Congressional Democrats who fear Connecticut U.S. Attorney John Durham may be conducting a partisan investigation into the origins of the FBI’s probe into Russian meddling in U.S. elections are calling on him to resign.
Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., has written Attorney General William Barr and Durham, saying “neither of you possess the integrity necessary to serve in the Department of Justice.”
Signed by 10 of Johnson’s House Democratic colleagues — but none from Connecticut — the letter’s demand for Barr’s resignation is not unique.
In May, for instance, Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal said Barr should “probably resign” because,

What's that old saying: ''When you're taking flack, you know you're over the target.'' Bombs away, Mr. Barr and Mr. Durham, take no prisoners.

Will insisting get them more than demanding? How about holding their breath until they get their way?

They need not worry about the results being partisan.
I'm sure they will arrest plenty of corrupt Republicans too.

It might not be a good idea to anger Barr and Durham any more than they already are. They tend to view smear campaigns like this as potential obstruction of justice attempts.

The Dems are the most partisan ideologues around and they keep screaming that the Republicans are just biased partisans. It's irritating. And their followers all parrot everything they say.

You can tell the left is truly powerless when they use stooges, like Hank to further their "agenda." It's worth noting that the long time Dems, like Steny Hoyer and his ilk, sit on the sidelines allowing "the squad" and dolts like Johnson to carry the message.

This is a perfect example of the political double standard that has been ongoing in DC for a very long time with the Democrats criminalizing Republican policies and positions, a situation that was allowed to grow under past Republican Presidents, which brings the Bush family politicians to mind who never effectively defended their professional or personal reputations as the Democrats kicked them in the dirt for many years.
That double standard is easy for anyone above moron status to recognize. Currently the Democrats are defending all forms of suspected Democrat based corruption, both financial and political, by absolutely attempting to stop all legitimate inquiries and investigations into suspected Democrat wrongdoing, including demanding the resignations of federal law enforcement managers who dare to initiate legitimate inquiries and investigations into Democrat operatives and politicians.
While at the same time calling for repeated investigations and impeachment inquisitions into White House deliberations and meetings leading up to domestic and foreign policy decisions by the President that have always been considered to be within the discretion and Constitutional powers of the President.
If the Democrats are successful in their efforts to effectively criminalize legitimate policy decisions made by the President with which the Democrats do not agree, essentially the Democrat controlled congressional committees would be able to subpoena the President’s White House lawyers and staff in the future on a daily or weekly basis to appear before those committees to explain the contents of all White House deliberations and policy decisions that have throughout history been confidential and covered under executive privilege. For all intents and purposes, the leftist and liberal Congressional Democrats are essentially attempting to hold President Trump to such a high politically based standard, that during the Second World War, the President would not have been able to have freewheeling dealings with foreign powers, including the USSR, and making it doubtful that essential military decisions to win the war, such as the Normandy landings, and the nuclear attacks against Japan could not have been carried out without extensive congressional hearings the essence of which would be leaked to the media.

AG Barr's and Durham's criminal investigation must be a lot closer to identifying the persons who were criminally party to collusion with the Russians. Otherwise, why would Johnson and the dims be launching another cya stink bomb to discredit Barr and Durham.

Like any good prosecutor, Durham is going where the evidence leads him. Boy that evidence must be terrifying for democrats right now. Hey, they intimidated Sleepy Sessions into recusing, so they think it will work with Barr and Durham too. Not a chance. This is why Pelosi is holding onto the articles she promised were soimportant. She wants to run the Senate show as well. Turtle is many things, but in this, he will not share his seat at the table, not even for her.

Hey, I'm calling on Hank Johnson to resign. My reason is because he has no integrity and lacks the moral compass to accuse even satan of lacking integrity. And, Hank Johnson, Dumb Fieldhand-GA is racist for calling for a privileged white man to resign from his job.

Durham had to say something about predicate, because the IG was limited to questioning existing employees, which he said was a weakness in the IG law. He called for reform of the law.

This demand to resign, along with the corrupt take impeachment and the attempt by the ambassador to Ukraine's demand that they stop investigations are all tied to one fact. The dems are afraid of the facts that Giuliani has uncovered will come to light. (Which is why they are now attacking him.) The DNC along with Hillary and Soros and Biden colluded with Ukraine to interfere with the 2016 election stop Donald Trump from winning the election. They were also involved in money laundering to the tune of hundreds of millions that got funneled back to the DNC and the democrat players, then they accused Donald Trump of colluding with Russia to throw the attention away from their fraudulent ways. I hope the involved all are charged with sedition or treason.
