2020 Democratic front-runner Joe Biden said miners need to find "jobs of the future" when talking about transitioning the economy away from fossil fuels.
"Anybody who can go down 3,000 feet in a mine can sure as hell learn to program as well," Biden said Monday during a campaign event in New Hampshire, according to the Washington Post's Dave Weigel. "Anybody who can throw coal into a furnace can learn how to program, for god's sake!" [Tweet]
On Sunday, Biden also said he wanted to throw fossil fuel executives in prison for damaging the environment.
"Put them in jail," he said. "I'm not joking about this." [Tweet]

Uh, Joe...unless you walked all the way to NH, then you can thank fossil fuels for getting you there. You're as hypocritical as you are stupid. When you give up your limo's and private airplanes, then you and the rest of the lying left can yap at us about fossil fuels. In the meantime, buzz off you lecherous old creep.

It would seem End of the Road Joe is some sort of misdirection, an attention-getter like "Look! A squirrel!"
There's something going on behind the curtain, that's for sure.

Anybody who can throw coal. . . .
Really, Joe?
Just because any dumb cluck can run for president doesn't mean coal mining is low-skilled work.
As I recall, Hillary (The Borg Queen) promised the miners she would render unemployed government job-training programs. That didn't go over well.
Surely Joe scolding them will go over better. Really!
Please oh please nominate Old Joe!

Corsa coal in Somerset County PA is looking for miners. They can make $100,000 a year with a little overtime. The work is hard and can be dangerous, but the demand for 'met' coal is high. Corsa's problem is finding workers who can pass a drug test. Met coal is very efficient for power plants and steel making. If it wasn't for the upsurge in Fracked Natural Gas, new clean coal plants would be a sensible investment in the US. Meanwhile the rest of the world, especially Asia, wants all the PA coal that can be shipped out of Baltimore.
BTW, PA has a lot of windmills. As soon as the subsidies stopped the windmill expansion stopped. They will soon disappear because they are a really stupid way to generate power. They must be maintained and inspected once a week all year or they tend to catch fire. The blades are fragile and short lived. They are affected by snow and ice, fairly common in PA, and they can only work within certain wind speeds. Of course big rat donors loved them so the taxpayers were forced to support these goofy designs, until now.

I thought the programming jobs were being sent to India because the people there will work for a fraction of the cost of a US employee.

This entire primary is designed to allow Hillary to swoop in and take the nomination without a fight. The fix is in.
Joe held the middle ground, while the others were demographic and geographic placeholders to keep viable candidates out of the running. Now Joe is imploding, as planned, allowing Hillary to get the nomination without a fight.
If you think this wasn’t planned and manipulated by the Clintons, you haven’t been watching for the last 30 years. Everything is fake, everything is staged.

Sure! Anyone can learn to code (program?), but will they know when to take a dump, or know how to look at one? I hope Joe runs with this.

So according to slow Joe if you don't like your present deplorable job, just learn to "program".
Don't want to drive that stinky old bus or 18 wheeler? Just learn to program.
Don't like stocking shelves? Just learn to program.
Don't like being lowly bartender? Run for Congress or learn to program. The pay is great and you get to wear a tie to work every day.

To add to the excellent post of #11, the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, in Eire, Pa., on the shore of Lake Erie, put up a large windmill.
And during a windy night, it exploded like a bomb, scattering shards of metal and plastic all over the parking lot. Fortunately, the explosion happened at Four AM, with an empty parking lot.
The Center decided not to install a new windmill.

OK, let's see if I've got this right, Joe wants to shut down the coal mines, leaving a good portion of American manufacturing and households in the dark.
What next? Sell the mines to the Chinese so we can buy our coal from them? And of course get yourself a healthy kickback, complete with jobs for Hunter and the Pelosi and Kerry kids.

Hey Joe! There are plenty of other things being mined besides coal. Instead of telling miners to 'learn to code', why not find them other jobs in the mining industry. Very inconsiderate of you, Joe. Not very Presidential at all.

Coding isn't hard! It's learning to work on large diverse projects that cross multiple platforms and networks! Mainframe, to MidRange to Desktop are all part of the architecture of extremely complex systems built over the last 30 years. Then Data Storage and ultimately Data Security must be taken into account! Rogue systems inside a large corporation must be discovered and disconnected to protect the enterprise. Work in either Infrastructure (touching a box or network or voice system) or Application Development are both lucrative and interesting. Of course another 300,000 Indians let in to take our jobs will help a lot! Thanks DC! NOT! We let foreign workers into our companies and then wonder why we have security problems? C'mon!

One-Percent-Joe opens his mouth and once again confirms what a lot of people already knew, and others suspected...... he is a fool and a jackass, repeating phrases where he has NO IDEA what they mean.
Biden proves that you don't really need a functioning brain to be a Democrat politician.
The sad thing is that Quid-Pro-Joe is the 'least bad' 'active' candidate on the Democ'RAT side.
As bad a candidate, and as he is (and as horrible a President he would be!) the others are even worse.
I'm with DirtyJersey (#13) that the 'Rats have something underhanded planned, and the HildeBeast swooping on her broom to 'rescue' a 'brokered' convention sounds like the most likely scenario for the crooked 'Rats to follow.
