Elizabeth Warren's fibbing

Maybe Democrats have decided that, in the era of President Trump, honesty is no longer required. Or maybe Elizabeth Warren is just too insecure to tell the truth about her own life. Whatever the reason, the Massachusetts senator has built her campaign on a foundation of exaggerations and misrepresentations. It's common knowledge by now that Warren, one of the top four 2020 Democratic presidential contenders, identified as a Native American, despite being somewhere between 0.1% and 3% Native American and having zero experience in tribal life. If only her misrepresentations began and ended there. Ask her constituents in Massachusetts and they may remind you that the senator also fibbed when she promised

They never actually say exactly what the President has lied about. Unless it’s something like “He said he’d build the wall”. Really? Not his fault.

I can’t stand Warren either but I despise the press and gotcha journalism. The fact that it has been proven that Warren sent one child to private school for one year decades ago doesn’t negate her words about supporting public schools, at least to my mind. She is a liar and a phony but using her son’s very brief time at a private school to make a very broad argument that Warren is lying about her children’s schooling is gruel that is perhaps way too thin to be sensible. A better question is: if she thinks public ed is so great, why does she teach at the most selective and ridiculously expensive private law school. Now there’s some rich soil.

She also claimed her parents had to run away to get married because her mother was an Indian. She also claimed that she was fired from her teaching job because of her pregnancy. The list goes on and on. I guess she is trying to emulate Hillary who still gets away with it.

"almost all politicians have an inconsistent commitment to the truth — Trump worse than most." According to media who are 90+% negative about Trump and are dutifully working to get their own credibility scores to ZERO. They are throwing up a Trump straw man and then trying to create a moral equivalence. Media is desperate to ignore or excuse dem/media/Leftist lies because they are so prolific. Once it becomes established that they are consistent liars, they are finished. Sure, about 20% - 30% of the country lives in a fantasyland where dems lies hold sway. But the dems will never win national elections with those numbers. They only win when they LIE to the people who vote for them and get away with it.

Cherokee Lizzie didn't undergo an Ancestry DNA analysis, like most people do. She sought out a professor who concluded that she has a wee bit of DNA that he compared to indigenous South American Indians, imputing North American Indian DNA. The problem with that approach is that most white people have the same slight match, even those in Europe. It is ridiculous for the Examiner to talk about her Indian DNA. And dishonest. Cherokee Lizzie also lied about her children and private school. But her life's academic work, on bankruptcy, is the biggest lie of all. Credit card debt is the typical reason for bankruptcy, but if someone filed for bankruptcy with multiple debts - Auto loan, credit card debt, and had even a tiny medical debt, Lizzie concluded that the medical debt was the cause of bankruptcy. And that is a lie. Now let's look at DJT's 'lies,' DJT is a New Yorker. I have had students from NYC, as well as colleagues, and I swear every last one of them exaggerated. It is what NYC people do. But his exaggerations are nothing more than silly, and I discount them. Cherokee Lizzie's lies cause serious problems. Obama care was justified, in part, by Cherokee Lizzie's lie about medical debts causing bankruptcy, and some of the dimocrat candidates are still using that lie in their campaigns. The editorial board of the Washington Examiner should fact check itself.

“Elizabeth Warren sure does lie a lot about her background.” Learned at the feet of the last successful leftist presidential candidate, B. Hussein 0bama. We STILL don’t know anything true about his background. The author states that “Whataboutism" is not an actual argument. Maybe not, but it certainly does make a point.

I didn't know about the lie to her Massachusetts voters that she would finish her term if she ran for president. That insures that she could campaign full time and collect a paycheck at the same time - Just like Barack Obama did, vote "present" once in a while and run for president. That's not only dishonest to Massachusetts but also to the entire country which pays her salary and benefits.

A crime still in progress 5 replies

Crime in Progress is, inadvertently, the cruelest book ever written about the American media. Its authors, Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch, are the two former Wall Street Journal reporters who founded the DC-based consultancy Fusion GPS. In 2016, the Hillary Clinton campaign paid them to use their former media colleagues to push a conspiracy theory smearing her Republican opponent, Donald Trump. The crime is still in progress. To help top-notch journalists market the fantasy that one of the world’s most familiar faces was a secret Russian spy, Fusion GPS co-ordinated with the FBI to forge a series of ‘intelligence reports’.

The White House National Security Council staff is being downsized sharply in a bid to improve efficiency within the policy coordinating body by consolidating positions and cutting staff. A second, unspoken thrust of the overhaul is a hoped-for end to what many critics see as a string of politically damaging, unauthorized disclosures of sensitive information. Leaks of President Trump’s conversations with foreign leaders and other damaging disclosures likely originated with anti-Trump officials in the White House who stayed over from the Obama administration, according to several current and former White House officials. Every year, around the world, people bring in the New Year with a rendition of “Auld Lang Syne.” This Scottish song has long been attributed to Scotland’s most famous poet, Robert Burns (1759–1796). And yet, “Burns wasn’t the sole author,” according to Robert Crawford, Burns’s esteemed biographer (and my former professor at the University of St Andrews). “He was a co-author.” Literally, “auld lang syne” means literally “old long since,” or essentially “for old time’s sake.” Burns penned the work in 1788, but it was not printed until after his death in 1796. He had claimed that he took inspiration “from an old man’s singing,”

Orthodox Jews around the country — and specifically in the tri-state area — were still reeling from the shooting at a kosher deli earlier this month when we gathered with our families to celebrate the holiday of Chanukah. But that air of tranquility was shattered by a string of nearly a dozen anti-Semitic attacks over the holiday, the most severe of which was a mass stabbing at a rabbi’s home upstate as he lit his menorah. The stabbing attack succeeded in bringing to the fore what we visibly Orthodox Jews have known for quite some time: There’s a growing epidemic of anti-Semitism in this country, specifically targeting Orthodox Jews,

The Senate Republican playbook should be put House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on mute and get this trial started. Pelosi and the Democrats have no say in the matter. They don’t. And by withholding the articles of impeachment against President Trump because they know it faces certain death in the Republican Senate creates a new constitutional crisis of its own. But it’s also true that since modern humans emerged about 200,000 years ago, 2019 was probably the year in which children were least likely to die, adults were least likely to be illiterate and people were least likely to suffer excruciating and disfiguring diseases. Every single day in recent years, another 325,000 people got their first access to electricity. Each day, more than 200,000 got piped water for the first time.
