Trumping a Low Pair

The week ended with the President trumping a low pair -- congressmen Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler -- when White House Counsel Pat Cipollone responded to Congressman Nadler’s demand that the Judiciary Committee be informed if the White House intended to participate in the second act of the impeachment clown show. The letter in sum says, "go right to impeachment so we can have a real trial in the Senate":

Comments:

Clarice shows that the Dems have dug themselves into a hole and probably will never pass articles of impeachment.

Without the articles of impeachment; will we have a chance to question the bad actors under oath? If that is the case, I want impeachment. If we can question these traitors, otherwise, them lets have an end to this charade. But, Damn it , I want someone on the left to hang! Almost literally!

I find it extremely hard to believe, after 3 years, that the democrats actually thought President Trump would roll over for them like so many Republicans before him have done. Pure hate and arrogance, echoed by their corrupt media allies have put them in this position. I'm with the president, bring it on!

I'm pretty sure Nadler and Schiff don't have a pair between them. Add Harry Reid and they are still lacking. So where did the expected pair wind up? Check AOC's purse.

Let's not forget the difference between "impeach" and "remove". The first is simply a list of charges written by politicians accusing the office holder of whatever the House may decide are worthy high crimes and misdemeanors. The removal, if so ordered, comes after a trial and a conviction voted by 2/3ds of the Senate. Impeachment after this Schiff/Nadler fiasco is highly unlikely short of political kamikaze. Without impeachment, Mitch and his GOPe gang keep their hands clean...but wait...there's more coming. PDT is still a serious threat to the UNIPARTY cabal.

Great article, but Clarice forgot a few of the most important people who will be on the witness list - Gropey Joe, his son Snorter Biden, perhaps the president of Ukraine, Illary, 0bama, Comey, Clapper, Brennan, Strzok, Page and others. Some of them were involved in the Russia fraud and not in the Ukraine fraud, but some of the House dims are trying to bring Russiagate back into the show, even after the Mueller report, because they know that the phone call was perfectly legal and they’ve got nothing else.

I can't imagine Pelousy trying to drag this pathetic show on for months, especially as REAL results from Horowitz and especially Dunham start to play out. Schiffty and Nadless have embarrassed themselves in clowndom already. The Deep State has been exposed as the Dope State. Academia has taken a pratfall and caused people to wonder how anyone could learn anything meaningful from them. Meanwhile, even given their limited flexibility, the Republicans have become adept at reducing the dem witlesses to whining parodies of human beings. The reality is that Pelousy has NO good choices. As suggested, she may be waiting for a Hail Mary pass to drop into the dems' laps but given their experiences with Trump that is ridiculously unlikely. So wait she might but not in a safe place. The dems are sitting in a vat of corrosive acid. By November 2020 there may not be much of them left. Their only path out is a really bad minefield that is likely to explode them into tiny bits. The dems deserve every bit of the hell they are in and all that is to come. I hope they are broken beyond repair.

When even CNN reports that the economy is booming and the President’s popularity soaring, what can a Democratic House stuck with loser candidates do? Peddle a phony impeachment. And when the President says, bring it on, I want the same rights you give a felon for a fair trial (in this case, the Senate), what do you do? Refuse to name managers for the trial and fail to move the matter over to the Senate, which according to the Constitution is the body vested with the obligation to decide the matter.

Like American Thinker’s Monica Showalter and Sharyl Attkisson, I think Attorney General William Barr is honest, very capable, and on his way to exposing the Deep State and its skullduggery in the 2016 election. It’s a time-consuming labor and it may well be late spring or early summer before we see the fruits of his and U.S. Attorney John Durham's work, but it’s coming. In the meantime several developments -- the Supreme Court’s action this week, and the overwhelming rejection of the UK’s Labour Party at the polls fill me with hope that our national nightmare -- the arrogance and stupidity of our political, academic, judicial, and journalist elites -

PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. – An Wisconsin judge on Friday ordered the state to remove hundreds of thousands of people from Wisconsin's voter rolls because they may have moved. The case is being closely watched because of the state's critical role in next year's presidential race. Ozaukee County Judge Paul Malloy also denied the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin's petition to intervene. Lawyers for the League and for the Wisconsin Elections Commission indicated they will appeal and asked Malloy to stay his ruling pending those appeals, but he declined.

Last week's stabbings by Usman Khan, a devout Muslim who murdered two people and injured three others on London Bridge, by far overshadowed the arrest of Zachary Clark, 40, of Brooklyn, New York, the day before Americans celebrated Thanksgiving. Clark, who faces up to forty years in prison, was charged with one count of attempting to provide material support to ISIS, and one count of distributing information relating to explosives, destructive devices, and weapons of mass destruction. The arrest, as U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman for the Southern District of New York stated, was made possible through surveillance by the Joint Terrorist Task Force.

The valedictorian of a Detroit high school is reportedly struggling with basic math in college. The development comes as colleges have increasingly rejected objective admissions criteria in the name of “equity,” with University of California poised to no longer require the SAT because of the racial impact it has on admissions. “Marqell McClendon has struggled in the low-level math class she’s taking during her first semester at Michigan State University,” the news outlet Chalkbeat reported Nov. 15. McClendon, the valedictorian of her graduating class at Detroit’s Cody High School, was used to getting all A’s, but found herself asking strangers to help her with her college coursework, it said.

Here's one the Chicoms really didn't want: Protesters in southern Guangdong province, China, took to the streets last week to demand the communist government not build a polluting crematorium near their town, adopting slogans common to the Hong Kong protest movement, Time magazine noted on Monday.

A furious political row broke out today after it was revealed that the London Bridge terrorist was released automatically from prison last year. Usman Khan, 28, was sentenced in 2012 after being arrested in 2010 for terrorism offences for his part in an al Qaeda-inspired terror group that plotted to bomb the London Stock Exchange and kill Boris Johnson. The Stoke-on-Trent-based radical, along with two co-conspirators, originally received an indeterminate sentence for public protection with a minimum of eight years behind bars - meaning he could be kept indefinitely if he continued to pose a risk to the public. However, this sentence was later quashed, after a ruling from judges

President Trump is Hong Kong’s sudden hero. Hours after he signed two bills to support human rights in Hong Kong, angering Chinese government officials, pro-democracy protesters in the beleaguered city held a “Thanksgiving Rally” Thursday night to commend him for taking the action. And front and center at the rally were printouts of the president’s Wednesday tweet showing his head on Rocky Balboa’s chiseled body. “Fight for freedom, stand with Hong Kong,” thousands of protestors chanted in a public square as they waved American flags and held up copies of the photo composite.

In this partisan environment, people were quick to judge President Donald J. Trump’s reinstatement of anchors to my brother, Special Warfare Operator Chief Edward “Eddie” Gallagher. Out of the woodwork came former military attorneys, indignant Pentagon officials and your typical Washington establishment types. Their views were mainly the same. The president’s actions were a moral hazard! What message will it send our troops? What of good order and discipline? I have one question for these people: Where in the hell were you the past year and a half? Eddie’s case and court-martial trial revealed a massive cancer within the military justice system, doing irreparable damage to troop morale that may last decades.

Former Republican Sen. Flake, who represented Arizona in the U.S. Senate from 2013 until 2019, urged his former colleagues to undergo a “simple test,” which involves questioning how former President Barack Obama would have been treated under the same circumstances. “What if President Barack Obama had engaged in precisely the same behavior?” Flake asked rhetorically.
