President Donald Trump questioned FBI Director Christopher Wray about his regret over the “errors” committed by the bureau in the FISA application process. The president tweeted Saturday in response to Wray’s letter to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court acknowledging “the errors and omissions” in obtaining surveillance warrants on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. (Tweet) “Chris, what about all of the lives that were ruined because of the so-called ‘errors?'” Trump asked. “Are these ‘dirty cops’ going to pay a big price for the fraud they committed?”

There were no”errors,” just calculated risks, which they calculated at zero that ramrod would lose, especially with the “insurance policy.”

Mr. President, FBI Director Chris Wray is part of the problem, not the solution. Kick his a-s to the curb and replace him with someone that actually believes in the FBI motto of Fidelity, Bravery and Integrity!

Everyone, and I mean everyone, who participated in all this treasonous activity needs to be in prison will no chance of parole for the rest of their lives for treason against America, our Constitution, and our Bill of Rights.
If there is not an example set for all these traitors involved in this treason our entire justice system needs to be tossed out and rebuilt with true Americans serving in a new Justice Department.

Wray's words and continued inaction do nothing to inspire confidence that he is anything but a willing participant in the cover up. Why is he still employed?

FISA needs to be repealed. There will always be unscrupulous law enforcement officers and prosecutors that are more interested in their own power than protecting others. How many times have the stories been uncovered where the unlimited resources of the government is used to force a citizen to accept a plea deal only because they can not afford the legal expenses? The US Constitution is nearly prescient in its wisdom, and any legislation that contravenes the intent of the Constitution should never even make it out of committee. Thank goodness President Trump is talking about the citizens' ruined lives because of this abuse. It's the first time I'm ever heard anyone in government mention that side of it.

"substantially renewed institutional focus on ensuring accuracy, transparency, and completeness"
OMG, it's like you are giving corrections on a poor performance review and recommending them to be given additional corporate training. It's pathetic.
There are SERIOUSLY broken methods and flaws in accountability that need to be addressed. The FBI has shown that it has the capability to sidestep procedures and responsibility and "promising" not to do it again is not enough. This is a MAJOR issue that put the country through unnecessary torture based on fraudulent behaviors. No, we cannot and MUST NOT trust the FBI not to do this again. There must be additional codified (LAW) roadblocks against FBI freedom of actions. There must be NO actions against political campaigns unless the FBI consults with bipartisan oversight outside the FBI and gets written approval. If the leadership breaks that law they are subject to immediate termination with prejudice against their pension and criminal penalties. If an FBI agent leaks to the media, they WILL be terminated and forfeit their pension. These Mickey Mouse games MUST stop.

He’s a dirty cop. He has to go. President Trump understands. I’m concerned about the FBI, CIA, and the DOJ. They’ve been compromised with 8 years of Obama and his minions. I understand how top law enforcement could become corrupt but where are the underlings with integrity and morality. Where are our whistle blowers?

Trump should NOT accept such a lame apology. If the FBI truly regretted what's been done, there would be charges and people being held accountable. All they're trying to do is cover for each other.

There needs to be at least three dozen 'dirty cops' and 'dirty prosecutors' put in prison for at least a decade each. They'll need to add a new Obama Wing at Leavenworth if they imprison all that deserve it.

They arent dirty cops because they arent cops at all. They dont arrest criminals, they dont investigate crimes and they dont patrol neighborhoods. All they are is corrupt bureaucrats who sell influence and favors from behind a desk.

Wray is an Rosenstein boy. He needs to be let go now!! He continues to make excuses for the dirt within this agency. Many still need to be fired and the FISA Judge that signed off on these dirt filled warrants need to be removed immediately.
As much as I hate to say this, Jeff Sessions is a member of the Deep State. A lot of this could have been stopped and exposed but he chose to bury all the corrupt dirt (Mueller investigation, etc) along with his partner in crime Rosenstein.

Those who signed off on the FISA warrants need to be terminated. So, lets see. Comey? Gone. Rosenstein? Gone. Yates? Gone. McCabe? Gone. Now there must be jail terms for those under the above named who in theory provided intelligence resulting in FISA warrants. Clinesmith? Altered documents to justify a FISA warrant extension. Who directed him to do so? And the list will go on.

When Wray talks...no one listens. He does not instill any confidence in anyone I know. They see him as part of the same old CYA movement that is all about more of the same. I think there are probably thousands of better choices than him out there and available.

If the FISA Court is eliminated, a lower standard for obtaining warrants on Americans would apply. FISA was supposed to protect against such lower standards.
We need as FISA Court process where integrity is reestablished. That means we have to see the wayward FBI agents criminally punished.
As I recall, California had a law, brought up during the OJ Simpson criminal trial, where if Mark Furman had actually planted evidence, and it was proved, he faced a serious stretch of jail time. Is providing false information to the FISA Court really that much different from planting a bloody glove?

Sorry for second post, but there are so many layers to what's going on all over the place.
But, in re-reading the comments, it occurred to me that Prince Harry is relying on Obama and Clinton for advice and counsel. Harry, look at what's happened to all of our institutions! Find someone else to advise and counsel you and yours.

This is lip service. Even a small time cop knows that unverified hearsay is not probable cause. Including that in a warrant and signing your name is criminal and knowingly railroading a suspect. Wray needs to go now, this is not training issue which he wants to make it.

Errors, give us a freakin break. These so called errors were committed for one reason. To defraud and mislead the FISA courts. These admitted alterations to the documents was the basis for the Mueller investigations meant to impeach the president. The whole Mueller investigation should be wiped clean because all of it was based on a hoax perpetrated by the deep state, the highest officials in the DOJ. Even the impeachment trial should be thrown out. Why, because all of it is based on a hoax. All information to start this witch hunt came from an unidentified whistle blower with no first hand knowledge. Nobody has even questioned this invisible person. Think about it. Democrats are attempting to impeach our president based on a spy, an informant, who has no first hand information and was never called as a witness. Only in Cuba and North Korea does this happen. Get it yet.

Put them on trial, long prison sentences in a "hard time" facility and take away their pensions. That's something that the establishment understands. If unpunished, it will undoubtedly recur in the future. Certain punishment is all that corrupt individuals understand.
