Great to hear what McConnell said. Now can the morons in the House figure out that they are only shooting themselves in the foot by carrying this foolish fraud any farther?

Good move, Mr. Speaker. Let the President direct the strategy. I have to wonder why Senator Graham wants a quick vote with no witness testifying. Is he afraid that Rudy might have found some Ukranian checks written to a lot of politicians of both parties, as well as top bureaucrats in the federal government? Just a bit concerned about Graham's intent to keep the lid on the garbage can when the stench should expose the corrupt.

The democrat will be embarrassed either way, or should be any way. A quick vote will deliver a quick rebuke to the democrats. Like a little kid asking for a cookie, and the parent says 'NO.' Done, end of story. A major putdown for a little 'kid.,' the democrats. The trial of course will really bring embarrassment to the nasty dems. They could even ask the President of Ukraine to testify, along will all the other bad guys involved in the scandal..

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) was brilliant from beginning to end of this latest coup attempt and impeachment sham by radical Democrats from October through December. Gaetz made it look like child’s play the way he utterly destroyed the pompous Trump-hating elitists who were called in to “testify” their hatred of President Trump. Who will ever forget this tongue-lashing he unloaded on the unhinged and hate-filled Stanford professor who took a jab at President Trump’s 13-year-old son. Pure Brilliance!

The original requests to declassify the Carter Page FISA application came in January 2018 as a result of the Nunes memo. A classified and heavily redacted version of the application was released July 21st, 2018. A month later, in August 2018, Congress again requested the Trump administration to declassify the document(s). In September 2018 DAG Rod Rosenstein told the President if he followed through with the request Special Counsel Mueller would consider that an obstruction of his investigation: (Tweets)

The video triggered a massive state investigation into the controversial practice. The boy appears upset and is prevented from leaving the room by a female school aide. A decision will follow by June 2020.That timeline heightens the stakes for the president. Should the high court rule against Trump, the contested subpoenas will be enforced in short order. Now that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz has finally released his much-anticipated report on alleged misconduct by the FBI during the 2016 election, two famous memos — one released by Republican Rep. Devin Nunes while he was House Intelligence Committee chairman, and Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff, who has since taken over the position — have come under renewed scrutiny. The memos presented dueling versions of how the FBI began to surveil Trump campaign adviser Carter Page in an effort to investigate alleged “collusion” with Russia. So who had it right? A fact-checker for The Washington Post has been forced to admit that Nunes got a “fair amount” right —

Hillary Clinton looked wonderfully youthful at an event on Broadway in New York last night - and aesthetic experts suggest it could be down to regular 'tweakments' and cosmetic procedures. As a former U.S. attorney general, I am reluctant to publicly criticize my successors. I respect the office and understand just how tough the job can be. But recently, Attorney General William P. Barr has made a series of public statements and taken actions that are so plainly ideological, so nakedly partisan and so deeply inappropriate for America’s chief law enforcement official that they demand a response from someone who held the same office. Last month, at a Federalist Society event, the attorney general delivered an ode to essentially unbridled executive power, dismissing the authority of the legislative and judicial branches — and the checks

BROWNSVILLE, Texas -- Salvador Castillo was yearning for tranquility when he became enchanted by a one-acre homestead close -- but not too close -- to the city, a place where cows graze beneath whispering mesquite trees on the property's edge. Castillo, an Afghanistan war veteran, and his wife bought the home using military benefits and grew their family into their new neighborhood -- about half a mile from a bend in the Rio Grande. They never imagined a border wall could dissect their property someday. But the first letter, stamped with an official government seal, arrived about a year ago. Their neighbors, the Carrascos and Trevinos, got them too.

Perhaps if Democrats would momentarily shelve their obsession with Donald Trump, they’d comprehend the staggering abuse of power they’re defending these days. Because much of Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing with DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz was jaw-dropping. Horowitz’s testimony, in fact, sounded little like the media depiction of the IG report only the day before. Most major outlets had stressed that the IG had found no bias in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. But failing to uncover explicit instances of bias and exonerating the FBI aren’t the same thing. Worse, most of the media had buried the lede. An honest headline would have read something like: “Obama’s FBI cooked up
