A good thing O&M had their flings at Buckingham Palace. Won’t be invited back again any time soon. I imagine that the Queen is looking at PDJT and Melania with fresh new eyes about now. They are the American straight arrows, not those grifters from South Chicago.

Harry is weak. Megan won't put up with him very long. He will no longer be the bread winner. She'll move on. I've always wondered who paid for her trip to the UK when she was a teenager? I could not afford to go there when I was a teen. Bet it was her father who gave her everything including a career in show business. She left him and her husband. She'll move on to the next sucker as soon as she gets rid of His Weakness.

I used to feel bad for Harry—still do in many ways. He fell in love with a Hollywood type who has led him to this disastrous course. He is turning his back on his family, his country and his royal lineage (if Charles is in fact his father). Tragic really. Sadly, the Queen probably knew this would happen when Harry brought the Hollywood grifter home to meet the family. QE2 is a pretty smart lady.

If you remember The Wizard of Oz you will recall that Toto, Dorothy’s dog, pulled back the curtain, revealing that the wizard was just a little guy working a panel of sound and light gimmicks to fool people into thinking he was more omnipotent than he really was. In the same way, the President’s killing of Qassem Soleimani and the aftermath reveals the four-decades-long treatment of Iranian terrorism and Israel by the foreign-policy establishment -- our presidents from Jimmy Carter up to now -- and Congress was based on myths. The brilliant Caroline Glick makes the case. For the past 40-odd years, two narratives have guided American Middle East policy.

For most of the twenty-first century, the world’s oldest surviving democracy has been led by a chief executive who received fewer votes than his opponent in an election for the position. The first of these executives started a war based on false pretenses that killed hundreds of thousands of civilians. The second — a serial abuser of women who hired as his campaign manager a lobbyist for violent dictatorships - authorized an immigration policy that forcibly separated migrant children from their families and indefinitely detained them in facilities described as “concentration camps.” Democracy, as they say, is messy.
