Former CIA Director John Brennan said on Tuesday that he never heard any discussion about targeting Qassem Soleimani during Brennan's time in the Obama administration -- even though Soleimani "was my principle nemesis," Brennan told MSNBC's "Morning Joe."MSNBC's Willie Geist noted that the Obama administration "had its opportunities" to kill Soleimani: (Video) "This guy wasn't exactly bin Laden hiding in caves and being protected in secret compounds in Pakistan," Geist noted. "He was out in the open.

I'm sure there were opportunities to get Soleimani. But Obama had not just disinterested but rather dead set against it.

Agree with #1. To Obama and Brennan, Soleimani was an ally.

Well, sure. Obama was anti-American, just like Slimbucket was. No reason to hurt your friends.

Really Brennan. That's like saying Hitler had no reason to target Tojo. They were allies, stupid.

Obama gave him $1.3 Billion to fund his terror machine, so of course he was considered an "ally" by the previous Administration.

"No reason" to target Soleimani under Obama, says the (former?) communist and CIA director, in direct contradiction of General Petraeus, who said that it was difficult to underestimate the significance of his death. Who do you believe?

I'm sure ValJar (Iranian) would have had something to say about that.

John Brennan is probably correct, as the Obama agenda was to appease the Iranians and not attack them, no matter how many American military personnel the Iranians killed and wounded. You can see that Democrat appeasement of the Iranians continues, by the way they have been acting, and saying since the top Iranian terrorist was blown away.

Based on the comments from leading Democrats, it's more than likely this general was a possible asset, or a source they were able to use.
Otherwise, how do you explain their comments about a person who's been responsible for hundreds of U.S. soldier's deaths, likely helped aid the recent attack of the U.S. Embassy (sovereign U.S. land), and was designated a terrorist by the Obama administration, who was not supposed to leave Iran, but found himself in Iraq under the cover of darkness?

If Brennan says there was no reason to attack, that means there was reason to attack. Even if you weren't dealing with a Democrat, what other reason would there be to say that at this time?

Of course there wasn't John. He was planning on your next trip over and a few rounds of golf followed by some beers and cigars at the 19th Hole. Obama wouldn't snuff out one of his favorite Muzbros because he knew Lil Q got some of the $150 Billion and needed some time to stash it and buy some toys. Im sure some of it made it's way back to the DNC and lined the pockets of those that made it all possible.

Brennan, so, you are still looking forward to that Durham report and AG Barr's findings? Orange jumpsuit ready?

They are all on the same side. Hussein Obama & Brennan are Muslims.
