Nancy Pelosi fancies herself a foreign policy expert who not only must be consulted by the president’s foreign policy team, but who can set or manipulate American foreign policy. Recall her foray into Middle East policy a decade ago, when she defied the Bush State Department, met with Bashar al-Assad in Syria, and declared him the key to bringing peace to the Middle East.
Here is what Shadow Secretary Pelosi said about the killing Gen. Soleimani:
American leaders’ highest priority is to protect American lives and interests. But we cannot put the lives of American servicemembers, diplomats and others further at risk

This woman is a mental case! And to think she is so close to the office of president! And did the rapist Clinton ask congress for permission when he bombed a aspirin factory with a cruise missile? Scary!

On the positive side, I suspect that many Jihadis out there are going to bed tonight knowing full well they may wake up dead in the morning......

Remember also that BO personally and with pride was picking terrorists (many) to be killed by drone attacks. The dems had no problems with that. Pelousy is completely disingenuous and is working against the welfare of the US as are the rest of the dems.

One thing is for sure, Iranian generals won't be traveling to Bagdad to plan attacks. Additionally, the mullahs have to be worried about their ability to control the Iranian populace if more high Iranian government officials die.

If Trump had even whispered his intent to a member of Congress it would have been a headline in the WaPo and NYT by morning.

If I was a jihadi 'leader', I don't think I would sleep safely ever again...which is a good thing...let them quiver in their sandals while they sleep next to stinking camels and in mud huts...

Well she and her son Paul are hip deep in the finest kinds of corruption with crooks all over the world at the moment. So I gues that gives her some kind of foreign policy experience. Just not the kind the rest of us wants.

As soon as the President said anything to these rats it would have been on a crawler at the bottom of the screen at CNN and MSNBC. And Omar would have ben on her direct hot-line to terrorist central to warn them. Screw them, they're all working against real Americans interests.

It would not surprise me if Pelosi didn't have Soleimani's phone number on the "favorite"s list of her cell phone.

Mirengoff is generally NOT a fan of President Trump, and I was shocked to see a David French commentary quoted which supported the President's action. French has been completely unhinged since about a year before the election, such is his irrational hatred for President Trump. Perhaps French and Mirengoff beginning to let the 'hate colored glasses' drop from their eyes a bit and seeing that the President is doing good things, in many ways, in many spheres.
And Nutty, Nasty Nan is a idiot, and you can be sure she didn't even write "her" statement. Ignore the crazy woman.

With old age usually comes greater wisdom. Pelosi is a glaring exception.
The only thing she hasn't done true to form for an old failure of a democrat is to run for President. Could she be the democrats' secret weapon in 2020?

Killing Soleimani nets us a lot more than the loss of a dangerous and effective general to Iran. The psychological effect is far greater than just his death and his military genius. Iran had been crowing about American cowardice and has been forced to eat those words of bluster. That equates to a loss of face across the entire world.
Imagine if General Patton had been killed before wiping up the Germans all over Europe. Imagine if MacArthur had been killed in the Pacific theater. How about Sitting Bull in the Old West? Yes, they would have been replaced but the loss would have far greater implications than one man.

Let's not knock Nasty Nancy, she's only as good as her speech writer, who is either Paul Begala, or Jeff Epstein's 'separated at birth' twin, David Corn these days.
