DOJ IG: Obama May Have Known FBI

Former President Barack Obama may have been aware the FBI was surveilling Donald Trump’s presidential campaign based on Russian election interference claims, the newly released audit by the inspector general at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) revealed. In DOJ IG Michael Horowitz’s report, then-FBI Director James Comey said although Obama did not explicitly ask for an investigation into Trump, he urged the FBI to warn soon to be president of the surveillance that was taking place through counterintelligence defensive briefings. Comey expressed reservations to the DOJ IG about approving the Page FISA [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act] request that enabled the investigation of the Trump campaign.

Since a counter intelligence investigation has to be approved by the president, Obama knew about it, authorized it. There were several meetings with the Deep State where the issues were discussed.

Of course obama knew. Comey would have made sure so he would get all the brownie points for his efforts. Hillary was going to be president and the whole thing would never see the light of day. What tangled webs we weave.

When it comes to then President Barack Obama knowing anything about the investigation, that knowledge is always going to be cloaked in what they call plausible deniability at least until someone spills the beans. From reading that article, it appears that the involved super bureaucrats are now trying to cover their butts. You got to remember that the high level super bureaucrats running the CIA and the FBI are always pretty darn cautious when it comes to taking any questionable action that would put their career government positions, their personal qualifications, and their reputations in danger, as the first rule in the high level bureaucracy is to take care of number one first and foremost. So those super bureaucrats would have had to have “insurance” from the highest levels that they would be protected and rewarded for taking that action, and in this case that insurance would have come from Obama and his White House crew, and the rewards would come later after Hillary Clinton was elected.

He certainly knew about it and ordered it. Career bureaucrats don't take it upon themselves to thwart a national election and then attempt to undo its results without orders from the top. Obama was the most corrupt and incompetent person elected to the presidency in the entire history of the United States. I still wonder how such a shiftless do-nothing with no accomplishments could have been elected to anything. His banana republic mentality and obvious disdain for the intelligence of most American citizens makes you wonder how he ever graduated from any law school, and especially with a major in constitutional law where he didn't even understand the American Constitution. He is a prime example of the results of equal opportunity---"let's give 'em a degree and get them out of here to keep our quotas up".

Never forget Trump had no chance. They still can't believe he is President and that his approval is so high. This is impossible. It's that kind of mindset that just might provide all the powder needed to blow open the biggest con the most massive coup in the history of the world. Let's open that box and see just how illegal it was for BO to be President. Who broke the law besides him, who covered up for him, who are the foreign instigators, how was it done and who in the media knew how illegal it was? THAT would amazing the kind of revelation that 'would be too much of a shock to the American public to allow.' Bring it on. Give them hell and if every darn one of them is in on it replace all of them. If that blessed event could happen, make them follow the laws they pass, NO special deals. It will take a lot more than this to make that happen, but it sure would be nice if this was the first crack in the ice.

Perhaps if Democrats would momentarily shelve their obsession with Donald Trump, they’d comprehend the staggering abuse of power they’re defending these days. Because much of Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing with DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz was jaw-dropping. Horowitz’s testimony, in fact, sounded little like the media depiction of the IG report only the day before. Most major outlets had stressed that the IG had found no bias in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. But failing to uncover explicit instances of bias and exonerating the FBI aren’t the same thing. Worse, most of the media had buried the lede. An honest headline would have read something like: “Obama’s FBI cooked up
