In the cascade of attention swirling around the death of General Suleimani, there was another story out there — a very significant media story — that has a major impact for America. It was a press release that began this way. IHeartMedia Extends Partnership with Rush Limbaugh--New York, NY – January 7, 2020 – iHeartMedia, the leading audio company in America with a greater reach in the U.S. than any other radio or television outlet, announced today it has renewed and extended its partnership with Rush Limbaugh, the most-listened-to national radio talk show host in America. Specific terms were not announced,

Limbaugh is an asset to conservatism. I'm glad he's sticking around.
As for the value of elites, Bill Buckley and the first 2,000 names in the Boston telephone directory comes to mind.

I've been a daily Rush listener since 1992. I can't imagine the political discussion without him. I analyze current events, draw a conclusion, then tune in to Rush to get verification that I'm on the right track. No offense to Mark Steyn and the other fill-ins, but the program just isn't the same when Rush is away. It's great that he'll be broadcasting for years to come.

I wish the contract was not with Iheart, which is not a well managed organization. I will not listen to their stations. I can get Rush elsewhere.

Excellent commentary. Rush has plow a lot of ground, and planted a lot of conservative seeds.
And he has undermined the Enemedia tremendously on his own, and made a place for many other conservative talk show hosts to help undermine the Enemedia's grip on the country.
Well done, Rush, very well done. Keep up the good work for another 20 years.

Sorry. Not a fan. Hypocrite writ large, from his formerly nicotine stained finger until the Dominican cigars came along to Marta, the love of his life until the divorce and the Florida babes came along. Congrats on your new contract. It's called residuals and if you the truth you don't need the money. You're just surfing.

When Rush and Trump are no longer around on a daily basis, life is going to be so boring......

Rush almost single handedly started the revolution against the MSM’s
lock on public discourse. Many years ago Hillary was overheard saying “we need to do something about him”. Meaning, of course, some way to shut him up. He was too dangerous...a man speaking the truth about the left cannot be allowed free speech.

Have listened to Rush since the early '90's. He's a 'national treasure' and keeps us optimistic and confident because we know he's speaking on our behalf, his influence is widespread and he tells 'the truth'. Have never, ever heard him be uncivil to any caller - an amazing fact considering all the years and some of his callers. He is, without a doubt, a wise and decent man, extremely pleasant and entertaining, and loves his country with a passion. He is truly a great American. Can't even imagine life without him for all these years, and I'm so happy he's not about to quit. We need him - perhaps now more than ever.

without Rush, the republican party would be on the ash heap of history. Medicare for all, amnesty and open borders would be a fact. The Green New Deal would have been passed, your 401K would have been taken over by the government, oil drilling and fracking would have been banned. The military gutted......shall I go on?
Its impossible to overstate the effect that Rush has had in, if not saving the republic, at least putting the breaks on its demise. He may or may not be a "Hypocrite writ large", but he ISNT wrong.

Rush always told me that "conservatism wins, every time it's tried". Then he left Ted Cruz flapping in the wind and supported Trump like there was no difference. I dropped my 24/7 membership. Yes, Trump has pleasantly surprised me, yes, he is way better than Hillary, but no, he was never a conservative. Likewise, got rid of our dish after Fox did the same thing. Have not looked back, have not missed them.
