements of the Left, cut off from legitimate power, may turn to overt violence. The state based elements of the Left, like in Virginia, will not go peacefully.
We will win many battles but the feeling of victory that we might expect will take a lot of work to finally achieve.

Refreshing to see an article that puts the boot in and doesn't mollify it by repeated the received wisdom that Pelosi is a shrewd operator. She's a vainglorious fool convinced that media adulation equates to popular support.

I must admit I'm terrified that the Repubs will turn on Pres. Trump and remove him from the office that we put him into. Has Nancy Pelosi really lost, then? Even as Susan Collins contemplates the "need" to hear witnesses? That means that Ms. Pelosi has really won. Don't mean to be a downer, but I wish I had more confidence. I know that God's got this, no matter what evil people do. But, that doesn't mean that this country will continue as founded. It may very well be that we will be punished for not standing up against evil as much as we should have. OR, it could be as the author of the article says and that Pres. Trump is reelected, then cleans out the swamp, and America can go forward, hopefully standing up against the evil that has been perpetuated because of our evil rulers. Prayers are needed more than ever!!

Don’t worry, #5. In order to oust PDT something like 20 Republican senators would have to turn against their constituents and risk their cushy sinecure jobs to vote for it. Not going to happen.

#5 Remember Garland! Have faith in McConnell. This is legacy building for him and he won't be pushed around in the senate by fence sitters.

Me, too. I'm worried like #5 is.
Yes, 20 Republican senators would have to vote to have Trump impeached and removed. And no, that's not gonna happen.
But is that really the Demo's goal? Nope. They KNOW the chances of removing Trump after a Senate trial are minuscule. So WHY are they even pursuing this further?
The answer is that their goal has never been to remove Trump through impeachment, which is hopeless. Instead, their goal has always been to prevent Trump from being RE-ELECTED.
Pelosi took a huge gamble by holding onto those Articles and it appears to have paid off. Her biggest fear was that the Senate would vote to dismiss and that would be the end of the drama. Holding those Articles allowed time for some Republicans to start squirming---which they predictably did. Once she knew there weren't enough votes to dismiss, she had a wide open path to accomplish her REAL goal---which is to do everything possible to PREVENT Trump from being REELECTED.
The Demos WANTED a trial, and they got it. The longer, the better. While Trump's character is being assassinated by an endless parade of Ballsey-Ford types witnesses at a trial, Bloomberg will spend a billion if necessary to concurrently run anti-Trump ads 24/7. As far as the trial coverage, the media will only report cherry-picked testimony that paints Trump as a crook. And they will dutifully NOT report anything that makes the Biden's look bad. Trump will be attacked on all fronts, 24/7, right up to Election Day.
The Demos KNOW that they can't remove Trump through impeachment. But they're hoping they can remove him from office by preventing his reelection. Same goal, different method.

I pray this article comes true. I have not seen any articles mapping out how we are going to win the house back.
I pray President Trump is re-elected in a landslide and that we do win the house back. Then I hope that PT can do everything he wants to do and those few dreadful RINO's we have left, that will be on all the TV shows, would shut up. That last part will never happen.

I like to believe that in the Senate, some of Schmuck Schumers dems will vote against impeachment. There have to be a few that, deep down, would put the country 1st. Some come from states PDT won and they are up for re-election.

On the Mark Levin show last night, he discussed this upcoming Senate trial. And I agree with Mark. When Pelosi refused to immediately send over the articles of impeachment, McConnell should have just dismissed the impeachment and said: no articles, no trial. But by going through with this charade but very damaging impeachment trial, where the likes of Collins, Murkowski, Romney can much things up. The Senate is giving legitimacy to the un Constitutional impeachment process under the "leadership" of Pelosi and Schiff and do long term damage. to the Constitution and the rule of law. The House has denied the President due process.

McConnell said it very precisely the first days. "She imagines she has some leverage by failing to deliver what we do not want." Yep.
She really is a crazy old bat, and she lost this totally.

The upcoming problem will be a third-party (UNIPARTY-sponsored) run by Mitt Romney or Jeff Flake, both "moderate Republicans". Their objective is not to win, but to siphon votes for a PDT defeat in key electoral states. And they will bang on impeachment to the "moderate (NeverTrump) Republicans and "moderate" independents and Democrats. Won't take much...a few percentage points here and there. Don't sell the threat short; don't think this is anywhere near in the bag for Trump's re-election. Hubris...
