Missouri Republican Sen. Roy Blunt said Tuesday the Senate will be done with its impeachment trial by the time President Donald Trump delivers the State of the Union speech on February 4. Blunt went on Missouri radio station KSSZ to discuss the Senate impeachment trial, saying he believes the Senate will “be done with this by the time the president comes” to address Congress for his State of the Union speech. The Missouri Senator also said he believes the trial will happen “quickly.” “What’s happening on the impeachment front doesn’t seem too be complicated; it’s an issue I wish the country wasn’t dealing with.

FTA: ''Pelosi has said she believes Trump is “goading” Democrats to impeach him because he thinks it will help him fire up his base.'' Nancy, hate to tell you this but, the base is a roaring inferno RIGHT NOW! And those flames will only get higher when you're Party of Corruption starts getting locked up for an attempted coup.

You know this whole impeachment charade will be over before the SOTU speech. Over but not forgotten. If I was Madame Speaker Nancy, I'd ask Trump to just mail it in. For her and the rest of the 'Rats, the state of the union ain't so rosy. If President Trump wants to be really effective, he would not mention the whole impeachment farce one damned time during the entire State of the Union speech. Instead he should just hammer home all the achievements and successes and promises kept over the last three years with emphasis on how little help he has received from the "Loyal Opposition".

The Senate shouldn't spend over one day on this whole fraud. Just flush it like the sewage that it is.

The Democrats are succeeding in locking up the government and making the issue nothing but Trump. Nothing else being done, or discussed.

For the sake of his own impeachment dreams, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-California, ought to shut up and stop saying the quiet part out loud. The House Judiciary chairman began the second day of the Senate's impeachment trial by admitting the unconscionable. "If not remedied by his conviction in the Senate and removal from office, President Trump’s abuse of his office and obstruction of Congress will permanently alter the balance of power among the branches of government," the lead impeachment manager said. "For precisely this reason, the president’s misconduct cannot be decided at the ballot box, for we cannot be assured that the vote will be fairly won."

Adam Schiff, the House manager leading the impeachment case against President Trump, did an excellent job of presenting a fundamentally flawed and fallacious argument in his opening statement yesterday. Schiff is a former federal prosecutor who was articulate and seemingly factual and well-prepared, albeit a little self-righteous. He quoted extensively from White House documents and the testimony of aides and officials who were concerned about the temporary hold on military aid to Ukraine, which gave his presentation an undeserved aura of credibility. But Schiff provided absolutely no factual support for the crucial premise on which his entire case depends. Schiff asserted repeatedly, without providing any evidence,

Who is she, I’m confused” Mnuchin said before asserting that he was just joking.“After she goes and studies economics in college she can come back and explain that to us,”

Just two weeks into Donald J. Trump’s presidency, Eric Ciaramella—the CIA operative widely believed to be the anti-Trump “whistleblower”— was overheard discussing with another White House staffer the need to remove the president from office, Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations reported on Wednesday. Ciaramella was at the time on loan to the White House as a top Ukrainian analyst in the National Security Council (NSC). He had previously served as an adviser on Ukraine to then-Vice President Biden. “Just days after he was sworn in they were already talking about trying to get rid of him,” a White House colleague who overheard their conversation told RCI. “
