Impeachment Is Slowly Destroying
Democrats’ 2020 Political Hopes

Original Article

Democratic efforts to impeach President Donald Trump were supposed to help them politically in 2020. In moments of unguarded honesty, a few Democrats admitted as much publicly, saying the quiet part loud and the loud part quiet. (Video) It’s a great example of how this particular impeachment push keeps backfiring on Democrats. They claim, without evidence, that Trump was trying to get Ukraine to meddle in the 2020 election by asking for their cooperation in investigating Ukrainian efforts to meddle in the 2016 election.

"It would be much wiser for him to cut his losses and leave the casino before making things worse, but for some reason he just can’t put down the dice." Yup. Addiction/obsession/TDS is a howling monkey on the backs of the dems. "Trump is clearly vulnerable heading into 2020" Huh? What have you been smoking? Trump is clearly under vicious attack by people willing to say and do anything to win. However, all of these people have been exposed as the liars they are. It remains to be seen if the American People are gullible enough to ignore Trump's accomplishments and believe the liars. Is that a "vulnerability"? I don't see it that way. Trump's victory in 2016 turned back an sneak assault on our Republic. The attackers are ramped up for 2020 but also far more exposed for anyone who wants to see. The answer will come in November.

Seriously, after three years of the democrats shenanigans and three years of Trump’s unprecedented successes, who in their right mind would vote for any democrat? God help us if there are not more of us than them. The Republic is hanging in the balance and we do not want to be the generations of Americans who could not keep the Republic as Ben Franklin warned was a real danger. We can only keep it if we go to the polls in 2020. The numbers must be so massive that the democrats won’t even be able to cheat their way to a win.

As we watch these criminals break the law left, right, and center, my question is, why can't they be charged with a crime and arrested? Does the mere fact that they're in Congress make them above the law? This is dangerous. There has to be a way to hold them accountable. Or perhaps we're just too wimpy and politically correct to do anything about it????

FTA - "Impeachment is making that task much harder by showing the American public that Democratic lawmakers’ primary concern isn’t creating jobs or raising wages or lowering health care costs for Americans, it’s sticking it to Trump, no matter the cost." Molly, honey, the last sentence of your piece suggests that you continue to miss the point of what is going on here. Let me 'splain some things. The dims, deep state, msm, and globalists really intend to stick it to us, not the President. Trump just happens to be in their way. This cast of characters desire to implement the new world order and global socialism, fascism really. We are to become the global serfs and go-fers. The world without borders that Obie had promised. The dims also seek to prevent Trump from making another SCOTUS nomination after Ruthie keels over. In time, the dims, if given carte blanche control, will bastardize our election process - one party rule has no need for real elections. Furthermore, the dims are morally and politically bankrupt which has caused their party to lurch hard left in a last gasp attempt to lure our millennials into their web from which there is no escape and build that feel-good utopia they promise to them.

Ms Graham and Mitch Buuuhhh-buhhh-buuuuuuhhhhh-bipartisan McConnell will NOT allow Trump to expose the corruption in the deep state since EVERY (that's right kids, EVERY) senator is part of and/or beholden to it. They'll lamely force Trump and his attorneys to only address the ridiculous articles of impeachment and disallow anything about Ukraine's involvement in the 2016 election nor anything about the illegal dossier coup. So, get ready to be disappointed since that is the ONLY thing the GOP Senate has done; disappoint BUT I don't think now the GOP will add 20 RINO's needed to remove, so Trump won't be removed. And John Roberts will go along to get along with that all knowing smirk because the people are just too stupid to know what's good for them. Can you say Obamacare? If you cannot stand the Republican controlled Senate now, buy some duct tape for the Senate trial.

The last paragraph of this generally very good article is weak. It suggests Mr. Trump is vulnerable to defeat, that Dems are capable of maintaining the House as well as recapturing the Senate. But it doesn't say how. Of course Mr. Trump is vulnerable -- every person standing for election in a free society is. It would have been better if Ms. Hemmingway had said as much -- unless that is not what she meant. And if that isn't want she meant, then what did she mean?

#11 and I are riding in the same car on the Trump Train. The president is the people's representative as it is the only office elected by the whole populous. The Deep State commies underestimated and dismissed citizen concerns during Obama's misadministration. They believed they had successfully marginalized the grassroots TEA Party movement and disenfranchised the deplorables. They were confident Jeb! would be the sacrificial lamb enabling Hillary! to sit in the Oval. Then a funny thing happened on the way to the forum. They met a patriot who could not be bought because he already owned everything. A blue-collar billionaire left his gold-plated penthouse apartment, rode down an escalator to the public lobby, walked out the door and started telling the truth to his countrymen. His fellow citizens responded in numbers and enthusiasm that stunned the traitorous commies. They had been betrayed by a man thought to be part of their elite class. For decades he socialized with them, contributed to their campaigns and heard their conversations. He knew them; their goals, desires and life philosophies, and he was about to turn all that information against them and their dark plans. They hated us first and bullied us at every turn, secure in the knowledge that all "conservative" leaders were card-carrying members of the Uniparty. Their collective hate of all patriots is now laser focused on Donald Trump; the traitor in chief to their globalist goals. It is a wonderment how President Trump has not only withstood the onslaught but has grown stronger. Instead of aging before our eyes, Trump seems younger than four years ago. I truly believe he is God's champion in answer to our many years of prayer. May our president continue to rest in the Hand of God. MAGA - Trust Trump.
