MSNBC anchor Chuck Todd is facing criticism over a recent interview in which he confused author Toni Morrison and poet Maya Angelou.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Todd spoke about the spread of "disinformation" and was asked if he was "surprised" by the Trump administration's willingness to "spread disinformation."
"I fully admit, listening to you ask that question now, and me giving you the honest answer of, yeah, I guess I really believed they wouldn’t do this. Just so absurdly naive in hindsight," Todd responded. "Donald Trump’s entire life has been spent using misinformation.

They sure get their laced panties in a twist over a nothing confusion about who is who. If I had to give a multiple choice answer to a photo quiz with those pictures, I would have tanked it!

Well, as far as talent goes, Morrison and Angelou are pretty much the same--they lack even a scintilla of it. However, love seeing Todd, another brainless and shameless 'progressive' clown, lifted up on his own leftist petard.

To say Chuck Todd is a lightweight (with an agenda) is insulting lightweights. This was the network of Tim Russert, with whom I didn't always agree , but who DID know his subject matter and attempted to walk an ethical line. (Just hearing Todd go on about Hunter Biden's Burisma scam being "settled" was the very last straw.) WHO hired this guy for this job, and why do they keep him....they make the Net look like a laughingstock.

What hypocrites the media are. Brazenly lie through their teeth ever day to the nation, yet Trump calling them out with relevant and provable FACTS is now called spreading disinformation and very sad. Saddam, Stalin, and Mao would be so proud of each and every one of them for their brazen and outright lies.
The silver lining in this stinky cloud of BS is that they are lying to democrats too at the same time. Hence their tantrums about Hildabeest losing. After all, didn't the media promise them she was gonna win, and that there was no path to 270 for Trump? Their fellow Leftists would n't lie to them would they?? As Sheldon would say, 'muah ha ha'.

Maya Angelou was timeless and inspirational. She has left a cherished legacy.,
“There’s a world of difference between truth and facts. Facts can obscure the truth.”
“You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.“
“If you’re always trying to be normal you will never know how amazing you can be.”

I seem to recall a black woman at Dollar Bill Clinton's 1993 inaugural. The woman had written a poem for the occasion and read it to the audience. (I thought,, at the time, that she appeared to be unbalanced.) (Clinton was trying to follow JFK's example, who had Robert Frost read a poem at his 1961 inauguration. Frost had a problem reading the poem, because of the sunshine.)
Was the Clinton poem reader Maya Angelou? Wasn't she a prostitute and drug addict, early in her life?

#9, she was indeed that woman at Slick's 1993 inauguration. She was an early civil rights activist (it's all about race with most of them). She was bestowed many "honorary" degrees and awards but her talent is not at the level that one would expect. Most of her "quotes" seem to come from somewhere else. She spends most of her time defending herself from critics who expect actual poetry and art work.

Todd's wife is in heavy with the democrats, co-founded an organization called Maverick Strategies and Mail, providing mail and consulting services to democrats. She is also a consultant to, again, you guessed it, democrats. So F. Chuck Todd definitely has a conflict of interest in hosting that so called show Meet the Press. The comments here are correct, he's a clown who cuts people off, mostly Republicans and makes these strange faces, gets visibly angry when he's losing the argument. It's known he never graduated from college. Rumors have it that he does not even have a degree in political science OR journalism. The link I found said "...who is known to be a journalist". lol. Check these outlandish over-embellishments, how funny! http://www.odssf.com/biography/kristian-todd

Chuckie Todd I wouldn't sweat the mix up blacks think all white honkies like yourself look alike. I mix you and Chris Matthews up all the time.
Angelou the rambling, untalented fake poet during Dollar Bill's inauguration compare Bill Clinton to dinosaur poop that's right a prehistoric pile of bowel how fitting and very correct but Angelou didn't know it at time.
Chuck Todd lying about President Trump 'spreading disinformation' that's rich.

All I know is that I once tried to read Morrison’s “Beloved” and couldn’t get beyond about 40 pages. It was incomprehensible drivel. And I have been a lifetime voracious reader.

Chuck Todd's lack of a degree is not the problem - he lacks humanity and would be the same idiot if he had a Ph.D.
Liberals are always highly praised for shoddy and mediocre work because their audience is at the same level. Look at Norman Mailer, highly praised for his rambling nonsense. The Obamas and their Ayers-derived books. Hillary Clinton, the entire New York Times Bestseller list going back twenty years. I could go on for days.

I guess this is not on subject, but lately, every article tells you what someone said, and then posts a copy of the tweet where they said it. If the tweet had 10 replies, they repeat the tweet 10 times, along with the tweet itself. Do journalists get paid by the word? Very annoying.

Angelou, like so many, had a real charm on tv and speaking to an audience. HOWEVER, she spoke at my son's college (for very big bucks) years ago and he was in charge of helping pick up and delver her. He said she was nasty beyond words, treated students like servants, and would only accept the very very best in terms of a hotel, and the very very best room. It paid if you were Oprah, then, or someone who could do her good, but not if you were one of the "little people."

How sweet that Todd is referring to Trump's "disinformation" campaign and then is blows a quote attributed to a "beloved" black woman author, vomiting out real disinformation. Every time these Wiley Coyote things happen to these people, I just see God sitting up there laughing. He does have a great sense of humor.
