I quickly skimmed some of the findings and it appears that the IG said he could not find improper purpose or bias because the witnesses said they did not know why something was done or could not remember. That doesn't mean there was no bias, only that there was not enough evidence.

The IG report is a purely bureaucratic analysis of the actions taken to initiate the FISA warrant and concluded that it was fraudulent but not predicated on any political bias against Trump. It asserts that the blatant FBI confidential informant sting operations they ran on Page and Papadopoulos were standard operating procedures used by the FBI to spy on other Americans so move on. The fact that this was the campaign of the opposition party for the Presidency apparently didn't raise the bar for validity or scrutiny of motives. John Durham has already replied by saying in effect, "I don't think so, Mikey, and you don't know what you are talking about". The story now moves to the DOJ with Barr and Durham who have real badges and guns and aren't incredulous bean counters like Horowitz.

Clearly this administrative IG Report just like previous reports by this Inspector General Horowitz, a Barack Obama appointee, was a colossal waste of time and money. After it is scrutinized and analyzed, you can bet with a political bent, for a few days by the media talking heads, and then filtered out to the public, the half of the country that has common sense will conclude that this new Report is just another chapter in the ongoing great DC super bureaucratic “Deep State” cover up and whitewash of the Obama crew and “Deep State” attempts to “frame” Donald Trump as being a traitor and agent of Russia of which there was never any evidence or proof.

I think I was one of the first to download it from the DOJ link and read it. Pretty much what I'd expect from an IG. They did throw Bruce Ohr under the Obama bus however. He'll turn witness for the prosecution unless they can get to him first. He's still working at the FBI, so they can nail him.

Well, it's Mr Durham and his crew that would be prosecuting and it is heartening to see that his office has diplomatically and professionally called the IG report a big pile of dog droppings (ie, we have evidence to the contrary). Maybe this is Bruce and Nellie Ohr's wake-up call that it is time to turn states evidence.

The gravy train trough of corruption is beyond comprehension. The amount of money at stake is in the trillions. Priority #1, sustain the trough. Priority #2, jockey against your political opposition for the best positions at the trough. Hence the uniparty is #1, they are all in this together. The infighting for the best positions at the trough is a distraction fooling us into thinking that they are representing differing points of view on how our country should be run. It's pathetic and we see through it. The thieves are in charge.

I apologize to my fellow Americans for wasting 20 years defending this continuing criminal enterprise. Those people obey no law and fear no justice. I had my rifle aimed at some overseas enemy when it was right here all along. And the worst part is, when we use the constitutional solution and vote someone else in, it doesn't matter. They become a corrupt part of the swamp before the nightie is off their congressional page. There are not many recourses left.

The new inspector general report on FISA abuse settles the debate between Republicans and Democrats on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Both groups put out memos about the Department of Justice’s efforts to secure a warrant to wiretap Carter Page. At the time of their release, the media praised Democrat Adam Schiff and his memo and vilified Republican Devin Nunes and his memo. Nearly two years later, the inspector general’s report vindicates the Nunes memo while showing that the Schiff memo was riddled with lies and false statements. The memo from the Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee reported: A salacious and unverified dossier formed an essential part of the application

House Democrats and the Trump administration have reached an agreement to move forward with the White House’s replacement for the North American Free Trade Agreement, top Democrats said Tuesday. The two sides had worked for more than a year to resolve Democratic concerns about enforcement tools for labor and environmental standards under the new deal, known as the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement. House Democrats, President Donald Trump, top Senate Republicans and labor leaders all cited progress toward a deal this week. The Trump administration needs to submit ratifying legislation to Congress for the House to move forward with approving the agreement.

Much has been made in the media about uncertainty regarding our nation’s trade policy. Stories of those harmed by the trade tensions between the United States and China, as well as by the tensions between the U.S. and its North American neighbors, permeate the news cycles. Most of this uncertainty is blamed on President Trump’s confrontational negotiating style. However, when it comes to trade relations between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, Trump has already delivered a trade agreement. The only person prolonging uncertainty in this case and inflicting unnecessary economic damage is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement has been before Congress for months now with no action.

Democrats last year smeared Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) when he issued a memo with findings that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) abused the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act process when it obtained surveillance warrants on Carter Page, a member of the Trump campaign, in 2016. However, a report released Monday by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz provided a damning indictment of the FBI’s use of the FISA process that vindicated Nunes’s memo and proved Democrats’ smears and assertions were false. Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz released an 83-page whitewash and former FBI Director James Comey is still exposed as a dirty cop. Only adding to his disgrace is that almost immediately after the release of the report, this dirty cop took to the pages of the far-left Washington Post to falsely and arrogantly claim vindication. To understand just how shoddy the FBI’s work was in securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant targeting the Trump campaign, you only need to read an obscure attachment to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report. Appendix 1 identifies the total violations by the FBI of the so-called Woods Procedures, the process by which the bureau verifies information and assures the FISA court its evidence is true. The Appendix identifies a total of 51 Woods procedure violations from the FISA application the FBI submitted to the court authorizing surveillance of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page starting in October 2016.A whopping nine of those violations fell into the category called: “Supporting

AG Barr makes clear he has the Deep State in his sights and he appears fully prepared to take this to the finish line. (Snip) “The Inspector General’s report now makes clear that the FBI launched an intrusive investigation of a U.S. presidential campaign on the thinnest of suspicions that, in my view, were insufficient to justify the steps taken. Additionally, Durham's criminal review has had additional investigative resources not available to Horowitz.
