Speaker Nancy Pelosi refused to commit Wednesday to delivering articles of impeachment to the Senate, citing concerns about an unfair trial on removing President Donald Trump from office. Senior Democratic aides said the House was “very unlikely” to take the steps necessary to send the articles to the Senate until at least early January, a delay of at least two weeks and perhaps longer.“So far we haven’t seen anything that looks fair to us,” Pelosi told reporters at a news conference just moments after the House charged Trump with abuse of power and obstructing congressional investigations.
Nancy is just proving the point that this is all political and has nothing to do with crimes and misdemeanors. My guess is they will try to delay until Durham is about to bring the hammer down so they can blow smoke on the real crimes that they themselves committed before and after the election. Durham may not have his case ready until spring though and so holding on that long may just prove to be a bigger chore than these nitwits think, oh that's right they don't think they just feel, which is why they need no proof of crimes just a general feeling that he did something, sometime, somewhere.

Why can't Trump's lawyers ask that whatever is sent to the Senate by the House be sent to the Supreme Court and ask for a ruling on whether the "impeachment" meets the criteria for "high crimes and misdemeanors" before any senate action is taken? If the Supreme Court rules that the House action does not meet the criteria that would make the "impeachment" null and void. We all know that the Senate will not vote yeah for the impeachment and he wouldn't be removed from office but it would mean that none of this crazy crap done by the House would be on Trump's record for the history books. They should hire that constitutional lawyer Jonathon Turley to present the case to the Supreme Court .

Nan, you've been outmaneuvered again. The Senate CAN proceed without your delivering your articles. Yep, that darn Constitution keeps getting in your way, no?

And by the way, Nan, Pencil Neck and Humpty Dumpty did not conduct fair hearings and what they did was a criminal abuse of power. No reason why McConnell should respond to your "anything that looks fair to us" snark. Take a hike, witch.

Whatever happens...it is the President who has the right of a fair trial, not a political party seeking their preferred outcome.

FTA: “So far we haven’t seen anything that looks fair to us,” Pelosi told reporters at a news conference
By "anything" I wonder if she is referring to the kangaroo court in the House....

Smucky and Nasty want fairness in the Senate. McConnell should publicly announce that the Senate will pattern their trial after the house hearings, since the Dims thought that they were fair.

Lindsay Graham needs to call Barack Hussein Obama to testify under oath regarding his role in the Trump campaign spying operation, etc. Go straight to the big dog.

Fine. Postpone any Senate action until after the 2020 election.

She can threaten but it will change nothing. Read the article from Joel B. Pollak, Breitbart, posted up the page. The Senate can still go ahead and move to dismiss or acquit. Does not need anything further from Nancy.

I thought there was urgency? They had to act NOW--- so Trump can't mess with the 2020 election?
If that's the case, how can they now ask for a DELAY?

End this political fraud in the fastest, shortest possible way. This shouldn't take a full hour in the Senate.

Pelosi's claims that she hasn't seen any procedures from McConnell that she believes are fair IS AN OUTRIGHT LIE!!
McConnnell has proposed the exact same impeachment trial procedures and protocols that were used in 1999 by the Senate in Clinton's trial. Those procedures were approved bi-partisanly by over 90 Senators.
