NY Times Exec: We Need to Figure
Out Religious People, Trump Voters

Original Article

This week on the Sunday news shows: The New York Times executive editor said journalists need to do a better job of understanding religious people, presidential candidate Andrew Yang said he is open to the possibility of prosecuting President Donald Trump once he's out of office, and Washington Free Beacon founding editor Matthew Continetti discussed the growing distrust between voters and the media. New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet said it's "odd" to be called a member of the elite, but he acknowledged journalists must do more to understand religion.

If the "Elite" want to understand their relationship to the common people, they need only to view the execution video of Nicolae and Elena Ceaușescu.

They are never going to figure us out. They arent interested in our points of view, beliefs or philosophy. They arent interested in facts that dont support or advance their own agenda. What they are interested is getting us to change pur minds with bumper sticker slogans. Failing that, the beatings will continue.

Dear Dean, the reason you will NEVER understand why people support Donald Trump is that you and your reporters will have to give up your preconceived, biased view of the world. You and your kind take comfort in NOT KNOWING what animates people of faith, of patriotic pride, of individual generosity. To you the government is all powerful and the people are merely tools to be used.

"NY Times Exec: We Need to Figure Out Religious People, Trump Voters" They don't even understand they are the problem. They think they need to figure out religious people is the key phrase I am making reference. Problems always occur when a person leans on their own understanding. Wisdom comes from God only so it is a problem when they want to figure out faithful people. They don't have the correct Resource. . .

They can't even identify specifically who they're trying to figure out but they certainly do know who it is; white male Christians. We're the only religious people to whom they're referring. They know it and we know it. Just say it. It's us. And, according to years and years of false premise based stories from Punch's news surgeons, they've already figured us out. We're all racists, bigots, homophobes and haters of all things having to do with everything the NYT believes in. In other words, we're NOTHING like what they think we are but it won't let that stop them from being wrong and making up yet more ridiculous assumptions, lumping us all into their Jimmy Swaggart and David Duke boxes because that is the ONLY thing they're going to do. Good grief, according to those fact monsters, every one of us attacked Jussie Smollett and put a noose around his neck and we'd all go to ultra liberal Chicago (you know, "MAGA country"), don our red MAGA hats at three in the morning when it's twenty below zero, and do it again just because we're all haters because we're white Christians. Those guys (SEE? There I go. "Guys" is a racist trigger word!!! HHEEELLLPPPP!") simply CANNOT figure us out because truth, which exists just outside of their echo chamber, is nowhere to be found at the gray lady or any other major city's publication, period, end of conversation. "Journalists must do more to understand religion"? Please.

The Left wants to understand the Right like a general wants to understand his enemy before he launches the assault to destroy them. This is NOT a sympathetic or appreciative understanding. It's the type of understanding that a pest control company wants to have of insects so that it can better eradicate them. Be VERY sure that the Left has no interest in treating their opposition well. The past few years have been a striking example. They will DO and SAY anything to win. They will escalate and discard legal, moral, and ethical safeguards to eliminate their enemies. They hate us because we are successfully opposing them and will not allow them to have what they want. We enabled them for decades by acting "reasonably" and tolerating their incursions, not recognizing the broader threat. Their response has been to demand more and deliver far less respect of us. They never had respect but pretended as to worm their way into the apple. Now, their part of the apple has gone to rot. They want to "understand" so to get even more of it.

The Democrats want power and to get it they need to win elections. We have had 3 years to observe what happens when they don’t. People like Ocazio-Cortez have forced them out of the closet due to her absurd belief that all Americans want what she wants - socialist government control. The mainstream of America are mad as hell and aren’t willing to take it anymore. It isn’t about religion or even Donald Trump. It’s about THEM.

President Trump is not perfect, but then he never claimed to be. However, when you compare him to all the Democrats running against him, he stands out as the far more desirable choice. He is not advocating taking the earnings of other people to use to buy votes by giving away "free stuff." Instead, he has created an economy that gives people the opportunity to earn it themselves.

Chuck Todd, who's plain stupid, is the most genuine representation of modern "journalism" in that clip. He digs up a letter he finds "interesting": anchor Chuck Todd read a letter to the editor from the Lexington Herald Leader in which the writer mocked Trump voters for being gullible. "Why do good people support Trump? It's because people have been trained from childhood to believe in fairy tales. This set their minds up to accept things that make them feel good. The more fairy tales and lies he tells the better they feel. Show me a person that believes in Noah's ark, I will show you a Trump voter," the letter said. They really think they need to "understand" such people? No. They still believe they have a calling, to enlighten those dumb clucks in JesusLand. This is the post-Watergate generation of "journalists," for whom destroying conservative values and representatives is the ultimate validation of their self-worth.

Oh it’s much much more than that, you need to read the history of human civilization and the way the powerful arm of government has abused the masses since the dawn. From the badass dictators like Genghis Khan to Charlemagne to the Muslim Caliphate to European Monarchies to the modern era’s mass murderers Stalin, Mao, and Hitler. You need to examine the events that led to the rise of the common people against the rule of those who treated them like human livestock, from the Magna Carta, Reformation, to the age of Enlightenment to the Declaration of Independence to the US Constitution and the reaffirmation embodied in the Gettysburg address. Only then do you stand a sliver of a chance of understanding us, we the people, the remaining flame of liberty, the irredeemable deplorable bitter clinging American Patriots.

We are a people who love freedom. Through Jesus Christ, we got released from the obligation to follow the law in order to please our Creator. We got a free gift of salvation through grace. So we don't appreciate politicians who would like to make laws to restrict our worship, or our freedom of speech, or our freedom to defend our family. Mr. Baquet, I hope this helps you understand why evangelicals tend to vote against democrats and tend to be against socialism. Stand fast therefore in the liberty whereby Christ has made us free, and do not wrap yourselves again in a yoke of bondage. ~Galatians 5:1

The NY Times will never understand Christianity by any other means than experiencing it. If you understood it, you would know it for yourself. It is not so much something to be understood as revealed. As for the two conflicting worldviews... I understand the NY Times because, as a Christian, I have a good understanding of the world and what makes it tick and the NY Times is doing exactly what I would expect them to do.. As a non-believing entity, the NY Times exists in a universe in which God does not exist. Therefore, they cannot understand ME nearly as much as I understand THEM.

Perhaps these “sophisticates” don’t comprehend the use of parables in the Bible. I have served on boards and chaired boards and never have I encountered a liberal who was not self-promoting and controlling. They were rarely generous with their time, their talents or their money but always elbowed their way to the front row for a photo op. A liberal’s sad sense of humor is typically mocking and humiliating. Never have I had a !liberal express any curiosity about what makes a Conservative “tick”. We are polite and respectful of their cockeyed and destructive views and they, in turn, don their vagina and condom suits and march in the streets and call us crazy. A quick lesson for the disinterested. A Conservative believes in patriotism, peace, life, prosperity and opportunity. We also believe in ‘community’ and would be able to accomplish so much more if we were not continuously cleaning up the messes Liberals create. God bless this great country and keep President Trump safe. There is so much work yet to be done.

We are all infected by ignorance. However, those who are adherents to the socialist religion are especially egregious. They only question that which challenges them and surely they view Christianity as their greatest religious opponent. They totally resist self-criticism and have no curiosity outside of self-gratification. In other words, seeking an understanding of human character is outside their purview. They are trapped in an empty space with nothing but sound bites to sustain them. Their religion is empty and valueless. Acquiring and sustaining power has no universal value. Consequently, their overwhelming ignorance turns them into shallow zealots. They are trapped in an ironic situation, professing to seek understanding when they abhor reality. The best they can do is to become smart alecks. Vacuous educations have emptied their humanity. Perhaps they would be better off shoveling real manure.

Haven't had the pleasure of conversing with a NYT reporter, but I have had discussions with their fans and it is always a fruitless exercise. They talk like they are educated and understand logic, but a few seconds into any hot button topic, like guns/self defense, and it is a minefield of emotional hate. Nothing I say gets thru, nothing. They wait till I am done with my point and they go back to the simpleton, fantasy, draconian, ideas they started with. I've never seen a faster switch to a close mind than the pious, emotional, childlike mindset of any liberal who thinks they know everything about guns, abortion, drugs, poverty, etc., but most of all human nature and how they and their troopers could 'fix' any society. It's like trying to play chess with a rabid ape.

A crime still in progress 5 replies

Crime in Progress is, inadvertently, the cruelest book ever written about the American media. Its authors, Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch, are the two former Wall Street Journal reporters who founded the DC-based consultancy Fusion GPS. In 2016, the Hillary Clinton campaign paid them to use their former media colleagues to push a conspiracy theory smearing her Republican opponent, Donald Trump. The crime is still in progress. To help top-notch journalists market the fantasy that one of the world’s most familiar faces was a secret Russian spy, Fusion GPS co-ordinated with the FBI to forge a series of ‘intelligence reports’.

The White House National Security Council staff is being downsized sharply in a bid to improve efficiency within the policy coordinating body by consolidating positions and cutting staff. A second, unspoken thrust of the overhaul is a hoped-for end to what many critics see as a string of politically damaging, unauthorized disclosures of sensitive information. Leaks of President Trump’s conversations with foreign leaders and other damaging disclosures likely originated with anti-Trump officials in the White House who stayed over from the Obama administration, according to several current and former White House officials. White House National Security Adviser Robert C. O’Brien is leading the NSC reform effort.

Every year, around the world, people bring in the New Year with a rendition of “Auld Lang Syne.” This Scottish song has long been attributed to Scotland’s most famous poet, Robert Burns (1759–1796). And yet, “Burns wasn’t the sole author,” according to Robert Crawford, Burns’s esteemed biographer (and my former professor at the University of St Andrews). “He was a co-author.” Literally, “auld lang syne” means literally “old long since,” or essentially “for old time’s sake.” Burns penned the work in 1788, but it was not printed until after his death in 1796. He had claimed that he took inspiration “from an old man’s singing,”

Orthodox Jews around the country — and specifically in the tri-state area — were still reeling from the shooting at a kosher deli earlier this month when we gathered with our families to celebrate the holiday of Chanukah. But that air of tranquility was shattered by a string of nearly a dozen anti-Semitic attacks over the holiday, the most severe of which was a mass stabbing at a rabbi’s home upstate as he lit his menorah. The stabbing attack succeeded in bringing to the fore what we visibly Orthodox Jews have known for quite some time: There’s a growing epidemic of anti-Semitism in this country, specifically targeting Orthodox Jews,

But it’s also true that since modern humans emerged about 200,000 years ago, 2019 was probably the year in which children were least likely to die, adults were least likely to be illiterate and people were least likely to suffer excruciating and disfiguring diseases. Every single day in recent years, another 325,000 people got their first access to electricity. Each day, more than 200,000 got piped water for the first time.

If you thought you can’t top the stupidity we experienced in 2019, brace yourself for 2020 because it’s going to be a pronoun-fueled weather cult pinko freakshow. But it won’t be all amusing antics – the left hates us and its ugly mask is coming off, revealing the even uglier fascist visage lurking beneath. If you listen to them, and if you aren’t an insufferable goo goo wimp who refuses to hear them, you will know that they intend to silence you, even imprison you, and deprive you of the ability to participate in your own governance. So, if you want to live as a free man or woman –

Democrats, fast on the heels of new impeachment articles against President Donald Trump, have seemed to have settled on their election and reelection strategy for 2020 — impeach ‘til the cows come home. It’s one click past witch hunt and one small, very small step before “get the somofableep!” Republicans, ever the party of the genteel, have a different phrase for it; they call it “overplaying one’s hand.” And certainly, Democrats, digging as they are for more articles of impeachment, even as they hold tight to the existing articles of impeachment, even as they send dictates over to the Senate to command-control

A columnist writing at AZCentral.com suggests it was “terrifying” that parishioners were armed at the church in White Settlement, Texas. On December 29, Breitbart News reported that a gunman at West Freeway Church of Christ opened fire, only to be shot dead by an armed parishioner. Jack Wilson, the good guy with a gun, was one of many parishioners who drew their guns to fight back when the heinous attack began. On December 31, Elivia Diaz, editorial columnist for the Republic and AZcentral.com reacted to the quick takedown of the gunman by claiming that Wilson’s defensive gun use “has turned into a PR tool by gun advocates.”

VATICAN CITY: Pope Francis apologized Wednesday for his widely-viewed slap of a woman who had grabbed his hand as he greeted Catholic faithful on New Year’s Eve. The image of Francis slapping his way free from the clutches of the admirer was an instant hit on social media. A personal apology followed. “We lose patience many times,” Francis confessed. “It happens to me too. I apologize for the bad example given yesterday,” the head of the Catholic church said before celebrating Mass at the Vatican.

Ben Rhodes, a former national security aide to former President Barack Obama, accused President Trump of pursuing a foreign policy based on “Obama envy” following news of a violent mob attacking the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad.“Trump sanctions on Iran have done nothing to change Iranian behavior except make it worse,” Rhodes, who once described the Iran Deal as “necessary … even if Iran doesn’t change,” tweeted Tuesday morning.“This is what happens when your foreign policy is based on Obama envy, domestic politics, Saudi interests, and magical right wing thinking,” he added:(Tweet)

Nothing is ever as simple as good guy versus bad guy. Reality exists mostly in varying shades of gray. But there is no question Jack Wilson acted heroically as a church volunteer security guard when he killed a killer in the sanctuary of the West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, Texas, on Sunday. Wilson, a deeply experienced firearms instructor, was legally carrying and took down a gunman with a single shot. Are we relegated to finding solace in the fact that only three people died inside of a church in the latest tragedy, and must we seek comfort

Maybe Democrats have decided that, in the era of President Trump, honesty is no longer required. Or maybe Elizabeth Warren is just too insecure to tell the truth about her own life. Whatever the reason, the Massachusetts senator has built her campaign on a foundation of exaggerations and misrepresentations. It's common knowledge by now that Warren, one of the top four 2020 Democratic presidential contenders, identified as a Native American, despite being somewhere between 0.1% and 3% Native American and having zero experience in tribal life. If only her misrepresentations began and ended there. Ask her constituents in Massachusetts and they may remind you that the senator also fibbed when she promised

Oh, Beto. Ronald Reagan once characterized people like Robert Francis "Beto" O'Rourke when he said, "It isn't so much that liberals are ignorant. It's just that they know so many things that aren't so." Such was the case when the failed presidential candidate, Mr. "Hell-Yes-I'm-Going-To-Take-Your-Guns," cleaved to his "all guns bad" fantasies Sunday on Twitter right after the Texas church shooting. Showing that the cliché, "when seconds count, cops are only minutes away," is a cliché for a reason, the wanna-be mass murderer was dispatched within six seconds of getting off his first shot, preventing a mass bloodbath. Two men were killed by the shotgun-toting bad guy

Nancy Pelosi, AKA Nasty Nancy, allowed Adam Schiff, AKA Shifty Schiff, to run the impeachment "inquiry" through Shifty's Intelligence Committee, where Shifty had total control. He set the rules to allow only the witnesses he wanted. He lied in his opening statement to commence the inquiry by making up President Trump's phone conversation with Ukraine's President Zelensky. The resulting vote to impeach was a foregone conclusion regardless of the evidence, or lack thereof. Pelosi has not sent Shifty's articles of impeachment to the Senate for a trial because she said she wants to first see the Senate trial procedures.

For Republicans, the 2010s end with the party seemingly in a better situation than it was when the decade started. The GOP has control of the White House and the Senate. Ten years ago, the Democrats held the White House and both houses of Congress. But that scorecard doesn't tell the whole story. Thanks to five major blunders over the last decade, the Republican Party is actually weaker than it was on Jan.1, 2010. To understand why, you have to document each key mistake in order:

Disturbing footage has emerged of an Orthodox Jewish man being assaulted by a group of seven teenagers as he walked down a street in Brooklyn–in what has become the 14th documented incident of anti-Semitic violence in New York in less than four weeks. The incident occurred in Crown Heights on December 24 as a Jewish man, who has not been identified, was walking down Lincoln Place near Albany Avenue when he encountered a large group of black teenagers. The man can be seen attempting to avoid their path, but as he begins to walk past them one of the teens throws a folding
