With barely a month to go before the Iowa caucus, the Democratic Party’s presidential primary should be accelerating into the news cycle like a Formula One racecar burning its wheels, but thus far has looked more like a skateboard on the beach. The latest debate was roundly ignored. To steal a joke from Bob Newhart, it practically got a negative rating, which means several people who don’t own televisions were surveyed and said if they did own one they also wouldn’t have watched it.
Honestly, how can this possibly be? This is, after all, a contest to decide which Democratic hero will square off against a president that most party members

Maybe it's because even many democrats and Independents are realizing ALL of those candidates are nuts and socialism will NEVER be the Law of the Land. As sane people know, there's no such thing as 'FREE' because, well...SOMEONE has to pay for all that free stuff, no matter what lies the Star Wars bar scene nitwits scream.

I'm far more inclined to believe it's invisible by design. The purpose, of course, is to allow those in charge to annoint the next Chosen One (rather than allowing voters to decide).

All the candidates running are losers. Maybe the Democrats who have name recognition aren’t running is because they know they would lose to Donald or a coup will have taken effect.
I have a gut feeling that things are in the works that take away our liberty. There has been open borders for years. Do they have enough illegals here to steal the election? We also have the Soros made voting machines to be concerned about.
Enjoy our freedom while we have it.

"... a president that most party members view as a combination of Hitler, Darth Vader, and Benedict Arnold" ....now there's a really FAKE statement! Everyone I talk to views our POTUS as a true Patriot and American Hero for the amazing things he has accomplished in a very few years. We finally have hope that the greedy Swamp in DC will be drained... and perhaps even pay something for the great harm they have purposefully caused!

#2 I have been saying that from the beginning. The real candidate will be named at the convention.

I'm sure that the wheels and gears behind the scenes are being lined up to present Hillary as the consensus candidate....

#4, you need to get out more. I do not know a single Democrat who does not view Trump as the article depicts. For the most part, those people I know well enough to have a feel for what they believe politically are divided into four categories. The largest group, by far, are those who think that Donald trump is evil incarnate and that only evil people could possibly support him. This group is always shocked to discover that someone they respect falls into one of the other groups. On the other end are those who feel as positively about Trump as the first group feels negatively. This is by far the smallest group. The last two groups will decide the election. One of those groups dislike Donald Trump, but believe he has been a good to great President and deserves a second term. The final group strongly dislikes Trump and would like him to go away. Fortunately, many of that last group realize that if Donald Trump goes away, those who are making their life miserable ranting about Trump will just turn their focus elsewhere.

The Incredible Shrinking Party lead by Smurf presidential candidates and House dolts and ruffians. They have said that if they don't impeach, Trump will win in 2020. That means they have no faith in their bowling pin candidates who are just waiting to be knocked down. They are putting all their efforts into a no hope impeachment effort that will probably help Trump more than it hurts him.
They are a party of dead enders.

The Dim establishment (strategists and media) are just embarrassed by their clown car of candidates.

If I were a Dem strategist I would be terrified by the results from the British election. Labor put up a terrorist-loving communist who promoted Jew-hating and promised all sorts of unaffordable programs (sound familiar?). It was a monumental disaster for the left. Let's hope it repeats here.

Because nobody with any common sense really believes that any of the Democrat socialist politicians, or the socialist policy leaning politicians now running in the Democrat primaries is going to be the eventual Democrat nominee. When it comes around to Democrat Convention time it will be Barack Obama as the head of the Democrat Party, with a bunch of chosen big time Democrat operatives and politicians, who will pick the eventual Democrat nominee and ticket, that the Democrats will then fraudulent tout as being more conservative and diverse than President Trump and Vice-President Pence.

Midgets, all. Many - even here - thought that Donald J. Trump was not sufficiently presidential. Seriously? Look again.
