NY Times Exec: We Need to Figure
Out Religious People, Trump Voters

Original Article

Posted By: MissMolly, 12/30/2019 4:59:19 AM

This week on the Sunday news shows: The New York Times executive editor said journalists need to do a better job of understanding religious people, presidential candidate Andrew Yang said he is open to the possibility of prosecuting President Donald Trump once he's out of office, and Washington Free Beacon founding editor Matthew Continetti discussed the growing distrust between voters and the media. New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet said it's "odd" to be called a member of the elite, but he acknowledged journalists must do more to understand religion.

If the "Elite" want to understand their relationship to the common people, they need only to view the execution video of Nicolae and Elena Ceaușescu.

They are never going to figure us out. They arent interested in our points of view, beliefs or philosophy. They arent interested in facts that dont support or advance their own agenda. What they are interested is getting us to change pur minds with bumper sticker slogans. Failing that, the beatings will continue.

Dear Dean, the reason you will NEVER understand why people support Donald Trump is that you and your reporters will have to give up your preconceived, biased view of the world. You and your kind take comfort in NOT KNOWING what animates people of faith, of patriotic pride, of individual generosity. To you the government is all powerful and the people are merely tools to be used.

"NY Times Exec: We Need to Figure Out Religious People, Trump Voters" They don't even understand they are the problem. They think they need to figure out religious people is the key phrase I am making reference. Problems always occur when a person leans on their own understanding. Wisdom comes from God only so it is a problem when they want to figure out faithful people. They don't have the correct Resource. . .

They can't even identify specifically who they're trying to figure out but they certainly do know who it is; white male Christians. We're the only religious people to whom they're referring. They know it and we know it. Just say it. It's us. And, according to years and years of false premise based stories from Punch's news surgeons, they've already figured us out. We're all racists, bigots, homophobes and haters of all things having to do with everything the NYT believes in. In other words, we're NOTHING like what they think we are but it won't let that stop them from being wrong and making up yet more ridiculous assumptions, lumping us all into their Jimmy Swaggart and David Duke boxes because that is the ONLY thing they're going to do. Good grief, according to those fact monsters, every one of us attacked Jussie Smollett and put a noose around his neck and we'd all go to ultra liberal Chicago (you know, "MAGA country"), don our red MAGA hats at three in the morning when it's twenty below zero, and do it again just because we're all haters because we're white Christians. Those guys (SEE? There I go. "Guys" is a racist trigger word!!! HHEEELLLPPPP!") simply CANNOT figure us out because truth, which exists just outside of their echo chamber, is nowhere to be found at the gray lady or any other major city's publication, period, end of conversation. "Journalists must do more to understand religion"? Please.

The Left wants to understand the Right like a general wants to understand his enemy before he launches the assault to destroy them. This is NOT a sympathetic or appreciative understanding. It's the type of understanding that a pest control company wants to have of insects so that it can better eradicate them. Be VERY sure that the Left has no interest in treating their opposition well. The past few years have been a striking example. They will DO and SAY anything to win. They will escalate and discard legal, moral, and ethical safeguards to eliminate their enemies. They hate us because we are successfully opposing them and will not allow them to have what they want. We enabled them for decades by acting "reasonably" and tolerating their incursions, not recognizing the broader threat. Their response has been to demand more and deliver far less respect of us. They never had respect but pretended as to worm their way into the apple. Now, their part of the apple has gone to rot. They want to "understand" so to get even more of it.

The Democrats want power and to get it they need to win elections. We have had 3 years to observe what happens when they don’t. People like Ocazio-Cortez have forced them out of the closet due to her absurd belief that all Americans want what she wants - socialist government control. The mainstream of America are mad as hell and aren’t willing to take it anymore. It isn’t about religion or even Donald Trump. It’s about THEM.

President Trump is not perfect, but then he never claimed to be. However, when you compare him to all the Democrats running against him, he stands out as the far more desirable choice. He is not advocating taking the earnings of other people to use to buy votes by giving away "free stuff." Instead, he has created an economy that gives people the opportunity to earn it themselves.

Chuck Todd, who's plain stupid, is the most genuine representation of modern "journalism" in that clip. He digs up a letter he finds "interesting": anchor Chuck Todd read a letter to the editor from the Lexington Herald Leader in which the writer mocked Trump voters for being gullible. "Why do good people support Trump? It's because people have been trained from childhood to believe in fairy tales. This set their minds up to accept things that make them feel good. The more fairy tales and lies he tells the better they feel. Show me a person that believes in Noah's ark, I will show you a Trump voter," the letter said. They really think they need to "understand" such people? No. They still believe they have a calling, to enlighten those dumb clucks in JesusLand. This is the post-Watergate generation of "journalists," for whom destroying conservative values and representatives is the ultimate validation of their self-worth.

Oh it’s much much more than that, you need to read the history of human civilization and the way the powerful arm of government has abused the masses since the dawn. From the badass dictators like Genghis Khan to Charlemagne to the Muslim Caliphate to European Monarchies to the modern era’s mass murderers Stalin, Mao, and Hitler. You need to examine the events that led to the rise of the common people against the rule of those who treated them like human livestock, from the Magna Carta, Reformation, to the age of Enlightenment to the Declaration of Independence to the US Constitution and the reaffirmation embodied in the Gettysburg address. Only then do you stand a sliver of a chance of understanding us, we the people, the remaining flame of liberty, the irredeemable deplorable bitter clinging American Patriots.

We are a people who love freedom. Through Jesus Christ, we got released from the obligation to follow the law in order to please our Creator. We got a free gift of salvation through grace. So we don't appreciate politicians who would like to make laws to restrict our worship, or our freedom of speech, or our freedom to defend our family. Mr. Baquet, I hope this helps you understand why evangelicals tend to vote against democrats and tend to be against socialism. Stand fast therefore in the liberty whereby Christ has made us free, and do not wrap yourselves again in a yoke of bondage. ~Galatians 5:1

Perhaps these “sophisticates” don’t comprehend the use of parables in the Bible. I have served on boards and chaired boards and never have I encountered a liberal who was not self-promoting and controlling. They were rarely generous with their time, their talents or their money but always elbowed their way to the front row for a photo op. A liberal’s sad sense of humor is typically mocking and humiliating. Never have I had a !liberal express any curiosity about what makes a Conservative “tick”. We are polite and respectful of their cockeyed and destructive views and they, in turn, don their vagina and condom suits and march in the streets and call us crazy. A quick lesson for the disinterested. A Conservative believes in patriotism, peace, life, prosperity and opportunity. We also believe in ‘community’ and would be able to accomplish so much more if we were not continuously cleaning up the messes Liberals create. God bless this great country and keep President Trump safe. There is so much work yet to be done.

We are all infected by ignorance. However, those who are adherents to the socialist religion are especially egregious. They only question that which challenges them and surely they view Christianity as their greatest religious opponent. They totally resist self-criticism and have no curiosity outside of self-gratification. In other words, seeking an understanding of human character is outside their purview. They are trapped in an empty space with nothing but sound bites to sustain them. Their religion is empty and valueless. Acquiring and sustaining power has no universal value. Consequently, their overwhelming ignorance turns them into shallow zealots. They are trapped in an ironic situation, professing to seek understanding when they abhor reality. The best they can do is to become smart alecks. Vacuous educations have emptied their humanity. Perhaps they would be better off shoveling real manure.

Haven't had the pleasure of conversing with a NYT reporter, but I have had discussions with their fans and it is always a fruitless exercise. They talk like they are educated and understand logic, but a few seconds into any hot button topic, like guns/self defense, and it is a minefield of emotional hate. Nothing I say gets thru, nothing. They wait till I am done with my point and they go back to the simpleton, fantasy, draconian, ideas they started with. I've never seen a faster switch to a close mind than the pious, emotional, childlike mindset of any liberal who thinks they know everything about guns, abortion, drugs, poverty, etc., but most of all human nature and how they and their troopers could 'fix' any society. It's like trying to play chess with a rabid ape.

Seven people, all from different households, not only gathered for Thanksgiving but distributed to the media pictorial evidence of them flouting mask mandates and social distancing edicts. No governor yet claims jurisdiction over the International Space Station but the astronauts have a lot of explaining to do when they return to earth. It’s not as though they lacked for space. Governors ordering around people 250 miles above their states seems far-fetched. But so, too, did the notion of governors usurping the role of legislatures. Eight months after the initial coronavirus lockdowns, citizens docilely accept the idea of a single person dictating the laws that govern millions of people.

Pompeo was referring to the May 2018 release of three Americans detained in North Korea -- all were accused of anti-state activities.

Research psychologist Dr. Robert Epstein believes that search giant Google manipulated what content it showed users in the weeks and months before the 2020 election in a way that was highly favorable to Democrats. “We found a period of days when the vote reminder on Google’s homepage was being sent only to liberals,” Epstein said during an appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight. “Not one of our conservative field agents received the vote reminder.” After Epstein made those results public, he said Google actually “shut off that manipulation” and were showing vote reminders to everyone in the four days before the election.

The practice of democracy in our constitutional republic flourishes in the presence of contradictions. Democracy, itself, is bound by our inalienable rights, bestowed to us by our Creator. These rights, not given to us by our government by any majority or by any vote, cannot be rescinded, for they were not wrought by man. Voting is a contradiction for it is both public and private at the same time. Its process is intended to be secret, but transparent. Its agency is intensely partisan, but its effect is intended to be unifying. The legitimacy of voting must survive despite the contradictions intrinsic to the process.

Will Judge Emmett Sullivan accept President Trump’s pardon of General Michael Flynn? No one has suggested that possibility, other than The New York Sun. The general’s case, though, has become a bonfire of the vanities of one district judge who has denied the presumption of regularity to an official act of the United States government — meaning Attorney General William Barr’s attempt to drop the case. So why would Judge Sullivan credit President Trump’s workaround of a pardon? We understand, the pardon could be the least fettered of all the powers that the Constitution grants to the president.

Many conservatives have moved their social-media accounts to the more freewheeling Parler, and often have slammed the supposedly monopolistic Facebook and Twitter as they’ve decamped from those sites. I have chuckled at some of their overheated parting rhetoric — especially the widespread misunderstanding about the meaning of the word “monopoly.” A monopoly is, as the Oxford dictionary explains, “the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.” Quite obviously, if one stops doing business with a company and heads over to its competitor, then the previous company is not by definition in exclusive possession or control of a service.

Just in case you thought that all of the elections aside from the Georgia runoffs were behind us, well… they’re not. The counting is still going on in some of the congressional races and one of the tightest ones is in New York’s 22nd district. There, Democratic incumbent Anthony Brindisis is locked in a recount with Republican Claudia Tenney, who previously held the seat before him. The race gap between the two has come down to the point where Tenney is leading by 106 votes and the only ballots left to possibly be considered are the ones that were “set aside” during the initial count due to irregularities.

As we reported two days ago, Joe Biden completely made no sense when he was trying to explain the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill. It was really bad and it explains why they’re afraid to have him deliver an address to Congress or do any kind of a real solo press conference, because at this point they have to be afraid this is all going to fall apart if he does anything live and this all becomes too obvious to the American people. But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (WV) appears to have started to shift his views on the filibuster with remarks that he made on two news shows on Sunday morning. The shift from Manchin comes after he has repeatedly stated that he would not vote to end the filibuster, despite pressure from the far-Left. During the interviews on Sunday, Manchin repeatedly claimed that he was not open to ending the filibuster because he did not want to strip the minority party of their power in the Senate, but signaled that he was open to changing it.Fox News host Chris Wallace asked Manchin if he would consider “reforming the filibuster” if “Republicans

In an open letter released Sunday, Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden urged him to “honor his commitment” and include the Hyde Amendment in Democrats’ $1.9 trillion COVID-19 spending package, writing “we feel used and betrayed.” The letter states: We are very disappointed about the COVID-19 relief package’s exclusion of the Hyde Amendment, a longstanding bipartisan policy that prevents taxpayer funding for abortion. [snip] As pro-life leaders in the evangelical community, we publicly supported President Biden’s candidacy with the understanding that there would be engagement [with] us on the issue of abortion and particularly the Hyde Amendment

If you had any doubts that Meghan Markle is a manipulative piece of work, her bombshell Oprah interview Sunday night dumping on the British monarchy would set you straight. Prince Harry’s American wife accused his family of hateful racism against her baby, claimed they refused to protect her and drove her to the point of suicide. She made the incendiary and implausible charge that when she was pregnant with Archie, the royal family decreed that her unborn son would be denied the title of “prince” because her mixed race meant he might have dark skin.

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

The Royal Family was left reeling this morning after Meghan Markle tearfully revealed that the stress of royal life made her suicidal when she was five months pregnant, claimed Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed-race and said Kate Middleton made her cry before she married Harry in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple also chose to reveal that they are having a baby girl to the tens of millions of people watching the CBS show broadcast in the US before accusing the Royal Family of racism and revealing the deep rift 'Megxit' has caused with Prince Charles and Prince William.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Without question, the vast majority of Americans who support former President Donald Trump were angry and frustrated throughout 2020 passed with barely a mention of then-U.S. Attorney John Durham’s criminal investigation into the FBI’s fraudulent “Russiagate” counterterrorism operation directed at his 2016 campaign. In the weeks before the November election, word got out that then-Attorney General William Barr wasn’t going to announce any indictments or even a report on Durham’s investigation because he did not want to influence the outcome. So far, in fact, the only indictment to come out of the Durham probe is that of former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who essentially got a slap on the wrist

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
